First, make "Crown Store" more lore-friendly. And I thought experience and crafting bonus come with the ESO Plus membership. Now you are making more exceptions?

I've been asking for decent Bonemold, Chitin and Ashlander armor since beta, and ever since QuakeCon, I've been waiting for news about the Morag Tong style as well as all the other new armors. Getting new styles is my most favourite thing to look forward to of every update so far. And at the point where I'm more interested in additions to the store than additions to the game ... it's ruined. The whole game experience is ruined, because everything will be seen through the lense of "how many Crowns do I have to buy to get what I want?" instead of "which content do I have to play?".

I realize this will probably fall on deaf ears, considering how many people are happy, enthusiastic even about buying everything for Crowns, but I have to ask: Please, please don't add more new styles and looks separately to the store than you include in free content updates and DLC packs. The primary way to get new looks for my character should be playing the game.

Appearance Changes
Name Changes

Some might even like Alliance and Race changes (though I'm not a big fan of those)

Housing and stuff to go with it would be a great crown sink.

What I do not want - to see the cash shop become the main source of income - please let that be releasing DLC. (The amount of new content we've gotten so far is sad and by the time console release is out, it will be over six months without new content if we don't get any new dungeons or similar by then).

@UrQuan It's quite easy now to over-level the 1-50 content - eg, I finished Glenumbra (top level 15) at Lvl 19, Rivenspire (Lvl 24-31) at 34, Bangkorai (37-43) at 47, and I had hit Lvl 50/VR1 when I was in the Lvl 46 section of Coldharbour. With 10% XP boost to ESO Plus members, that will make it even easier to out-level the content. Sure you could not do the content, but I don't want to miss the stories contained in it. An XP freeze would stop you from gaining XP / levelling up until you are ready to move on to the next content area.

I agree that it's really easy to over-level the content: I've got 16 characters I play and every single one of them has over-leveled by the time they've completed the first full zone. I just don't really understand the benefit of freezing your XP so that you're not over-leveling it. Is it just to keep things from being too easy, or is there something else I'm missing?

For me it would indeed just be to keep things from being too easy. (Also to stop quests from turning green/grey, as that makes me think "I shouldn't be here any more".)

I suffered the "no face zoom" bug when I created my character. She now has eyebrows that are vertical instead of horizontal. I want to be able to fix this one day.

However, I don't think that things like character customisation/barber shop should only be available in the Crown shop if and when they do arrive. There should be a way to do this in game and to be honest, it should have been in game by now.

For more complex changes such as if you wanted to change race: There are certain quests already in game that have allowed NPCs to change race. How about a quest where Sanguine plays a prank on you or something! I understand that this might be quite complicated so may need to be done out of game if we are to keep level progress etc and would be happy to use my crowns for those. (The same goes for Alliance changes/Class Changes)

Give me the option of saving up all my in game gold/do a quest etc if I have frittered away all my crowns on the costumes/mounts etc. If the only way that you will implement those is in the shop, then I would ask for:

reasonable price-Don't let it cost a ridiculous amount like 6 months worth of crowns!
name change- I don't have any characters called "Licks-His-Hind" or whatever, but it would be nice to have an option to change it.
appearance change (So that I can fix those damn eyebrows- which is actually due to a system fault, not that I created my character on purpose with)
more character customisation options -hairstyles/adornments/tattoos/ face markings

In addition, although I'm keen for new emotes (Thread here: forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/144699/share-your-emote-ideas-requests-for-zos-to-peruse) I think they should be included in the game and not compete with costumes etc on the crown store.

I'm ok with everything cosmetic, but it absolutely needs to be lore friendly.

I never want to see any gear on the crown store. I think that even the conviniece items are a bad idea. Also please never add "special boxes", that have a chance of dropping some sort of rare item.

I don't want to see anything that breaks the immersion this game provides OR the PVP balance. That game is getting more and more popular and me and a lot of friends recently started playing after seeing the population increasing and knowning the game was p2p, ruining it with p2w would make us all quit since we came here just to avoid that kind of stuff. No to buying power!

While I would LOVE to see costumes, here is my concern with this:

How are you going to make motifs retain their current value? I have unlocked all motif's except the higher level ones (I have barbaric but I just got to VR3), these styles are useful right now because lets face it- the costumes available in the world right now don't really look that great other than the reward costumes. IF you allow costumes in your shop that look like armor (during a video you spoke about outleveling your armor but wanting to retain the look, so use of a costume would be the answer) what you will be creating as a byproduct is a bunch of players who couldn't care less WHAT style their armor is because they are going to be putting a costume over it anyway. This will make style motif's matter less and less and effect armor/clothier crafters.

I understand that right now they are silly things like jester costumes, chef outfits, and wedding dresses. It is the statement about wanting to retain the look of your armor even though you have outleveled that has me questioning what other costumes will eventually be in this market.

Do you have any plan that will prevent this?

Being able to unlock paint for costume design/tailoring would be good.

The capability to add your Guilds motif on the front of the back of your outfit would be nice, without having to wear the tabard.

As everyone has said, nothing in the store that gives you an enhanced capability. You should NOT be able to "buy" your way through the game.

You should not be able to purchase any increases in "Crit" or enhanced weapon damage. That should be purely down to the ingame crafting and Set drops ONLY!.

Changing character "looks" should be a given - why you can't is beyond me.

Some form of "mount" for the Sorcerers that keep with a style of lore. Horse really

Not part of the store, but toning down the orb in MAgesLight by 50% would be AWESOME!. Would stop me from going semi-blind every 1.5 seconds

-only vanity/costumes (that do not break lore)
-DLC. It would be nice to permanently own DLC through the crown store using the crowns we get tfor subbing. It would be a sad day if I sub for a year, and then have to unsub and lose all my content versus someone who just buys DLC and always has access.

Please NEVER ADD:
-gear/weapons
-consumables other than soul gems/basic potions (health/magika/stamina).
-xp bonuses (NEVER EVER, don't even think it)
-gold% bonuses (again NEVER).
-anything that gives an edge over players who do not have them.
-your dignity for sale (don't cross that line ZoS)

Since Matt Firor said in the Twitch live show that ZoS creates the Cash Shop because they listens to their players. Should there not be an official thread explaining how ZoS will handle the shop in such a way that it will not in any way or form ruin ESO by selling character levels gains, complete characters, items that players can buy for money which helps players power in game?

A FEW players have already started to walk a thin line what they want to buy in the shop to help them. Only a few, but suggestions to buy things in the shop which you can get in the game or buy in the game with gold has popped up.

Players do not understand that one of several big reasons why ESO is so compelling is the great balance in always have things to stride for. Not only at high levels, but through the whole Tamriel, all levels in a lot of different play styles and areas.

The champion system is another example what players do not understand. The system is awesome since you always have a reason for any kind of exp you do without it ruins anyone challenge if they don't play 24/7.
Players do not understand and think unless you have all points, you cant play.
Players will understand this after playing, but not if they can buy points in the store.

Do you mind explaining the roadmap for the Cash Shop, in how ZoS is going to ensure ESO will be a MMO and not a game people pay things for in the Cash shop, play for 30 days then stops?

You totally got it! Player goes into the barber shop and to change their hair they need a barber shop token. They can LOOK at the hairstyles on their character, but can't buy. If they don't own the style, they have the option to buy that too. (Buying a hairstyle should include one barber shop token)

After you have spent dozens of hours staring at your character, you start to notice some things you would like to change, but it's too late. You don't want to sacrifice dozens of hours of gameplay/advancement just because you failed to recognize how huge you made your dainty Altmer's hands.

Now, that's all you can see; these enormous ogre hands. You get self conscious. You've got all this great VR14 armor, but you know everyone is just staring at your hands. It'd be nice if the world was more accepting of your elephant paws, but they aren't. You can't get into raid groups, your guild creates a rank just for you (Meaty Fists), and entire sieges grind to a halt as both friendly and enemy faction members surround you and spam /lol... Please, for the love of Vivec, Gina, PLEASE HELP.

An item allowing a different style/appearance from lower level to be imprinted on any piece of gear.
Something like:
-Convert any level Light Headpiece to Deadric Jute Appearance -850 Crowns
-Convert any level Medium Chestpiece to Bosmer Rawhide Appearance -850 Crowns (sure to be an incredibly popular option, LOL)

An Item aloowing one to change traits on dropped armor
Something like:
-Convert any piece of armor to Divines trait -900 crowns
-Convert any piece of armor to Impenetrable trait -900 crowns (probably be the most used item in the whole shop)

This implies the two (transition to F2P and the Gift of the Valar (leveling boost) were linked. There were literally years in between.

Lotro is a very fun game, as is Teso. There is no reason to trash one to promote the other.

I like to complete each and every quest in all zones.

It drives me a little bonkers to out level the zones too fast. I used the stone of the tortoise in LoTRo and loved it.
