Just bought accidently a style page from the undaunted vendor and vasted 50 keys which is very easy to accidently do on gamepad... would be nice if every high cost item asks you before purchase if you really want to or if there was not only a buy back option but also a sell back...

In my experience the top 100 for weekly isn’t covered by score-pushing groups. There’s really not that many score-pushing groups and they’re not going to drop their current prog to do the weekly unless the weekly happens to be their current prog. The top is more people in tri progs whose prog happens to be the weekly or asap tri pulls I think. Regardless, as it stands now, you can just do the trial thats the weekly and get a reward for it. It doesn’t feel competitive. Also, the gear isn’t curated from the mail I don’t think? It never helps me.

I submitted my feedback as I have been poking around on the PTS since it was first turned over to players many years ago. As I said in the survey, my biggest complaint about the PTS is that ZOS largely ignores bugs and issues reported by players unless they are major issues that block content or processes - stuff that the internal ZOS team should have found before it reached the PTS. If players are going to the trouble of downloading the PTS, testing changes or content and using the /bug function to report feedback and issues, then ZOS should prioritize fixing those issues. There is so much rigid schedule adherence that unexpected issues reported by players seem like an afterthought and probably contributes to why they are often ignored. Respecting players’ time should be a PTS priority and that is definitely not the case.

I provided feedback in the survey, but want to reiterate some of it here.

Mainly, I won't participate in PTS because I don't feel like my feedback changes anything. Whether it's bugs (like the events from last year) or controversial changes (U35, U46), it seems like PTS is "too late" to have bigger changes considered. I would think if something's poorly received on PTS, it's pulled from the build and given more time to bake. You guys are rushing things out. Not sure where that pressure is coming from, but it makes PTS feel pointless.

The data-driven way of doing things needs to change. No one wants to offer detailed, well-reasoned feedback only for some spreadsheet to take priority - combat changes especially. To be blunt, if you guys think you know better, then I don't see the point in joining the PTS.

And if ZOS isn't on the PTS forums, discussing their decisions, then again, I don't see the point of joining the PTS. If you're going to solicit feedback, you need to discuss it and act on it.

Seeing where the current changes fall in the overall roadmap is also important. Understanding why changes have to be made is important, so providing more detailed explanations will help. But if those explanations provided don't stand up to public scrutiny, there's no reason why the change should go live.

As a console player, I'm really limited in what I can do with PTS anyways. I only have the base game on PC, which used to be enough, but no longer is. So, either make PTS free or provide console PTS. The more people that can test, the better off you'll be.

Absolutely, after all it's a thread that is based on steam charts as a part of a whole, having most obviously observable statics out there for most games. You are free to think that it's not a representative sample of overall population, there's nothing wrong with it.

I never suggested that, one way or the other, I simply pointed out that you were presumably basing your comments on Steam populations while stating that both games were primarily played outside of Steam, and therefore asking what your corresponding "out of Steam" figures were.

Not sure what figures are you so desperate to get there as zenimax keeps it as one of their best kept secrets for various reasons, I'd speculate but that might get redacted. This "primarily out of steam" thing is more of a sign of caution as steam always getting dismissed as an unreliable source, because "we all play from the client" thing going on dedicated forums. Also it was a fact some six or so years ago, when someone on a dev team was asked on a stream (or irl event?), was a long time ago to remember who and where it was. Doubt it's still the case, but we don't have a better recent reference afaik. And if those figures aren't good we're never seeing them.

Yes, I tried to go by coastline as much as possible, but ran into at least one place where my mount and I were eaten by the slaughterfish.

Yes, the distance in Stonefalls and Glenumbra is also bad, but I have Kragenhome in Stonefalls and the Exorcised Coven Cottage in Glenumbra, so even without my EP and DC lowbie alts having all of the wayshrines on the map yet they could still port to those houses to considerably shorten the journey. In contrast, the closest home to The Banished Cells in Auridon is the Barbed Hook Private Room, although Mathisen Manor is almost as good to port to for this purpose-- but either way, you must then ride or swim more than half the length of Auridon to reach the dungeon, so the trip is definitely much longer (and fraught with more danger, especially to a lowbie alt).

Anyway, I was trying to make a light-hearted post, and had no idea you all would make such a big deal about it. Sheesh.
