But what if you have Account A on PC that has "Razum-dar," who started playing in April 2014 and played for a single week before never touching the game again. And then Account B on XB made their "Razum-dar" in June 2015 and has played that character every single day since doing hardcore RP?
By creation date? A wins, and the hardcore RPer is out the name they actually use. Because someone who doesn't even play has a claim on that name.
There needs to be a better solution than just 'creation date;' probably more like 'account loyalty' or something. Or, you know, just divorce character name from the identity in the first place and allow everyone to have their own "Razum-dar."

Not being rude but so whats the solution for you?
Just not bring a feature a lot of people want because of there might be a icon next to the name or a ‘ next to your name would bother you?
The solution is for ZOS to consider that there are players for whom the character name is incredibly important, and not just dismiss a portion of their playerbase as 'irrelevant.'
...like they did with Subclassing. And Account-wide Achievements.
There are solutions that would allow players to keep the names they had - unaltered - by just having the account name be the main form of communication. ZOS just needs to not take the 'easy solution' of just merging the servers all into one, which would by definition need all character names to be unique.
But zos has not stated ANYTHING like that at all. Nobody knows yet how crossplay will look, if its just gonna be EU & NA being merged , only consoles or anything else. Nobody knows anything yet but still we are here discussing about what we are calling unlayed eggs.
I personally trust the company enough, to believe they have these things in their mind and belive they have much harder problems to solve, before crossplay goes live, if it goes live.
Not a biggie, I've played enough MMOs to be used to getting around this. An extra letter here, an accent there.
Well, you heard it from the housing expert.
Is a single copy of this furnishing worth 50 USD to you?
If not, don't bother with Solstice treasure maps. Consider yourself warned.

Its killing the game for a lot of newer players when you have us sweaty players going 50/0 every match because we are stuck being qued against these people every other month.
We have shared the note on MMR reset in the past. Happy to do so again. My understanding is additional tech work needs to be done to make that happen. But I do not have a status on that right now.
Please do keep passing this on. You can trace 99% of peoples complaints about BGs to how mismatched theyve become since they started resetting MMR in U44. The answer we were given in the Q&A was that they were resetting MMR to lineup with the weekly leaderboard (which makes no sense as the resets are monthly).
Resetting MMR and mismatching lobbies is essentially a meat grinder for new players and frustrating for everyone.
We'll flag this again in our next meeting with the PvP team.

Also to your information - other good games literally don't have this problem and no one is 'trolling it'. False dismisal are punishable acts. Screen from XIV.
Can you come up with a better idea maybe?
There's no option there for "does not follow mechs" or "blindly hits boss without rezzing so there will be an inevitable wipe when he dies. Again."
Not being a team player or something to that effect would work as an option.
