In fairness, I suspect @ZOS_GinaBruno is sitting there, like a nervous wreck, wanting to post something but knowing that she isn't allowed and has to follow company line.

I don't think so either. They are very, very good at concepts, but when it comes to actually implementing them they either have no idea how, or realize how overwhelming it would be.
All of that talk about spellcrafting, Justice PvP, removing VR ranks.... I don't plan on seeing any of that.

Not all people with OCD are obssessed with grammar and not all people who value correct language have OCD.Titansteele wrote: »I do not suffer from OCD but "Have Paul Sage left ZoS?" as a title for thread this must be killing those of you that do.

^ This. One of the main reasons I decided to stick with this MMO was for the promise of the PVP Justice system, Now I am really concerned this will never happen.

Awesome.
He was the Lead Content Designer for ESO. His job was to lead the creative development of zones, dungeons, trials, etc.Pendrillion wrote: »There was some hubub going between ZOS and Bethsoft. Pete Hines being there was a certain indicator that things didn't go according to plan
Don't read more into Pete Hines being there than might be the case. Pete Hines is the spokesman for the publisher and it is part of his job to be there for major announcements like Tamriel Unlimited. I would have been more concerned if he had phoned it in, not showed up, or delegated to an underling.
Paul Sage might be someone who likes to move around. He was not with ESO to start, but came in mid-development. He may be the type that likes to have a big job to do and really does not like diving into the endless fine tuning. I have worked with people like this.
I am wondering who was Creative Director before him.

The grammar is your GIF is wrong
Edit: Also spelling
Can one be OCD about pointing out the obvious?

I think it's the other way round; Gina as assistant community manager is something of a political commissar and her job is to make sure rank and file follow party company line.
EDIT: back to the topic though. Can I have Paul's gear?
It's nearly always but not quite ever soon.Elijah_Crow wrote: »ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »We can confirm that Paul left ZOS after the launch of ESOTU on console. Thank you Gina. Looking forward to hearing from Rich Lambert soon. Soon (tm). Hey, today is soon isn't it?
Just because someone left the company doesn't mean they left because of the product alone. Having worked in the entertainment industry, people are always in flux. People chase dream jobs, new opportunities and follow new projects that interest them. Sometimes people just need a change after spending years working on the same project.
People forecasting doom and gloom may be jumping at the clouds.
I see you don't understand the function of community people.
They are absolutely the lowest ranking people in any mmo operation (with the possible exception of CS agents and QA testers).
Their job is to be a liaison between DEVS and player community and to keep the PLAYERS in line on the forums.

Pay negotiable.Looks like lots of job openings at zenimax if there some of the complainers that think they can do better. http://www.zenimaxonline.com/
