Jackwagon. Insulting the poster. Its the same thing. Calm down. I am fishing to see if zos community manager will weigh in.
I never had to put an easy button on that guys mom.

It is possible.
But you would buy the disease, not the actual condition.
You'd still need to go to the shrine, and use the portal there, and do the quest.
Also, it has to be hell-a expensive in crowns. like 4k crowns, at least.
It fits the convenience side of the crown store, and it will not affect anything, since most players bite for free anyway.

Right. And then when players are happier and the sky does not fall, the game will move on just fine.

That's all I'm advocating for. Nothing else.
Just a convenience item.
Some posters are acting like it would be the Apocalypse.
Infections in the crown store would be a win win.
If you look back on my posts you'll see that I haven't taken a position either for adding bites to the Crown Store or against it. What I take issue with is you breaking the forum rules. your actions in this thread tell me that your opinion should always be ignored.mrskinskull wrote: »You've proven that your opinion should be ignored on any matter.mrskinskull wrote: »mrskinskull wrote: »

Reason isn't working with some hold outs. So I'm shifting rhetorical tactics. Humor and light cajoling. Calm down.
BTW if you had a reasonable argument as to why infections in the crown store aren't a win win, you would have stated it.
Instead acting offended and fragile over a playful jab indicates two things ,
I'm a total jerk,
And
I'm totally right.
Cheers.

I know right.
I think these guys arguing against infections in the crown store are smart enough to know I am right.
I think their just arguing to argue.
Its fine with me as long as zos gets a chance to consider the pros and cons of infections in the crown store being a win win.
I floated the idea half expected to be talked out of infections in the crown store being a win win.
As any casual forum readers have seen, there are no real arguments against it.
It would stop the trolls.
It would serve a portion of the players demands.
It would help to replace revenue lost by the b2 p shift.
Oh I guess infections in the crown store are a win-win-win.
mrskinskull wrote: »I don't understand the logic of these long timers who want to complain about viable financial options in a game they like.
Actually, this is not a viable financial option, unless they decide to remove the ability to bite other players, which I think would really be terrible since it implies that one can GET infected, but the infection is for some reason not virulent once it infects a player (it can't be passed on).
Even if we get a constant influx of new players, the first wave of people who purchase the crown store "infections" would be able to infect the next wave, who could infect the next wave, etc. And because the game would be saturated with vampires and werewolves, the only way to give bites would be for free (which happens even without crown-store-purchased infections)...which directly conflicts with purchasing the infection from the crown store. The only way to ensure that people would buy from the crown store would be to remove the passive that allows passing the infection to another player, meaning that you could:
A) Become infected by an NPC (which so many people find JUST IMPOSSIBLE OMG)
Purchase the infection from the crown store (Woohoo! Easy!)
No. Just no. You'd have to remove a function of werewolves and vampires just to get people to buy? We don't want them to start removing things from the game so that they can add them back in the crown store. And don't start the "slippery slope" argument with me--this would set an actual precedent for them to do just that.

@mrskinskull you should probably read the forum rules. Specifically the part about not throwing around insults and attacking other posters. As it is, you're most likely going to get banned and get this thread locked.

Again, go back and read my posts. I'm not arguing for it or against it. I haven't taken a position. In other threads I have strongly argued against anyone ever charging for a bite, and advised people to report all of the bite scammers. I also give people free bites all the time on PC (I don't play on console). What I take issue with is you and your attitude. The way you've been acting in this thread has no place on these forums.mrskinskull wrote: »@mrskinskull you should probably read the forum rules. You can't protect the bite trolls forever.
You defending the actions of con men lying and stealing from new players is deplorable.
This petty attempt to keep your cottage industry of lies and bite trolling is obvious to us all.
Nice try and your days are numbered.
