- Defeat the Symphony of Blades, the Lava Queen, or Molag Kena (note that defeating the Lava Queen does work)
- Capture an Imperial City District
- Defeat the Serpent of Sanctum Ophidia

Hi everyone! We've been troubleshooting the issues some of you have raised with purchasing Tamriel Tome Upgrades, and we have a few suggestions.
First, please ensure that your payment method and billing address are added to the platform you are trying to purchase from. For example, if you play ESO on PC through Steam, you will need to have a billing address and payment method added to Steam, not the ESO account system. We have observed some players getting a "Transaction Failed" error when attempting to purchase a Tamriel Tome Upgrade when there is a mismatch, or missing information. Also, if you have everything set up correctly and still run into this error, we recommend waiting a bit and trying again.
Additionally, if you are using ESO on Steam with a gamepad, please set Steam to "Big Picture Mode". You can do this by going to View then selecting "Big Picture Mode" from the drop-down.

Hello. Unfortunately, this is a shame, as I won’t be able to play for the next two years. I was hoping to be able to buy Tamriel Tome via Steam or the official website, and then complete them when I return to the game. In fact, the new purchase system is rather frustrating. I really hope you’ll reconsider the sales options so that those who can’t play now can buy them for future playthroughs.
Hey @IviRo you should be able to make a transaction using your Steam Wallet. If you can't, could you let us know?

Hi @phanuel_ithran! The payment methods for PC and the ESO account systems are debit, credit, and PayPal, and yes the Tome Upgrades are purchasable in-game only.

Cyrodiil Campaign Restart- April 2
Hi all. We are following up on the ongoing issue Cyrodiil is experiencing, where scoring isn't getting updated accurately for some campaigns across all megaservers.
We have identified the issue and will need to go each campaign region to restart. You will experience a disconnect if you are actively in Cyrodiil and will be kicked to the character select screen. You may also lose up to 15 minutes of character progression as a result. We are starting work now and will update once we have gone through all realms.

Re: The Serpent didn’t count for the challenge, and the gold reroll option isn’t appearing
Hello! Some of you may recall in the Update 49 PTS, we had some incorrect text in the game that indicated you could reroll weekly challenges for gold. This is not an option yet - the plan is for that to go in with Update 50 in June. Non-English language help articles in-game incorrectly states this, and that will be fixed with Update 50 as well.
Regarding the Sanctum Ophidia and Depths of Malatar dungeon weekly challenges not completing as expected, we are aware and investigating (including seeing if there are other cases). Thank you for raising this to us.
