If this isn't abuse of a bug in regards to exploiting I might as well cancel my sub right now rather than hope you (ZOS) as a company will ever actually enforce rules in this game.

Right now, there are people getting through walls and using that to their advantage in a number of ways. Are you stating right here and now, that we can do this and not be banned? Because if that's the case then people who want to play in a fair gaming environment might as well leave now.
I have been accepting in the past that some bugs being abused has been let go because of it being a "grey area" as you say but THIS!? How can this be grey?

It's not a grey area. It is one of the most clear cut examples of exploiting I have ever seen in an mmo. Even more clear cut than the duplication exploit, because at least that could be done by accident. You have clearly stated in the past, multiple times, that enemy players are NOT allowed in the safe zones. To have players actively exploit to enter those zones, spawn camp, and steal scrolls, is NOT a "grey area"! What an insult to your player base to make such a statement. At the very least you need to wipe these players AP and PvP rank.

This is the only bug some poeple were able to get in on. Missed the instant vet 12 craglorn dungeon. Or the anomaly xp pinata. They didnt ban people for those.Why the hell should they do it now?

So it's allowed? Great. DC already stole a Scroll from EP on NA Wabbajack, entirely bypassing the need to siege Arrius/Kings/Farragut, and once people find out it's legal to do so you can bet all 3 factions are gonna start exploting the hell out of this.
PvP is gonna be real fun until this is fixed, if it ever is.

Wow grey area? How can terrain exploiting be a grey area? *bewildered* People got banned for darkshade caverns farming because they used some form of terrain exploit to reset bosses and you are saying bugging into people home base to massacre is a grey area?

Lets break it down
-People exploiting some bug to gain access to home base of the enemy (terrain exploiting)
-setting up forward camps and keep killing players entering cyrodil over and over (griefing)

I used to support this great game but my view of the handling method by ZOS in this fiasco had really made me lose confidence. I am from AD I myself can understand how the EP will feel when you get into cyrodil and tons of DC running around in their base. You guys are definitely sending the wrong message to players

It's a very covert elite tactical maneuver. Seal Team Six style. Plus if your faction cant stop em from stealing a scroll when you get a freakin notification that they picked it up, and your gate is closed meaning they have to go through the wall mobs then your scroll deserves to be stolen.

Seriously everyone.....they probably won't be dropping a hotfix because:
A. No one is getting epic loots from this (Craglorn patch)
B. No one is getting mad XP and leveling to aggressively from this (Craglorn patch)
C. There is no gold impact (gold farmers)
D. It's just like every other PvP b.s. bug....it doesn't truly reward anyone so it will be allowed to go on and on and on and on for a couple of weeks until they have been ridiculed enough (see Caltrops) although they do tend to turn a deaf ear most times (see emperor farming, forward camps, et al) but they may surprise and pull a stealth nerf (see mercenary contracts).
E. "Exploit Early, Exploit Often" is the official battle cry of Cyrodiil

This whole situation (this patch in general) is total and pure bovine excrement......ugh. I thought the FPS drops, PvP lag, and memory leaks were bad and logged off before any of this garbage started showing it's ugly head and boy am I glad I did......anyone who was in a "safe zone" attempting to gank should be shown the door plain and simple. This is very BLACK AND WHITE.

I'm still waiting on someone to come back and say that Mrs/Miss Folsom misspoke and is confused about ZOS policies....I'm hoping that Mrs/Miss Folsom mispoke and is confused about ZOS policies. I can bet no one's going to bother sieging gate-keeps anymore, they'll just all run around and hop over the Gates. It'll be avoiding PvP in PvP.

I am very certain that this issue has ruined any legitimate player's day. Imagine you are excited to try out the new goodies of the patch in pvp and the moment you zone in to cyrodil you get ganked over and over. Put yourself in the player's shoe. Is this right?  "Beautiful game, great concept, exploiting allowed" will be the upcoming review of ESO.

Please don't let people who did this all very intentionally get away without even a slap on the wrist. If you do not punish them, every time you make a mistake that can be exploited, it will be exploited to the greatest extent possible by the same people who pulled this crap. To make it worse, anyone who was put off from exploiting by the possibility of punishment, will start to exploit early and often so the number of exploiters will increase.

There is no grey area here. Anyone who actually placed a camp near another factions spawn area knew exactly what they were doing, and anyone who used the enemy wayshrine more than once also knew exactly what they were doing.

This is a terrible analogy, but when a pitbull mauls a child because the owner didn't properly shut their gate, reasonable people (and I am a dog lover) still recognize that the dog must be punished for mauling the child even if the owner accepts responsibility for leaving the gate open. Zenimax left the gate open and bears some responsibility, but that does not absolve the exploiters of their exploiting.

I'm still baffled. ZoS are supposed to be an MMO Dev, but they dont even know basic MMO terms. At this point, I think Wikipedia would make a better Dev than ZoS.

Is there a point to play legit now? You will ultimately lose out since ZOS allows those people to get away with stuff that gives them an unfair advantage in terms of Alliance Points Gain over legit players who refuse to participate in such activities.

finding the bugged terrain isn't an exploit..
even using that bugged terrain once and then reporting it is not an exploit. Telling an entire guild/alliance about it..
discovering the wayshrine,
USING the wayshrine repeatedly...
setting up forward camps which I burned in our starter area..
farming ap off people who were relying on this ONE thing not to be broken(I was killed once)
and staying in that area for 4+ hours is a "grey area"o.O

Two possible translations for that:

1. I participated in exploiting this and don't want to get in trouble.
2. I plan on exploiting something in the future and don't want to get in trouble.

I am all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, but gamers on the internets have proven time and time again that a significant portion of humanity will cheat given the smallest opportunity, even at games that are more fun when you don't cheat.

My guild NYS and myself refuse to participate in this piece of *** type of activity. If you want to fight, fight in open field. Dont gank people zoning in their home base who are not mentally prepared for combat. Those who thinks they are honourable or leet by doing that can keep assuming.Pvp is destroyed anyway. It also doesnt matter whether it is end or start of campaign. Emperorship is worthless anyway since every Tom, *** and Harry is a former emp nowadays. I be happy if everything is removed and we fight on even grounds once more.

But first of all @Huckdabuck clearly has a point. If ZOS wishes to encourage legit playing this behaviour needs to be punished in some way and second, since people get a reward / compensation after the campain end this way to farm AP during the last 2 days is just ...
