with the introduction of subclassing, and the new mythic, if you want to compete, you must ! its not pay to win apparently, but if you dont pay you aint winnin ! (i say this sarcastically, but im dead serious. the extra crit damage and mitigation/healing is essentially mandatory. then you stack that with damage passives of nb/warden and you're going over the crit damage cap and start negating their impen. ive hit multiple spectral bows over 20k this patch. i hit some kid last night for 26k which is silly after hulk smash, picked up a kill, then soul harvest into spectral)
furthermore i also assumed that the game would be in a playable state and that i would be able to enjoy these pay to win features i mean new content.
Subclassing is a base game feature. No ESO+ required. I cancelled my sub after subbing continuously from early 2015 until U35 dropped a couple years ago. Haven't regretted it a bit, ever. In fact, I'm thankful I'm not paying for the changes they've made since and including U35. It makes changes I disagree with a lot easier to stomach. I actually enjoy the game more now that I'm not paying. But, I did set up a personal guild bank as soon as I saw U35 coming down the pike and prepared accordingly. The new mythic will almost certainly be nerfed soon or when the next one comes out....or so it has always been in the past.
im essentially complaining that ive paid a lot of money, i work all week, cyrodiil is empty all week.... get on friday night and its unplayable because of the lag.
subclassing and pay to win i find frustrating but my main complaint was the the game doesnt work and we are losing players hand over fist. the only free time i have.... and the only time people are actually in cyrodiil.... and it doesnt even work.

Ping issues
So i waiting thru the super fun queue of 50 people, after working 60 hours this week. Having only a few hours to enjoy myself, i really enjoy this anticipation builder (such a great feature !).
eventually i was allowed into gray host !

and wow, to the absolute shock of no one, the ping was at 999.
so me and the homie head down to brk, get some action in. dc and ad ballgroup is farming. lag is atrocious. no big deal we can bail on this, we go down south. check out faregyl.
take all the resources, no one comes. they hardly do anymore. butttttttttttttttttttt wow was the lag thiccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc bro. even far from the front lines, ping spiking, staying over 200, going up to 999.
couldnt play last night. too laggy.
why do i pay for eso plus, the season pass, multiple chapters, the base game..... and cyrodiil is unplayable?
i mean bro i can leave if you want. but usually people ask me to leave if they want me to leave. dont make it so miserable that i leave.... its rude and tacky. have some class. speak up. do you want me to leave and go to anther game or what bro?

I already have 75,000 seals of endeavor. (nothing but flash cosmetics in crown store, so no interest there)
I already have 25,000 writ vouchers. (already bought everything vendor has to offer and have over 500 aetherial ambrosia)
The crafting stations are virtually useless without the ability to donate them to a guild to build a guild house with all the stations.
So, without an XP boost for crafting, this GP offers nothing to the vet players they don't already have an overabundance of.
The GP is optional. If it offers nothing a player wants or needs, that player can simply choose not participate in it and stick to the activities they find more suitable to their playstyle.
The game is optional. So your suggestion is less than helpful. But you do make an important point. When a game no longer offers it's loyal, long time players anything, it is time for them to move on to some other activity in life or play a different game.

From the perspective of a returning player
Maybe I was a bit late with my opinion, but recently, I decided to return to the game after taking a long break. I became very interested in what had happened to the game in the meantime, and I was intrigued by the new Daedric plot in the story (finally, something new to the Scrolls lore!). I'm a huge fan of RPG games, and I always enjoy the fact that, even though it's an MMO, it still has immersive elements, other scrolls games, choices, and consequences.
The first thing I noticed when I launched the game was the menu from a mobile game that resembled the "Hero Return" battle pass. I still had to update all the addons, so I decided to set aside all the time for this next weekend. I went into the game and saw the same menu. The timer ended after two hours, but I decided to try it anyway. After doing the introductory quest, I decided to see what new things were added to the game, to do daily writs and sort inventory. Hoo-ray! The mechanic that were supposed to help me is gone. I may have received some rewards for completing this battle pass, but the time is up. I'm glad I don't have to worry about it anymore, and I can play at my own pace.
The main goal was to complete the storyline of the "Golden Road" and "Scribing". Since there was a mini-event related to this in the game, the first thing I did was Scribing
This was one of the most enjoyable quest chains I have ever experienced in this game.
All the characters were very lively and interesting, and there was a slight challenge in terms of gameplay, but it was disappointing that it only happened at the end. The usual quests were varied by including a mini-game and takes you through some of the most beautiful and varied locations in Tamriel. All characters are well-written and interesting. It would be great to have more epic and lengthy quests like this one. For example, Mythic Items to add context and variety to the leads grind. Scribing itself is quite interesting and at first makes you experiment and try new things.
But my joy was not meant to last for long. The Golden Road. After starting the prologue and speaking with Leramil the Wise, I began to feel that something was wrong. Most of her dialogue was about explaining simple events that happened in Necrom's plot. I thought, "Okay, maybe the quest is available to all players and someone forgot something". But every step we made in the story was explained, as if I weren't there, with descriptions of events that had just occurred. The questions and answers in the dialogue seem to be repeating themselves.
The beginning of the Golden Road was also frustrating. Leramil greeted me as if we had never seen each other and started explaining again what was going on and why I was here. Why did I go through the prologue? Why is she trying to explain and tell me the same things that happened 15 minutes ago? I read dialogues in RPGs to learn something new, to find out the character's attitude to events that are happening now or in the past, and not to listen every time to a retelling of events in which I also participated.
Then I went to other places on quest and realized that I was in kindergarten. Every NPC is diligently trying to explain everything that's happening on my screen as if I were a child, and worries if I've forgotten what happened a couple of minutes ago.
The same attitude is generally felt in all aspects of the game. The gameplay of the game has become much more accessible than before. Yes, I understand that it is necessary to attract new players, but not by simplifying the game. If the game doesn't give you any challenge, why stay in it and keep playing, learning, getting better, and discovering new mechanics? We already have an Oakensoul Ring, companions, and a fairly simple arcanist. What's next? Autorotation with beam on one button?
I haven't figured out multiclassing yet, but from what I saw, we used to have different builds for each of the 7 classes, and now we have one dominant among all. Was this the purpose of the multiclass?

23k is your problem
Bump it up to 29-32k and you’ll be fine.
This is exactly why players run all heavy in PvP. It’s to counter gankers and high dps (carry set players) that hang out in the back of groups.
I get hit with combos like this all the time, and never die, unless it’s a massive Zerg and can’t LoS.
Also get your health up to 38-40k.
If you block this combo; roll or even part of it, it should only do half the your health or less.
Many people here have made it clear that we need more bulk today but I think that grtting 40k health on every build is wrong.
Getting this much health would impact your build too much : IMO, getting more weapon damage (for example) would be way more beneficial to your survivability than getting more health because of the pressure you would put on the enemies and the increased healing.
Also, anyone who has any ammount of skill can survive with just 28k resists and 30k health...
Therefore I recommend OP to get 50k health minimum

I am still trying to understand who in this world thought it was a good idea to buff warden and nb, just when players can mix them together.
The power creep is absurd at this point, the variety of skills used in PvP is almost none and there are only groups and tanky players trying to burst combo and running around at max speed and infinite sustain.
I am curious how they plan to ruin PvP further down the road.
It would be better if they actually stop doing these updates at all and leave the game alone.
