Agreed. On campaigns where one alliance controls the map, this basically prevents anyone from playing their character when they are literally spawn camped.

Time to get out the ban hammer. A week's timeout ought to teach these guys - worse, they'll miss the start of the next campaign.

It's shameful that we have a community manager respond to this thread but there has been zero GM interaction yet.

Can't you just boot these guys offline temporarily while you investigate?

Not defending this behaviour in any way but literally every MMO with pvp has had this kind of thing (wow arena gates being bypassable, Neverwinter, Rift, GW2 and even WoW bg doors have had these issues). And in every case, people abuse it, and almost no one ever gets banned. C'est la vie.

In the *** poor state that Cyrodiil (and wabba especially) is right now they should just take the whole damn thing offline and FIX STUFF instead of 'oooh look pretty lights'.

i am in DC on Wabbajack,while i was dead i saw a forward camp at the EP home base and tried to use it just to see if it was a map bug or something, but it wasn't, so i found myself in the enemy home base with a lot of other DC players that used the forward camp aswell....while we were there we fought some random ep guys,after they killed me i came here to check if it was an exploit,now that i know that it is considered as an exploit i am not going there again of course,i hope that all the random people that used that camp its not going to be banned, we didnt know what was happening.

lol Norefunds was there more than once. Also, DC used this exploit to grab Chim currently on Wabbajack. Much disappoint DC- Any word on how fast ZoS will fix this huge mess? Otherwise, PvP will be completely broken; well, more broken than it already is. Too many PvE updates wrecking PvP in this game

So the elder scroll of chim was exploited out of wabbajack's control with a controlled keep and closed gate. Even yesterday this happened with the southern gate as well, it was closed and we had the keep .and they made off with the scroll

exactly..and if it were suuuch a big mistake and misunderstanding why did you kill EP while you were there? As if his bogus builds haven't garnished him enough AP already. He needs to go to the starter zone now? Not the highest ranking DC anymore?..getting a little bit of your own medicine maybe?

Now this is where he comes back and says he rezzed there multiple times to make sure it was a bug.

Yesterday, DC opened the Ghartok gate on Wabbajack. EP defended the scroll, took back the keeps, and closed the gate. About 45 minutes later, we get a message the scroll is taken. They had a group stealth behind the gate and wait. Today, we get the scroll back, just to have DC climb a cliff into North Morrowind Gate, spend hours killing people as they spawned/ported in, and then took the scroll. They have made a total farce of the whole scroll gate concept, and yet Zenimax has done nothing to stop it.

We seriously need the following:

1. An in game GM response to this type of mass exploitation. There should have been a GM there stopping the spawn camp within minutes of it happening.

2. Permanently ban the offending players. A temporary ban is not good enough for this blatant exploitation. At the very least, reset their AP and PvP rank to 0.

3. Make it so scrolls can not be picked up if the scroll gate is closed. That's the whole point of the gates, right?

1. In the future, In-Game GMs to respond quickly and stop mass-exploitation in PvP. PvP is equal to PvE,so stop prioritizing PvE over PvP.
2. A temporary ban and reset their AP and PvP rank to 0.
3. Make it so scrolls can not be picked up if the scroll gate is closed

The above points are fair and easy to do. Harsh punishments need to be handed out for this blatant exploitation, or we'll end up seeing more people leave the game.

Allow me to answer your rhetorical question with a rhetorical question: If you wake up in a bank full of money, do you take the money and then leave without expectation of arrest? Or would you leave the money there and get out before anyone notices anything is amiss?

Allow me to add to your bottom line: or we we'll see more exploiting and more people leave the game. If people aren't taking ZOS serious, then they have no reason to not exploit, especially when they are constantly rewarded with AP for doing so. If they don't put a stop to this FAST, PVP will change to a game of who can find the exploits first and will have nothing to do with playing the game.

Amazing how all those players just took it out of curiosity and then took it upon themselves to continue going back, killing other players and then exploiting our scroll from the temple and taking it back to DC control.

You can clearly see two Daggerfall guys + their oilpot in this screenshot I took less than 10 minutes ago at the northern morrowind gate transitus shrine on my EP toon.

Oh come now. It's not like they took the camp, said "oops", and left. They stayed there and mass killed EP players as they spawned in. And then they proceeded to steal a scroll. You honestly want us to believe they didn't know what they were doing was wrong? Seriously??

They arent using the camp now, they are using the wallhack to get up the short side of the rocks next to the spawns outer wall.

Jessica has already flat out stated to report them for exploiting, ZOS's stance is crystal clear, so just shut up.

Ive already reported six of the exploiters and will continue to do so as the night unfolds. Perhaps they should stop?
