DK's are tanky, that's it. They can't hit for beans aside from 2h skills, which anyone can use.
Sorcs can shield stack, hit like a truck, then bolt halfway across the map in seconds. I've killed my fair share of them, but they are by far the biggest pain in the ass.

Well; if we go by average players, there are a lot of easy to kill sorcs. I generally am not worried about most of them, but you'll know it when you run into a good one. That can be said about any class, really. Just the really good sorcs really stand out to me. NBs sometimes too, from stealth.

While i don´t think there as an OP class in general personally i think its nightblade bc out of all classes it offers the most versatility in terms of grp and solo play and the ability to play magica and stamina (alliance rank 24 needed) based.

NBs are definetly the strongest class in pvp right now, and have been for quite sometime too.

Sorcs aren't easy kills anymore, so they're the "OP" class now. Don't judge a class based on its exploiters. Every class can be devastating with the right setup and situation, and every class can be taken down just the same (again exploiters are a different topic). Sorcs can be pretty bad in PvP and very annoying shield-stacking blinkers, but chain-fearing NB's can aggravate people too, as can the tanky DK, and the super healer Templar.

I never really had a problem killing most DK before when they were strong, they definitely are more grounded now. I think they deserve the second highest rating, but Sorc should really be at the top. Before 1.6 i knew some good Sorcs (between dueling and open world), and back then i thought they were still a strong class (obviously overshadowed by DK). I always recommended Sorcs, since there is a lot of utility there (even now for stamina users, and the lack of stamina based skills ironically). There is a reason so many Sorc players made Alt DK in the past, and now everyone is switching back to Sorc. Lots of people will just play whatever gets them the most success at the time.

I think NB and Templar should be about neck and neck, a healer designed class and a damage type class. Magicka NB is still very strong, many cloaks and fears on-hand. Stamina NB is in a strange spot depending on how you build it. But a lot more viable now for burst and staying alive, especially at rank 24. Stamina based Templars can be tough to fight, and they are even somewhat limited in ultimate choice and available burst. Tank specs of both classes, can be hard to kill.

They need to ground Sorc a little more, but the real issue goes beyond Sorc or any one class.

Former DK here, can confirm. Sorcs were always as good as prenerf DKs, and after DKs got nerfed into oblivion you might as well just play Sorc.

lol, so wrong. DK's were and still are the direct counter to most sorc damage with RS, even after the nerf they can still spam it forever and reflect 90% of all sorc damage back at them. Stam and Magicka DK's spam RS to no end still.

Voted for Sorc but NB is also deadly. Though Sorc has upper hand because reasons.


Also I don't see anymore reasons to DK has 272 votes. They are history now. Only maybe good players with solid builds can come close to "strong" But even they, are definitely easier to fight than a Sorc or NB.

Stam DKs cannot spam reflective scales they can cast it 2times and they are out of magicka... Most stamina DKs use a shield or fossilize very little magicka for wings most of the time I cast it one time just to discurage...

Well, I'm not going to vote here because I have only experienced DK first hand but Sorcerers are difficult to take out.

For me it seems to depend on the build and style of play.

I'm trying hard to get my character to tank but still do lots of damage quickly and I am finding that difficult because of the way the buffs have been allocated to armour types.

If surrounded I find in PVE that I can triumph if my Ultimate is active but that just does not work for me in PVP.

The champion points may in time enable my build to work well but for now as a DK for PVP play I can't get my desired effect.

Yeah....tells me there are just as many people who are coming back to the game as those who have been playing for a while in 1.6.

A DK without a two-handed sword is nowhere near as terrifying or annoying an opponent as a sorcerer hopping around like House of Pain with all her shields up and overload charged.
