    Vote-kick is OK and opens the way for bonuses to needed roles in the random dungeon selector. Giving a bonus to rewards for tanks when they are in short supply, for example, but being able to /kick those who fraudently queue as a tank just to get a group. This can be further balanced and made more positive by adding a commendation/rec system wherein each party member can commend one other group member at the end of a run with a random group. Plenty of time to slip those additional features in before the update goes live on PC, right? :)

    (Oh, and how about getting an extra reward of gold and add in a bonus to raising the undaunted skill line for doing five randoms in a day or something like that?)

    Sorry, but I didn't say vote-kick needed anything else, but that vote-kick was necessary in order to have a feature like bonuses for roles in demand at any given time for the random dungeon queue.
    Yes to offering rewards for roles filled but let's think about it for a sec .....if ppl are choosing roles they can't fulfill now, the effects of adding bonuses for those roles results in more kicks and longer waits cause ppl will choose the bonus role (let's say a dps choosing healer or tank) and had not skills or gear for either....vote to kick....now we wait, and wait, and wait...
    I've thought about it plenty. You already wait, wait, wait because people are either not running as tanks or they fake it and then the group is stuck with them unless crown dumps them. One player chooses whether the fraud stays. And what if the fake tank got the crown when the random group was made? With a bonus for playing less common roles, more people will want to queue for it, but with vote kick frauds are weeded out. There won't just be more frauds wanting the bonuses but people actually wanting to tank, so, frauds learn they will get kicked (fewer of them) and legit tanks become more common so that groups form faster.

    Commendation/Rec system- NO. Flat out No. That's what the kick is for, if u do good, you stay and don't get kicked.
    You don't have to like it or want it, but other players do. "Not getting kicked" isn't a reward, and I and other players tired of elitism will refuse to run in a group of stuck up players who think it is. Recs are nice ways to appreciate and encourage other players. If a commendation system is added you don't have to use it when the run ends, just hiss at the rest of your group that they are lucky none of them got kicked as your way of recognizing their effort. :tongue: Believe it or not, some people want to be friendly, helpful, and kind to other players they run with in random dungeons :)

    You're cutting off thoughts in the way you reply and so your reply isn't to the thought of my entire comments. It's basically cutting someone off before they finish which comes off the wrong way as it's not your intent.

    In complete I'm writing:
    -I think the vote system is all that is "needed" in context to this thread.
    -I'm not saying other changes aren't desired...."need" vs want or desired vary dramatically.
    -wait times vary for all of us....but for sure, if you add any system that requires additional input, it delays the party members leaving the group therefore exponentially it does increase the wait time for others already in queue as some players will ring a PUG, exit and then requeue for another soon after if not immediately after.
    -rewarding roles while it will impact those who fit your definition of said roles, it also will further encourage those you complain about becaus now there is a double reward. (Lower wait time and an additional bonus). The problem that causes players to choose the role that you identify as a problem and a commends/rec system will not change this, what happens is you seperate the player base which is an over reaction to the issue you describe. Again...I have ideas that differ from yours and I don't have the answer but specifically being apart of many games like this as well as beta and real time testing and on the back end working with recommend set stems on larger networks like Xbox live.....I can tell you that those systems create more problems rather than resolving the issue you describe.

    It's not ideal but it would better be resolved by locking roles to a set group of skills and spells on the bar that once a role is selected, those weapons and skills are locked until the queue hits and the encounter is completed....but there are negatives to that as well but I think it's more logical and negates the need of any rec system.

    Does this mean the only way I can preview what an armor looks like is to have that motif available for sale in the Crown Store and use its menu (as opposed to the crafting station)?

    I guess it's better than hoping someone updates ESO fashion, but I think this really belongs to the crafting station menu, accessible from a button to see what the motifs we have would actually look like on our characters.

    A forum user has made a website with all the armor in pictures - I just cannot remember the name at the moment, but it was recently on the forums, so if you go back in the thread list, you will find it.

    Might have been this thread about the update to such a website that you saw.

    I'm really excited about the district conquerer aspect, but why is there nothing about the duel function?

    @ZOS_GinaBruno could u just clarify, will it be implemented with that dlc or do we still have to wait until we can test our skills in a honorable duel against our alliance borthers?

    Well to sum up everyone's questions really. How will all veteran stuff be effected? Costumes for example, armor, weapons, enemies, veteran dungeons etc etc. How will the game move forward? Since first it was veteran 12 then 14 then 16. So will there be like level 60 then 70 and so on? If all veterans will just go back to level 50 again.

    Im sure someone from Zenimax will in detail answer and explain everything eventually. But obviously were all curios about it now.

    True, but I wouldn't put it past them to nerf it or make something better of the other ones. It's still questionable.

    While I am looking forward to feature long requested such as extra character slots (something I do think it is OK to charge us crowns for), the motif preview option really should be in the base game. I don't think that quality of life improvement is something we should have to spend money on.

    Just posted a clarification in a different thread, but this means you'll be able to preview Crown Store motifs on your character before you purchase them.
    Yep! It's happening in the next update, for real. :)

    Any news of mid game character customization? Like a barber shop, character editor, etc? In this update, or the next big update?

    Ill agree I feel it will be brought in buggy and the current vet system seems to be fine Now having to Use Champ points to wear gear will of course mean there planing to add more of a grind feel to the game. But maybe thats how they feel they have to approach the end game here.

    What will VR be replaced with? Do you just login and see all your characters at level 50? Or will you see level 54 instead of VR4? Will there be problems with wearing gear or weapons sets, or will they be totally reworked or just disappear? This is like a major thing that should have some details given. Are people currently leveling VR ranks for nothing? This is going to be interesting.

    Just being able to Vote to Kick is enough. If the player wants to learn, they will do so.

    LOL seems dungeon groups are hard on Pugz as much as PvP groups are on letting them in.

    All future progression will be based on champion points after hitting level 50.
    Veteren gear level requirements( Like a VR 16 chest piece) will be replaced with champion point requirements. (Like a CP 300 Chest Piece)

    If it's good or not will depend on how it's done. But according to their history, it will be buggy no matter how it's done. I probably won't even login the first few days just in case.

    My question is with crafting sets from DB onward with the removal of VR.

    Let's say level 50 gear starts at 100 CP(just for example).

    Let's also say that the highest piece of CP gear for crafting is CP 501(for example).

    I'm wondering if the higher gear you go to craft(At level 50), will it require more mats to craft it?
    Example for crafting CP gear
    100 CP = 100 silk per piece
    150 CP = 125 silk per piece
    200 CP = 200 silk per piece
    500CP = 350 silk per piece
    Remember the jump from VR15 to Vr16 gear? It's like 10 times more mats required than VR15 stuff.

    As well, would this mean instead of needing 8 wax, alloy or rosen, will this number required for improvements be raised the higher the gear level is too?
    Example for improvements
    100 CP = 8 wax per piece
    150 CP = 10 wax per piece
    200 CP = 12 wax per piece
    500 CP = 24 wax per piece

    That...is going to suck if that's the case.
