    Its obvious they know the issue and they just want you to be busy and feel special that it will work. That admin post dont make a difference.

    So,

    DMZ didn't work.
    Enabling ICMP didn't work.
    Completely disabling the firewall in my router is showing success so far .. no disconnects in about 1.5 hours -- probably the longest I've gone.
    Something seriously wonky with whatever they're doing -- considering I've never had any problem with any game or pc software in years.

    So I was playing wireless this entire time and experiencing the same problems that everyone else has posted about:

    1 - Getting booted out every 5 minutes, then being told to make sure I have a valid internet connection.
    2 - Game play freezing mid battle. Looks funny winding up for a great sword charge and getting frozen mid animation, only to get booted off and log in to find my dead body.
    3 - Game crashed 100% of the time when in or near Davon's Watch
    4 - Multiple failed attempts to log in, often met with UI errors, server time outs, or plain failure.

    I read about and researched posts recommending port forwarding (and also read posts warning against doing this for good reason), changing primary and secondary DNS settings and MTU settings. Even tried some of this, but nothing worked.

    Was about to give up and take a vacation from the game, but as a last ditch effort wired my connection. BOOM. Problem solved. Very first log in with a wired connection was met with a UI error and a server time out, but the 3rd log in (and every log in afterwards) has been lighting fast. The game is super responsive and for the most part lag free. I haven't tried any full scale PVP battles yet, but since wired, I've played 3 crash free sessions of 3 hrs, 2.5 hrs, and 4 hrs on Thurs, Fri and Sat night respectively. Game is also smooth and crash free while in crowded places such as Davon's Watch. Before it would crash 100%.

    Looks a little ridiculous running a 50ft cable from my office to the living room, but it's a quick fix for now.

    Who knows if my connection will stay like this, as it looks like the next game breaking maintenance is scheduled for the PS4 on July 8th, but for now.....it's nice to be able to play again.

    I hope this works for others as well.

    @samuraidoc I've never had a single problem with lag. Which is what irritates me the most. The game runs perfectly. It just crashes for no reason at all.

    Yeah, same here -- no lag, everything works fine and then just disconnects.

    However, I disabled my firewall -- and the game works now. I don't know if I really consider this a solution -- routers come with firewalls for a reason ...
    And I don't know why port forwarding or creating a DMZ for my PS4 didn't solve the problem.

    @sadler66 I wouldn't consider that a fix. I work for HP and disabling my firewall... It's not worth sabotaging my entire network just to play a game.

    I did receive an email that GameStop will be buying ESO for console for $50 if I sell it to them by the 12th. I will be taking them up on that deal if this issue isn't fixed by then.

    Yea I'm having this same issue. I know it isn't my connection because all my other games work fine online. I think it's ridiculous that we should have to adjust our connection in order for this game to even be playable. What kind of mmo doesn't work with wireless connection???? And the same part is that I'm really enjoying myself with the little play time I get which has been an hour and a half at one time so far!!! Please get this fixed...

    No use. Zenimax takes us for granted so much that they won't even pretend to acknowledge this issue.

    Completely ridiculous. No customer service whatsoever. A real company that cared about it's pipeline of money would look after it's customers. They would reply to a problem (that's obviously a big problem) and try to fix it.

    But no. The most commented/viewed thread under the PS4 maintenance section is completely and utterly ignored.

    No reason I should have to change my network or drop my security to play this game. Other people don't have the issue. Other games work just fine. In fact all other games work just fine. Why can some of us not stay logged in?

    Had this issue since day 1. It will now be a month in a couple days.

    Will be selling my game to gamestop this weekend and I haven't sold a game back since ps1/snes days. Sad.

    I'm playing it at my friends house. Same ISP. Same settings. No issues at all.

    Worst customer service. Worst IT help department. This is just the worst experience I've ever had playing a game. And what's worse is that I've been the guy waiting years for this game to come out.

    Pre ordered it for PS4 the day it came out and they don't give a [snip] about me.

    Ive had my fair share of problems as well, before the update i never even got the "Unable to connect" deal, would aqctually just give me the error code ce-34878-0 or whatever through playstation. I contacted playstation so many times, they have no idea wtf is going on as well, ive reconfigured my system too many times to do it again... this is sad. For everyone having this problem, i really and strongly do believe it has to do with running on a crappy wifi connection like myself. But sometimes i disconnect at the WORST times (Pull on a boss, or initiating any form of combat, and as well as entering towns like Stormhaven/Daggerfall areas).

    Ive yet to really connect my ps4 directly to the wire because its not really possible where i live, but i do strongly believe it has to do with a drop in connection and ur game cant just lag you for 5 secs instead of "uh oh not strong enough goodbye". Ive read through and it seems alot of people cant even play, i myself have reached Vr3 with minor problems, sometimes unplayable, sometimes im lucky. If more people can confirm if they are hacving this error on wifi would help!

    I have Xfinity comcast as well, maybe they just suck lol. But even so, even the slight loss of data transfer over wifi can cause the game to lag out. Because from what i noticed i can tell right off the bat when im going to DC, usually when you DC in a game (ones ive played) you leave off RIGHT when you DCed, even if you moved. In this game when i DC (Use of abilities gets weird, i can roll away no sweat) my character leaves off where i rolled or moved to. I dont know if that made sense but i find it a little weird, its like i dont really cut off till it actually goes to the logo screen, yet i can move around for maybe 20-30s while the world around me is still, and ill log on where i put myself...

    I am having the same problem. Constant disconnects, yet no lag. This game has not worked for me since I bought it. I am starting to think that if they cannot give me the service they promised when I purchased the game, then I should get my money back. All of it. For the game, and the worthless crowns that are useless as you cannot stay logged on long enough to enjoy playing any of the goodies you payed for. I had previously thought E/A had the worst customer service ever for SWTOR, but these guys here actually beat them out for lack of giving a care, customer interaction and lack of communication. This thing is broke on the Ps4, and Zenimax knows it. Funny thing is that they are still taking money for it. That would be considered fraud in some circles... but not in the game community where ripping off the customers and then turning your backs on them is becoming such a commonplace thing it has spurned its own line of memes.

    There is no way I am going to run a fifty foot wire across my house for my old ass to trip on, nor am I going to lower my firewall to play this hot mess. That would be just plain stupid. I also am not going to spend hours on end filling out applications and complaints for an already known and HUGE problem that this company has no intentions of answering either. I should not have too. That is just using age old distraction tactics. I don't want a bone, I want this game I spent 60+ dollars on and a subscription fee for to work. Plus, time is money, and I have already spent enough of both trying to get this game to operate. You should be paying us for working out the bugs that you all can't seem to fix.

    Zenimax should not have released this on console unless you could make it work correctly. There is simply no excuse for this, when every single darn Ps4 has the same specs. Don't even start with the wireless or router line, cause mine work just fine for everything else I play and do online.

    I am tired of getting kicked off only to have to res myself on relog, then pay for the repairs, take the time to get back to the area I got punted on, ect, EVERY ONE TO TEN MINUTES!

    Fix it, or kiss my sub buh-bye. Oh, and if I leave, the two others I play with who have paid subs will leave as well. You can also be assured that I will never buy anything else that has this companies name attached to it.

    ESO would be such an awesome game for the Ps4, if only it worked.

    I'm still crashing as well. Every 5 - 10 minutes. The megaserver patch on Monday 7/6 did nothing. As well as the patch today 7/8. It's not even listed as a known issue. Although others (as this forum can attest to) are having the same issue. Some folks in the XBOne are having this issue as well.

    Been getting this for the last few days every 20 minutes or so, me and a friend i isually play with have stopped playing altogether now because of this. We'll be playing normally then BOOM we wont be able to attack,sneak,logout or anything. After a minute or so we're kicked out with the notification 'unable to connect to game server. Make sure you have a valid internet connection' all other devices are connected perfectly so it's not an issue with my internet
    Should probably mention that I'm on PS4, but before you say 'it's sony blah blah' i can play EVERY other game i own online without ANY issue. Please, fix this.

    Same...doesn't look like I'll be playing this game anymore because of this. I'm doubtful that it'll ever be resolved -- all the responses I've seen related to this issue all punt to either PSN maintenance or a user problem. It won't get fixed if it doesn't get acknowledged.
