A lot of concerns have been getting brought up. There's a concern that ZOS may get overwhelmed and brush some aside or ignore some of them. We hope that someone is keeping a list of the concerns but there's no way of knowing if this list exists or not, so I'll post one here. It would be nice if these are discussed whether or not you decide to change them.

In no particular order of frequency or importance, the concerns I see being brought up most are:

1. Templar Jabs & Rapid Strikes animation change

2. Oakensoul - many of the major buffs were changed to minor, while minor aegis, minor slayer, minor mending, and empower were added. How many more changes to this item should we expect? I say this because people dedicate entire builds and strategies to this item in the short amount of time it's been available. edit: ADDITIONALLY: part of what makes this mythic OP is the heroism, you changed it from major to minor heroism but all that did was make the ball groups run around longer before ult dumping people again. There needs to be removal of heroism as all you need for it to activate is your group member nearby to be in combat, maybe make it deactivate with battle spirit? this seems to be what people who are not myself are suggesting. The major issue: this mythic combined with balorghs gives devastating amounts of penetration (11500 at 500 ult) and spell/weapon damage (500 at 500 ult) for 12 seconds while allowing people to build tanky, and it needs to be addressed.
3. Radiating regeneration + Vigor - why didn't you nerf the amount of radiating regenerations & vigor that can be stacked? You decided to nerf the amount the spell heals instead and increased the tick rate from 1 second to 2 seconds. People can still be near invulnerable if they just get more people to use radiating regeneration & vigor. In fact, Vigor is as effective and hits more people in one cast than RR. Most people other than ball groups rarely have more than 2 radiating regeneration on them at a time, let alone a vigor other than their own. The ball groups are still able to tank and out-sustain siege weapons, which is often what people resort to because they are able to out-sustain everything else in existence. Players shouldn't have to rely on siege weaponry.
4. "sticky" DoT nerf to viable higher damage dealing DoTs- extending their duration while nearly halving the damage output. You decided that the buffs/debuffs during the duration of these dots was more important than the damage these dots deal themselves, community feedback says damage is important and all you did was mess with rotations. 5. Mara's Balm - there was content creator feedback that this shouldn't have been released in this state, with footage and deliberate drawn-out commentary. We see it in the game, released in that exact state, and we have no viable counters other than DK corrosive ulti to get through people who use it, or of course them being caught in an occult overload + vicious death zerg explosition. Why did you release it in an OP state and why are you deciding to nerf it two weeks later as opposed to sooner? edit: There's people (necros with their health-costing remove debuff ability) running around cyrodiil who can tank 20+ players and seige weapons and just laugh in peoples faces, and the fact that these players can operate seige and light seige on fire as they "troll tank" and stand on flags to capture them does in fact make this set gamebreaking in cyrodiil and even battlegrounds when utilized in this manner.

6. Increased accessibility to the game - people say your intention was to raise the floor and lower the ceiling. By introducing Mara's Balm in the broken state that it is in for PVP, and not really doing much in changing veteran dungeons (you did change vet trials evidently), you contradict yourself a bit and need to do more prompt tweaking and adjustments

8. Fake tanks and fake healers queuing for dungeons seems to be a persistent problem that even I was ignoring but I see this topic come up a LOT.

9. dungeon/group finder not working properly. I have personal experience with this as do others. If I queue 3 people as a healer, tank, and dps, we will never find the fourth person to dps even if it's a random, whereas if we queue as a healer and tank, and tell the dps to queue separately, it's instant. Additionally, finding someone after someone leaves isn't working as intended even if it's a dps that's needed. Another issue is queuing for specific dungeons, but getting placed in a dungeon we did not choose. The final issue is that if someone rejects the ready check, you don't actually get placed back into queue despite it saying you are in queue, you always have to leave queue and rejoin edit2: after further testing, this occurs on instant-queue selections like tanks, not on DPS choices. edit3: but wait! there's more. Now we have a bug (I personally encountered this and can go back in my footage and provide evidence on request if you send a forum PM to me) that people get kicked from the dungeon immediately upon entering- I can only confirm this is the issue because the tank and healer queued together, and the healer said that the tank did not leave, but was insta kicked from the dungeon. We attempted to reinvite this tank but it was impossible. Another issue I've seen (and is reported in one of the topics below) is that everyone except 1 person will get into the dungeon, and that 1 person will show as offline to the others, but for whatever reason we have to DM the person to enter the dungeon or to change zones so they can see that they are in a group. A final issue that is also described is that in rare instances after a dungeon and returning home, you will be in an older version of your group with everyone offline, it will also show you as queued for a dungeon and you will be unable to leave the group or the queue until you log out (I don't know if I have footage of this one, but I'd be willing to go back into my footage and check if this is still the case).

It might have something to do with companions being summoned, or the dc'd/leaving player being shown as in zone still.

my personal concerns and more obscure concerns:

a. Dark convergence nerf. I was fine with the frequency pre-nerf, but I feel you are nerfing the wrong thing. Primarily because making a set proc only 25 seconds renders it to near uselessness, but you missed the mark on this one majorly. Here is the issue with dark convergence and you didn't fix it:

in PVP, you do an AOE, it procs, and everyone converges onto a single point, straight to the middle and very ult dumpable and very abusable. In PVE you have it so they are kinda pulled toward the center, and they are interrupted so long as they aren't CC immune- some NPCs even roll away or get distance from the center and aren't hit by the effect. Just like with the radiating regeneration "nerf" all you made it is so that groups just need to have more people running this set to abuse it. The frequency was fine, at least give us at least 5 seconds back, but why is this set behaving differently in PVE and PVP gameplay?
edit: below we discuss hitboxes on NPCs vs Players, that NPCs are getting pulled to the center but only at the edge of their hitbox. There are solutions to this issue in PVP but it's not getting addressed. Additionally, there is a suggestion to nerf Rush of Agony as the visual effect of Dark Convergence is the only thing that made people notice it.

d. What do you have to say to the people who feel like you are locking endeavors behind a paywall? I personally don't mind- your product, your decisions, but many without all the DLC express a feeling of discontent.
e. Some players are dissatisfied with the communication being received in regard to changes. Some are upset about communication in general. Some seek mere acknowledgment that a change has occurred and that it's not a bug (like Lightning HAs losing a tick). While I don't agree that some of these are top priority concerns, others express this in spades and I would be remiss if I were to not acknowledge them, which is why I can empathize with what having to deal with these sorts of topics can do. How can you help to bridge this gap?

    Off the top of my hat...
    • Wardens getting penetration from Advanced Species rather than the old % modifier, thus being too close to overpenetration in many group PvE scenarios. (Don't know how much of a problem that is in practise, but I have heard that concern a lot from Wardens).
    • Rapid Strikes animation change sucks just as much as Templar's (it lacks "oomf" and doesn't look threatening at all, almost like light attacks)
    • Mist Form should offer at least a little protection in PvE rather than nothing. Adjusting it to 45% less damage taken from players and 30% less damage taken (for a sum of 75% in PvP and 30% in PvE) should be perfectly fine.
    • A really old concern that I am always going to bring up again: Bosmer trading in flavorful, lore-accurate stealth for borderline useless detection goes against everything we know about Bosmer in the history of the franchise, even ESO's own lore. The list of arguments for changing it back to stealth is endless but there are no arguments for keeping detection. Change it back!

    I would really like them to fix the compass, which has been broken for a couple updates now at least, and still shows many locations as incomplete that are complete.

    • I wish Wardens had more pets than just Bears
    • I would like Companions to interact with each other when you are grouped with someone.
    • Cloaks we all know the engine can handle it now and if you are in the NO CAPES camp just don't wear one
    • Public Dungeons should be Restructured to instanced mainly because most public dungeons are empty
    • Delves should be instanced or at least have a option as there is a lot of greifing like boss camping that goes on
    • More dynamic content overland the game is just too static and it kills Immersion
    • Consequences the justices system needs to be restructured to offer real consequences, likewise things like cursed items, being hated by a faction/NPC should not be something taken lightly.
    • Dynamic places like Inns and Taverns make these places desirable locations by always having something going on instancing could be used for this very effectively.
    • Let us build a fire...this should not be a super rare memento.

    I could think of a lot more but this is off the top of my head.

    Either make Empower actually useful again or rework skills (such as solar barrage) that offer a useless buff.

    I wish they leave Dark Convergence and Plaguebreak as they are, to me these are now probably the best aoe sets for pve after patch.

    I love to do solo aetherial celestial rifts in Craglorn with Plaguebreak, Venomous Smite and Sellistrix on a stamplar bow/bow.
    Dark Convergence would be nicer if it applied status effect to proc occult overload to bomb everything, like Plaguebreak now does, but heck, we cannot have everything.

    Cooldowns 15 - 25 sec is perfectly fine to me.

    Maybe need to test Plaguebreak with Dark Convergence and Sellistrix to see how they work together :).

    Completely agree about Dark Convergence. Just make it behave differently with Battle Spirit active. It was perfectly fine in PvE. Maybe it could have even lesser cooldown since it's used mostly on trash to burn it faster. Nothing wrong with that, just pure fun.
    To be the Chosen One really sounds like lots of fun,
    But in the end you'll just be someone's lunch

    They are pulled to the center in PVE as well.. incase you haven't noticed mobs have larger hitboxes or the radius around them that is them to hit or be damaged. Thats is why in pve some mobs tend to not appear to stack tight but they are just as tight..

    The real issue with the DCON nerf is it wasn't DCON at all that was killing people, it was just the only one they could see and blame. RUSH OF AGONY is the real problem as its barely visible effect, 8sec cooldown and NO CC IMMUNITY so a group of 12 can charge in 1sec delays and pull everyone back in 12x over and over and over and over and over forever and dropping ults! DCON was just covering up all the ROA's going on so u couldn't see it!

    Then what needs to happen is for PVP there's an invisible circle in the middle, or a totem, that players get pulled to. it makes no sense that the edge of the hitbox is what they get pulled to, and players having no hitbox = stack all in same spot. NPCs are pulled relatively toward the center, the center of their body isn't in the center, if that makes sense.

    All the class changes are bad, especially templar, and the animation is horrendous. Please undo all the combat changes in U35.

    Just pinging you @ZOS_Kevin as this thread seems rather constructive. Been playing since 2015 and this is the first time ive ever considered taking a hiatus or leaving eso all together. And the last comment we got from the devs on the player feedback was a very disrespectful and insulting comment about “knee-jerk” reactions. I hope that zos as a whole will listen to played feedback in the next update and rectify the mistakes from U35

    my main concern is that the likelihood of this entire thread being ignored is astronomically high even though it addresses perfectly majority of the current issues that have been discussed in organized and digestible fashion

    i have no idea what is going on with the developer team but whatever is holding them back needs to stop

    Fake tanks and fake healers likely won't be fixed.
    ZoS doesn't want to make requirements to queue for tonk or heals since it'll inevitably turn off a lot of options for players who want them. Groups doing 4 DPS runs for instance, or off brand weird set ups like my vampire sap tank who wears mostly medium armor.

    Personally, I think the obvious solution would be to not encourage jaded 2000+ hour veterans to go do fungal grotto 1 with three other people once a day.
    It's just a grind they want to get over with ASAP, and the best way to do that is for this player to queue up as a tank and murder the whole dungeon themselves. They do it gladly. Other players who don't have the guts to are happy to see them and get it over with asap. Heck, I'm happy to see them typically, and I want the practice to stop.

    Pretty much with these issues,

    Another to add to this list is;
    Why are they so obsessed with forcing magicka sorcerers into only being zoo keepers to be viable in pve. The class is literally called "Sorcerer", not "Summoner", so why are all the BiS builds and all the buffs for magicka sorcerer always only ever focused on the pets and never for the other playstyles that sorcerer used to be able to do.

    Not to mention for pvp, the only way to play the class now is to stack shields and hope you can survive long enough to wear down enemies in a burst heavy meta, since you deal practically no damage due to being forced into focusing on max mag to make shields worth running, or you just attempt to streak away from everyone and hope they don't run a gap closer or have celerity cp and swift trait, since everything else in the class kit got nerfed into oblivion over successive patches (to the point that magsorc was crutching on crystal weapon + bound armaments last patch as everything else in their kit was not good enough to run outside of niche/meme builds and nothing got buffed for this patch).

    I also wanted to state that while comments in this post may be valid concerns, it helps greatly to see an entire topic created and community discussion occurring to place these on the list. There is a lot out there to sift through, but the purpose of this topic is to sift through a lot of what is out there to highlight the bulk of what ZOS should touch on.

    I do not expect ZOS to post in this topic unless it's for forum moderating issues. Although it would be nice to receive some official responses for all the people who have put time into creating topics, I believe there will be more people criticizing the answers than accepting them. While a little bit of outreach can go a long way, there is simply too much here for them to respond to all at once, and we have to respect and trust that the dev team will make informed decisions while doing some live testing of their own.

    This post is my attempt to help ZOS out by packaging the concerns I perceive cropping up ever so often, so they can go through them individually and address them.

    Very minor addition but buff max resources.

    Getting emp these days you don’t even feel the extra max stats for damage. The healing, ult gen, and max health are all that matter. I remember when having 53k mag on a plar or sorc made you hit like a freight train. Now it’s just a wasted stat allocation.

    I can't say I agree that it helps.
    A single person designating themself the official shop steward won't lend credence to anything - it might amplify concerns if enough people post in the thread but, ultimately, it's just your personal opinion as to what you've read (which is kinda the point of the community manager after all, to read everything).

    I'm not saying it does harm, but I don't think it particularly helps to sum up what you personally feel is everybody's opinion (especially when there is a thread entitled 'why i like the new jabs')
    The other concern is a lot of your points focus on PvP, to the extent I don't think it's really a PvE issue at all. You've thrown in the jabs animation but everything else seems focused on PvP. Perhaps re-titling it 'what I personally think is wrong with PVP atm based on how I have personally read the forums'?

    So over the weeks the same topics keep coming up and impassioned arguments keep getting made opposing changes. There are those out there with ulterior motives for keeping changes as they are as they are beneficial to a meta. I attempted to break down some of the concerns learned from other topics and incorporate feedback as needed. I am not saying that this list is not flawed, there are things on there that even I don't agree with, but I do try to detail things that have been discussed in detail in other topics on this forum.

    For example, you may have someone saying we need a better matchmaking system to punish people who instantly leave, but then you'll have people saying to the contrary that they have limited time to play and no they shouldn't punish leavers and make compelling paragraphs about their kids and real life issues and theoretical glitches that lower their rank, but fact remains that there needs to be a better system.

    Zenimax doesn't have the resources to make and maintain a robust known bugs list, and I don't think the role of a community manager is quite exactly what you said it is.

    I agree with some, but also see a lot of personal bias in the list.
