Login Error - 301 & Login Timeout...

    Those people only moderate the forums. They do not handle postings or any other customer support. Their job is to patrol the forums and to help (somewhat) keep the peace and police the rules of the forums.

    Having said that, I agree that there should be some sort of update news to inform us about the current standing of the problem.

    you took the words out of my mouth, was just going to type that lol, had the same issue last weekend, and its still going on, and still no info at all about, really bad.

    This just started happening to me too...out of nowhere...playing this a.m. and this afternoon just fine...then couldn't transport, had to c/a/d to get out of game and boom...can't log in...jeebus...

    but I do think its smart of them to do "maintenance" on the site, so ppl cant unsub in rage, while they are "working" on the problem lol

    Yeah, when I first hit the maintenance page on the site login I thought maybe they were about to take the servers down to apply a patch, but it seems it's just a desperate attempt to stop rage-unsubs (while still not acknowledging the existence of the problem anywhere). Very mature, ZOS!

    And I just got an email from support on this very issue telling me to go the very page that is NOT available ATM for a work-around, something silly about signing a new Terms Of Agreement thing ... but the site is DOWN too...good golly...good golly...

    @Pad11 i got same mail + 2 other of useless guides . Even if you get access to your account on site, there is nothing on it concerning the "new TOS" . I tried everything and im now getting ignored for 2 complete days . Lucky me , i had time to unsub before they took the account service down.

    Funny, theyve been telling most of us to do that for oohhh .... 5-6 days now?? What really makes that hysterical, is that even when you do go to your account page ... you CANT sign/Agree/Accept the stupid ToS because there is no button/clickie/"Sign Here" or anything to agree to it lol.

    Lets hope they fix that today but more importantly, lets REALLY hope that it ACTUALLY has anything to do with us being able to log back in .... which I HIGHLY doubt but as Ive said before, Im willing to give it a ludicrous try.

    I really really like the game, and I can live with the bugs, all new games have them, and they will get fixed, but the thing that really p#ss me off, is the lack of communication, or rather non existent communication, and unhelpful CS, made several tickets since the launch, and didnt get any useful information back at all, same thing every time, copy/paste replies, that has nothing to do with the question asked

    Yeah that mean's next to nothing...being 'aware' of something and doing something about it are two very very very different things...So while I appreciate their acknowledgement of the issue, that's about as far as my appreciation goes...

    yeah I saw that post, but still, it was going on all weekend, and that was posted on the 25th, 3 days later, still no new information.

    I completely understand. I'm experiencing the same frustrations, but at least they're reportedly working on it. That's the best I can hope for at this point lol.

    Lets cross all appendages that our hopes are not hanging on signing this new ToS, that Im assuming is coming once they reload the Account page .... which, by the way, is still down and its post 3pm.

    Yeah, except that @ZOS_TristanK‌ does not acknowledge anything, he says they'll be "investigating what is going on" which is a pretty standard "we hear you" response to threads that grow large with people complaining, but every subsequent communication we got from ZOS CS indicated they fully believe we are all having trouble with our modems, or trying to login to lobbies when they're full. Meaning, no, they didn't acknowledge a broken login on server side problem. And albeit many promises of "passing this info to the dev team" have been made, we've yet to hear a single iota from said dev team that they are PROPERLY informed on the REAL issue.

    Okay, here's what I did.

    I switched to the EU Megaserver. Logged in with no issue, created a new character, and got into the Cells without a problem.

    Switch back to US Megaserver, no ability to login. I noticed in the development messages that it's having issues with the us.json and en.json.

    I had already done a complete client uninstall / delete directory / reinstall to make both US and EU client directories 100% in sync.

    This tells me that the issue is with my ability to log in is on the US megaserver's side.

    the strange thing is that I can log in to some of my chars, others I cant log on, ie, I have two chars in stormhaven, one I can play, the other I cant, just get infinite loadingscreen or "unknown error", had the same issue this weekend, but then I could play the chars that I now can not play

    nope, Im in the correct thread, since I often get error 301, and when I do get passed that, Im unable to log on some of my chars, and get infinite loading screen and then unknown error.

    Just chiming in as another person that is unable to log in. I get no error, nothing - just an infinite (I left it for over two hours) load screen before even getting to character select.

    yeah this is a good new. Almost sure they are fixing the login issue at the moment thats why it takes so long.

    They've also got megaserver issues (you can't cast spells in certain zones etc) so they may be getting diverted to that.

    The game is in such a bad state, and it looks like Zenimax are trying to hide it as there's very little visible communication about things.

    I was receiving a ton if immediate input back from CS until about 20 minutes ago as one person was trying to help me (via email)...now nothing...something's up.. they were telling me to change a code in the user setting re: the EULA # and everytime I did it, the client then asked me to sign it again but it still wouldn't log me on AND the usersettings got changed back...it's a mess...

    I realize that however that should have ended by now according to their own automated reply it was for 24 hours.

    Well 24 hours are up since I got the message what now?
