I ask because for the last 4 years straight, they've announced crown sales with the announcement of the quakecon event.

I don’t think that's the case. But even if it is, for the last 4 years straight, they've announced crown sales with the announcement of the quakecon event.

yea i looked at the 2022 post
though that post was made two days before quakecon instead of Eight days before.

the crown sale post will probably just get posted a bit later than this one

I'm uncertain why it's only the deluxe versions which are for sale on Xbox and PlayStation but not the standard upgrade. I'd like to buy it but I have to get it with a mount and other items which I'm not interested in.

I'd save very little.

However, I realise the offer is great for some players.
