New Event

Why the heck would you start a new event before the current one finishes? It's pulled most people out of Solstice it seems like, meaning the camps are nigh on impossible to do for those of us still needing Bone Shards...!

To be fair, the shards will be there. They do not go away when the event ends. The deadric war double drops on the other hand...

I got 2 shards yesterday and one today from Stirk boxes that were not from defending the camps. So the other daily quests there will work and don't require help. Good luck!

I am so tired of back to back events. Spread them out so they actually feel like something fun and special again.

I do not even bother to login for 1-2 bars at prime time.

I wish we got 2 tickets for doing any 1 daily.

I think stuff like this is part of event fatigue. Having to take time to do 2 different dailies a day means less time/energy for our normal play routines.

Not seeing the problem.

Aside from 2 objectives to acquire the daily gold box and 2 event tickets, all the event asks is that players simply just play the game (albeit within 3 select zones) to enjoy the benefits. You get boxes from literally doing almost anything, and the boxes actually have worthwhile loot.

Players can spend a few minutes doing the bare minimum for gold box and tickets, then ignore the rest without fear of missing out on anything. Not really seeing a downside here.

[edit] Heck, it even rewards players for catching up on activities they put off during the WW and Witches events. I'd fallen way behind on my resource gathering, and today I'm spending my time catching up on that and getting event boxes at the same time.

I thought these events were tedious enough but this one reaches new heights.

So that means the normal dailies for the zones? Wondered why the elf didn't give any tickets for doing his stuff.

It wasn't FOMO for me, I don't even use the skill this caltrops style applies to. I was just so close to having all the pieces I would've been miffed if I'd missed it by just 1 shard.

There was only two days left of the Wall anyhow, so I shifted to Vvardenfell and Summerset. On three of my four accounts, they're fairly new lands, so it's more interesting.
