Veil is only good for multiple targets. Theres much better ultis for ST.
I rather see they fix skills players actually use instead of trying to force us to use rejected skills.
We only have 2x5 hotbar slots we can use. We already have our preferance.
Pretty much ALL NB skills needs huge DPS increases.
Melee ST DPS is very weak as it is, so thats were their main priority should be.
Theres so many skills in Nb class skill lines that has no synergy with the Nb overall.
Only a thing like Suprise attack/Concealed doing less damage then 2h charged attack, and only a little bit more then Ambush is severly wacked.
Sup/Conc should definatly be the hardest hitting skill from stealth.
It is our "backstab" and should do damage accordingly.
Veil is good for any amount. If 1v1ing anyone especially a melee opponent it prevents then from coming in so you can just range them down while you take zero damage. It is actually one of the best ultimates imo. Surprise attack is fine it does decent damage and you can stun lock them.some nb skills definately need work but the biggest problem is stamina based melee builds and their damage output.
This game still has a hilarious amount of issues for being released for 2-3 months, already.
This better be the mother of all patches... or... if it doesn't get better... not even the mighty Zenimaxipad will be able to stop the bleeding!

Exactly what I was thinking. Potions heal fine but NBs are too squishy to last between potions. Also Path of Darkness damage slightly increased, even with double the damage it's not worth giving a slot to.

And I believe you bite the heads off kittens. Hey - this Making Up Unsupported Nonsense Game is fun. Let's all play.

Quite. I'd say these changes were ill thought out but i don't think that much work was put into them. Changes that in practice make no difference whatsoever, but will no doubt break some useful stuff that is working.
So the only change in this patch is a nerf of templar only reliable source of domages ?
Yeah, it was absolutly necessary to nerf templar... It was so OP...
Are you out of your mind ZOS ?!?
20 Mage Mercs spawned by one player?
Talons being un-blockable?
Standard of Might still OP?
Bolt Escape still spammable 10+ times?
Critical Surge is still the best healing in game while also buffing damage?
Overload still giving 15 ability slots to sorcs?
Root still prevents free look for players?
Block still negating CC from behind?
Come on guys...

All I see in these comments from nearly every single person who is unwilling to branch out and try something different with their respective class is the lack of willingness to use the one aspect of being a human that no other being has... Adapt and overcome! Templars, seriously crying over one skill that hurts their damage output, when that skill is the primary move the botters are using to kill everything outright? Nightblades are by far the most hindered class out there. We went a long time with complete unresponsiveness, and still we pushed through it only to have a major nerfing of an already underdog class, at least the greater majority of NBs were nerfed, while myself and a select few NBs I know actually had our dps double and in a few cases like mine, it was tripled! Seriously though, all the griping and sending unnecessary tickets, trying to get free gametime and any other possible way you can distract the devs from their job is simply dragging out all of these fixes into an even longer timeframe. Open your ticket, inform a dev what is going on with the class/skill/bot/loot/anything wrong, and move on! Sending more tickets for the same exact thing or escalating a ticket because you feel you deserve something more than the rest of us do, is just plain asinine and only shows your level of maturity and how you perceive yourself against everyone else. Slow down your gameplay, there is no rush to get to the end game content, don't be in 5 trade guilds... be in 1 maybe 2 and join social guilds and make friends and people you enjoy joking and talking with, that's what a community does, and all MMOs are about an in game community, whether it be an alliance of guilds hitting PvP or a nice rivary as long as it is not only about bashing everyone who thinks or does things differently than you. I think this game is beginning to take a dive, and I don't think the Devs are responsible, they are doing a fantastic job of fixing things as they see them. We may not know every motive they have regarding a fix or patch, and we certainly should not know every single detail. As for patch notes missing changes, I agree it is a little aggravating, however writing up that list, ensuring wording is correct is quite a task and it is very easy to miss something here and there. Have patience and above all, never forget that ultimate human trait that let us span the globe, live in every climate on Earth and even visit space, ADAPTABILITY! Thank you, please return to your regularly scheduled time killer while you wait for the servers to come back online!

If they don't get off their asses within the next month, I'm gonna unsub and go to Wildstar or back to GW2, at least those games have devs and customer support teams that pay attention to their player base

What is this garbage? A global cooldown AND increased resource cost? This is NOT what we were promised.
Time to say goodbye to the rest of your Templar subs.
Glad NBs got some love though.
