Nobody fishes. So why not get rid of the bait items in plants and undead mobs?

Madval✭✭✭I fish. I love fishing in every mmo. But I agree it's not well implemented in teso.
It's more like a placeholder for better improvment latter.
I need more loot from fish like extra things for special recipe of food or alchemy.
But really you can't program things like lot of money or things sellable with nice profits in fishing cause it will be bots paradise.
In wow at the time you made nice money while fishing. Looting gold or nice selling value stuff. They discarded all of this because they was tons of bots fishing everywhere ruining economie of the game and ruining fishing spot everywhere. I remember like fishing blue stuff, rare, but cool stuff. All errased.
Now you fish for nice alchemy or food recipe with nice bonus and nice achievment with title and nice fishing rod.
FFXIV fishing is nicely done too,fun and sometimes difficults, with nice fish for nice recipes

1) make looting worms mandatory in nodes
2) change fishing bait from 0g to1g.
everyone profits. even if im not a fan of picking them up, having a single stack of 30 worms get me 30 extra gold when i go shopping will at least give me reason to not destroy them.1 -
Elvent✭✭✭✭We should be able to fish anywhere we want instead of finding a node to fish in, make the nodes a rare fish or something...I don't like how linear fishing is in this game.
If being able to fish everywhere was allowed it would make the game feel more opened up. I'm surprised to see nobody else thinks this way, everybody is fine with having to find a node to fish out of, oh well glad you guys like it.1 -

They need to fix fishing yes, and I wouldn't argue against moving worms from plants to some other level 1 critter just to put it on part with all the other baits. I don't think they need to be removed from zombies.Fisher extraordinaire!

I like getting fishing lures off dead creatures and plants. It's an extra free item I can use later. I don't fish a lot, but I do fish sometimes and wouldn't want them to remove those items.
They should make the plant disappear after a 20 seconds though, if the jute/etc. Is looted and lures left behind.>.<_____/

I enjoy taking time out to fish. It's relaxing, allows me to take time to enjoy a sunsetting. The group I am with fish as well. Plus selling the fish brings a little gold. The honest way, btw.0
