Login Error - 301 & Login Timeout...

Still unable to login since the "hotfix" that was supposed to fix the login issues. Can someone please let us know what the next step is now?? Do we have to wait until servers go down on Thursday or what? This is absolutely ridiculous.

Has anyone succesfully been able to resolve this error outside of them resetting the server? I've tried changing password, repairing files, deleting my entire "Live" folder, changing my IP address, disabling software firewall / windows firewall / router firewall, clearing DNS Cache, resetting entire modem/router... I'm out of things to try and I'm getting really unhappy.

    Oh man...I'm sorry for you. They restarted the server, so most of the ppl can login now, however they didn't fix the problem, so probably more and more ppl will have this timeout problem again. :(

    Sigh.... Would love to hear from a moderator if there is any hope of a resolution outside of a server restart..

    After the hotfix earlier I logged into the client with no problems and stayed logged in for hours.

    Just a few minutes ago I was in a building in Bangkorai doing quests when all of a sudden I get thrown to a loading screen, .......THAT NEVER ENDED.

    I Alt+F4'd out and tried logging back in.

    Timed Out.

    Tried Again.

    Error 301.

    I'll give it a shot but considering you've been giving it MANY shots, I doubt my results will be any different. *sighs*

    Thats a new one. I just deleted my ESO folder and doing a repair again. Guess we will see what happens.

    I don't ''get'' it either. I was in the game, playing, and have been playing for quite a few hours now. I've never experienced ANY of the issues people have been having with ESO. Not a one. And now out of no where ...

    POOF

    I don't blame you. If I still can't login by this time tomorrow I'll be canceling mine too. I've been getting increasingly dissatisfied and this is just plain ridiculous. 6+ days of numerous people unable to even login. You would think that would be cause for some sort of elevated response. From what I've read on the other posts it doesn't seem like they are giving this issue the attention it merits.

    Well, I honestly do believe they are giving it attention.
    The hotfix last night, for example....it was them trying to do something to fix errors as quickly as they could.

    Now, is the level of attempts at fixes that are turning into failures daunting?

    I would put being unable to even login to the game at about the top of the list of problems that would lead to subscription cancellations. I know they have a lot of in game bugs and issues they are working on currently but problems like this should take precedent, imo. But I may be a bit biased on that.

    Or an announcement, that this is a known issue and they are working on it. Or recommend the players not to kill the game if they have long/endless loading screens, first they should just try to wait.

    I've canceled mine as well.. there are too many continual issues for me right now. I'll be watching the patch notes and reading Reddit etc to see how their patches are working out, and I'll resub once things have improved. Right now I just can't justify paying money for a game that may lock me out completely at any moment, and for an unknown length of time, and that has various other issues.

    Yea that would help. Though in my case I was just dropped from the server 30 seconds after logging in and that was enough to throw me into account limbo.

    I'd been logged in and playing for HOURS when this randomly happened.

    I got a loading screen for no reason and had to force an exit.

    I'm sorry to say this, but it's not your problem, so you can't do anything else than wait. :\ I would suggest to play another game, if playing was your plan or do some other real life stuff.

    Yeah, I sort of had a feeling as soon as I saw that loading screen pop up out of no where.....

    It's probably why I'm not more mad than I normally would be. I KNEW I'd end up waiting and waiting and waiting for either a word from a ZoS representative, or a solution.

    WildStar beta is over already for now, otherwise I'd just go play that.

    @lenublet Same story with me. I've never had a single issue before this.

    I did get an email back on my ticket.
    It asked me to first log out of the game. XD
    Then asked me to sign the new ToS on the account site for ESO, only when I went to login there wasn't any 'new' ToS agreement to be signed.

    In fact, the ToS hasn't been updated since Jan 24th, 2014.

    ((Which makes me guess that it's just procedure they must follow first? Asking us to do stuff like this?))

    oh don't get me wrong I have had so many in game issues it's not funny anymore, and the constant getting stuck in there buggy graphics is ridiculous I have a lot I could whinge about but I don't, but not being able to login @Insanyti has me so disappointed.
