Login Error - 301 & Login Timeout...

    I'm not ashamed to admit that I don't have much of a life outside of the quiet one I live at home, so playing ESO had become a very welcome ADDICTION in my life!

    Now I'm going through withdrawals.

    Got another Suggestion Email from them, asking me to change my "SET FULLSCREEN_v5" setting (in the UserSettings.txt file) from "2" to "1", only it was ALREADY saved at 1.

    I feel you there, I don't work I won't give anyone a sob story but I have become attached to this MMO, I just wish they would fix the problems, thinking maybe they shouldn't of forced an early release so fast! worked on what needed to and work on what needs to be done, they have an entire team there and I am ganna stop ranting lol

    I didn't mind so much the little things in the game that weren't working here or there. They were annoying or irritating in one way or another, but they didn't prevent me from enjoying the many other wonderful aspects of the game.

    NOW I HAVE NO GOOD TO GO WITH THE BAD, lol.

    Absolutely, like I meant earlier the other problems I could handle but not letting me login is a major disappointment. Truely feel let down and I am paying for a game I can not play o.o

    I was hit with this lingering login bug yesterday, could not log, waited for the scheduled server reboot, COULD log after the reboot, but after a connection drop on the very same place I got it the last time, I'm experiencing the lockdown AGAIN.

    Please, I don't want to sit out of the game I pay to play until your next server reboot. You need to address this bug RIGHT NOW, because in terms of severity, it is effin' Godzilla.

    This is stupid...seriously. T_T Probably one of the worst bugs I've ever seen in any MMO. Top 5 for sure.

    My name is Kevin and I'm here to request some information so we can look into this 301 error further. I understand how frustrating it can be to have a game crash repeatedly, I have been in your shoes. Can you please send us the host.developer log file located at this path (C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher)? After I receive this, I will pass this up to a technician who will begin looking for solutions. We hope to remedy this a fast as humanly possible. Thank you for you patience.

    LOL I got the same email. By the same dude.

    I still haven't gotten a response back. It's been 3 hours and counting since that last email. It's been 24 hours and counting since I last logged into the game.

    Yep. Sounds the same as me... It's *** how he asked for each different file over the course of 8 hours... like he didnt already know in the first email. I'm looking for a new game as we speak. Hurry up Camelot Unchained !

    I'm probably heading to Wildstar. I can get past the cartoony graphics. I actually had fun in the beta for the longest time.

    I was just a bigger ES fan. However, with this atrocious customer support and constantly getting [snip] on, I'm done.

    This is actually worse than SWTOR, and that's saying a lot. At least from my experience.

    I am having same issue for abour 4 hours allready. I got 2 reply from Zenimax support but 2 automated message with steps i told them i allready have done.. this is annoying!

    Man! I should have not logged out. I had trouble logging out, so I just Alt-F4'd. Now I can't log in.

    crap.. ya know what before the patch last night i did a quit instead of a log out and the timer went down.. screen went black.. and i waited a few and finally killed it by hand... is THAT what is causing this!?!?! but it lasted even though the server maintenance???

    my sister has a brand new computer and she cant even play on that, she gets nothing but a black screen when she tries to log in, yet I sit here day 2 with a *** login error

    Ya, just happened to me too and finally when I get some blasted free time to play. Im a little perturbed so I didnt bother looking for another thread .... but holy s^!t! How can an MMO let this happen to so many subs??

    I was praising their efforts with the defenses against bots and gold farmers but now .... this is bad. People will NOT pay if they cannot play ... wow, unacceptable.

    I get nothing but the FAQ resolve, which by the way does not resolve anything I am fully aware that they are actively working on this but actively we are paying for a game we can not log into, a game that I have no shame admitting I have an addiction to, so as a very dissatisfied costumer who is paying for a loved product I am highly disappointed. The numbers of this known issue continue to grow like my disappointment.

    This is happening to me right now, too. I was loading out of Balamath and screen never loaded so I ctrl-alt-del and ended eso32.exe then I get this login error. So, so incredibly lame. *sigh* :(

    This is exactly what I ran into tonight. What the heck is going on here? I've been playing on and off all weekend. Now I crash, do some other things and suddenly cannot log into the game?

    Yes this is exactly what is happening! everything was fine yesterday, had to force a shut down due to the loading screen freezing my computer and now this. so game works fine then doesn't so it can not be my computer as it was running fine, the problem is their end.

    Zenimax can recreate this problem by killing ESO.exe during a loading screen. The account get locked.
