Let's check pain points that PvE NB-DD has on live and take a look, if class masteries address them:
Mediocre ST DPS - on week 1 of PTS NB is on the lower end of all ST-parses. The only class that parses (barely) lower is arc. And cro, if we're talking about a non-cheesy cro set-up.
Low cleave - no mastery gives you more cleave directly. Masteries boost your DPS overall, but from the previous point, we can see that it's not even a big boost, so your low cleave remains low.
Complex rotation, extremely dependent on proper weaving - nothing.
Bad sustain - in theory, ulti-gen passive improves the sustain cause you will use ult more often instead of regular skills. In practice, this mastery isn't that good DPS-wise. And "Share the Spoils" only gives sustain for your allies, not you.
Low group utility - ulti-gen passive can boost your group if you're in WM or Crypt jail. That already sounds pretty sad, but remember that Plar also has ultigen mastery. And a unique 300 WPD/SPD from new mastery. And synergy for Kosh from Ritual. Well, Share the Spoils also gives something to allies - sustain, that no one needs, and a low amount of ult - and it's bad DPS-wise.
So, NB masteries solve none of these issues. And, you know, NB is the only class that suffered directly from "damage to monsters" becoming additive with "damage done", since Shadowy Disguise got nerfed with this change. And Shadow is already either the least or second least popular skill line for DDs, which also got nerfed twice, since multiclassing came out.
Now masteries from the PvE healer PoV:
Nocturnal Inspiration - in theory decent utli-gen, but only in fights with multiple enemies, since your crit is low, and you can only proc it with Light Attack or Elemental Blockade. I'm not sure that multiclassing into Bone Tyrant in this case won't grant you more ulti. And the change scales from weapon critical, which is probably lower, since hybridisation is not complete, and you won't have Major Savagery in most cases.
An Eye for Exploitation - more HPS against low HP allies, but you already have enough HPS to outheal anything. So it's kinda useless.
Above and Beyond - even more HPS, but now it's random. And if you actually have some HPS check, you would rather not rely on critical healing. Also, can we make Hemorrhage and other crit passive give both Crit Damage AND Crit Healing, like this mastery and Fated Fortune, at least for consistency? It won't even be a big HPS boost.
Cutthroat's Focus - you should not be the one who's getting attacked by the boss. Useless.
Share the Spoils - transfer has a 4-second CD. Do you have a Siphoning skill you wanna cast every 4th GCD? No. The best option is Healthy Offering, since it procs Pearls of Elnofey. But it's a ST-heal, so it's useless in most cases. Can you do that? Yes. But it feels really miserable. And reward is a little bit more ulti for you, 4 allies and useless sustain for them.
Overall, NB class masteries need a major overhaul to become useful; without it, pure NB DDs and healers will be completely useless.

Because that would lock your stamina recovery for no reason, which a lot of cloak users wouldn't like.
Or, if the sneak flag is given at all times while cloaked, you could use sneak attacks on demand, which a lot of victims wouldn't like.
Unless they rework those systems, letting the players manage it on their own is the best tradeoff.

Hi, I'm that StamSorc. I'm not paid enough to make videos, but I can answer specific questions regarding the duels vs WW as to what they mean and what they don't, or fill in relevant missing information. Most of any CMX report or build sheet is irrelevant.their Stamsorc hitting around 8k. But even then, we don't know much about either build
The criticism from other PvPers was that they are too short, but that is what happens when you do 8k dps in a duel. I've never seen 8k sustained in a long fight. I guess I could sustain it in an artificial parse but to me that is less significant than "can replicate 8sec kills at 8k dps."

ESO Photo Mode Feature
I’ve been thinking it would be really cool if ESO had a proper photo mode.
I know we can kind of work around it right now by hiding the UI and using first-person or certain camera angles, but it’s not really the same as having a dedicated photo mode with free camera controls, lighting options, poses, or whatever other tools it could include.
Other MMOs already do this really well, and it ends up becoming a big part of the community. For example, in a very critically acclaimed MMO the photo mode isn’t just for taking nice screenshots, it’s basically its own culture at this point. People share their characters and outfits everywhere on social media, and there are even whole websites dedicated to showcasing fashion. I’m aware of https://eso-hub.com/en/fashion and the fashion subreddits as well, but I still feel we would benefit a lot from a proper system like this to showcase outfits better.
ESO already looks amazing, and honestly a lot of the official screenshots on the ESO website feel like they were taken with that kind of controlled setup. It would be great if players could more easily recreate that kind of quality themselves in-game.
It’s not just about taking prettier screenshots, but about giving players more tools to be creative and share their characters and experiences in a more meaningful way. We already have an amazing community when it comes to what players create specially with housing and fashion, I believe this would expand our way of playing the game in a positive way.

Thieves Guild Update Request
I couldn't really find a place to put this, and I did a search and the most recent post was in like 2018, so I thought I would post something.
Now that there is more of a focus on fleshing out the older content, I think it would be interesting to finally expand on the thieves guild and possibly also the dark brotherhood. From what I can see ( I could be wrong, I know I haven't done everything yet ) the thieves guild content seems to be overwhelmingly focused on the vanilla zones. That and the heists are quite limited in number. Imo it would be interesting to freshen up the thieves guild / dark brotherhood by adding dailies, and even new story lines, in the newer zones. We have quite a few daedric planes now, so the possibilities are really quite endless. While the usual quests in newer zones would be appreciated, I think there is quite a bit of room to get a bit more creative with the quests, it doesn't necessarily have to be the same old formula.
Anyway, just thought of this since coming back and making a thief / assassin, and was just having some late night musings in my head.
Don't get me wrong, the thieves guild and db are good how they are, but they really could be exceptional and a nice change of pace if a bit of love was put into them after all these years.
What do you think?

This is a really good idea. The days of Arena are long gone and the game needs to reflect that.

Put pets as a world line Conjuration and change Daedric summoning to something else on the sorc. Everyone gets their pets who wants them and the sorc isn’t handicapped by it. I wish for the day my main can run a high dps in content without them instead of beam spamming.

The problem is, it's just so badly done. Like everything. Nothing gets checked. Nothing gets proofread. They launch a whole Wrothgar-oriented Tome, and nothing syncs with anything else. There is a certain amount of satisfaction from alighning your kills with your arenas with your group events, but can you do this? No. We have to wait for Update 50 by which time I will have moved from grumpy to super-grumpy to --- unmentionable words this game. I've probably had to kill 1000 things just to get to the stupid ridiculous annoying public dungeon group event in wrothgar, and none of it counts. I can't even take pleasure in doing the quest because I don't even want to be playing in Wrothgar at the moment, but every time I reroll, I just get another Wrothgar thing.
Actually, I think I'll just skip this whole tome thing. I just decided. I no longer care. It's worthless, and while it could have offered some fun and play direction, it was bady done, like companions. Like housing. Like jewellery. Probably like Tales of Tribute if I knew anything about that.
