Forgot to mention more races! Would love some playable non-humanoid races like: lamia, nereid, automaton, factotum, watcher's eye, giant, etc.

They already are, except NC due to the drawbridge.

How about an overall overhaul? 😉

lets face it. Eso basegame is alway in the top 50 in steamcharts. Everyone has the game, but few are actually playing it. If you want more people to play you have to roll the dice and actually change something. The core deficiencies of the game are well known. Weak " busywork" combat with high apm/low performance, faceroll overland, boring linear dungeons.

    nothing new here.

One of the reasons other MMOs get more playtime is they are much much more grindy. ESO has taken steps over the years to reduce the grindiness of the game. Careful what you wish for.

Despite I'm a content oriented player (PvE/PvP) it's pretty simple - better handling of elder scrolls franchise, lot more robust writing and actually relevant and interesting lore. Less focus on clown store would also do wonders I'd assume but if the very core is not there ultimately, other stuff doesn't matter as much and no mechanical depth or elaborate dungeon design would do, sadly dungeon quality also started to drop recently which isn't a good sign overall as it was one of the strong sides for most of the game's life span.

More earnable content is the main thing. And I don’t mean FOMO events either. I mean permanently available content that I can chase and getting something meaningful like a mount, house, skin, or something similar. Much of the content that is stuffed in crates should be earnable.

Account wide benefits. One of the things I really like about GW2 is its masteries system. Would be nice to see something like that.

New class. Seems pretty obvious but having a new class would get me to spend a few hundred hours and dollars in-game.

More tentpole systems. IA is nice, but gets pretty monotonous after a while. It would be nice to have more instanced content that scales with group size. Of course, it would need better rewards than useless gear sets.

A save for the Infinite Archive.
A reason to run Bastion Nymics again.
    All dungeons soloable.

I like all of these. To clarify just in case, by "all dungeons soloable", I mean a story mode, not just making the few dungeons with two levers and such soloable.

Also, Bastion Nymic should be soloable.

Having said that, a big thing for me would be for them to roll back AwA, or give players the option of AwA or not. That's the only thing that would make me interested in playing alts again. Without that, I'm only on my main, and therefore I will run out of stuff to do at some point. I know a rollback or change for this won't happen, but I needed to say it.

With that out of the way, two things would make me spend a lot more time in ESO:

    1. To keep my main busy and engaged, I'd need more story content released. ZOS seems to be moving in the opposite direction, so that's not likely to happen. But for me, ideally, there'd be a quest pack released every few months that takes place in existing zones (so no need to create something entirely new).

    2. As I've suggested before, add some type of overarching solo system. Right now, apart from doing the story content, there's nothing. Antiquities, lorebooks, and other stuff (many fragment collections) require entering dungeons and/or trials. Give me something I can do completely solo. Scatter 1000 fragments across Tamriel and I'll spend months collecting them, especially if there are cool rewards for specific milestones. Anything that takes a while, is overarching (uses all the zones), and can be done completely solo. Not 99% solo and then you have to do a dungeon or trial for the last 3 pieces. Completely solo.

If I could use all furnishing slots without being subbed.

But it's better if they don't do that, because not being able to do housing is one of the only things stopping me from giving ESO all my free time, instead of just a chunk of it, and that would probably be bad for me. Limits are healthy. :P

This would be very cool if ZoS implemented a official voucher/crown trading market to buy real currency items with gold. Would make the game more accessible to more players, which would increase the population. Overall a win-win.

I would like to see Vengeance Cyrodiil and more balanced PvE, as well as buffing or enabling heavy attack builds for non-lightning staves. There's not really much point to getting ESO+ if I feel like I have to play an arcanist in every dungeon, and that every HA build is lightning staff.

Honestly, the never ending changes (even after they said they heard us about the changes) make me not want to play anymore.

Subclassing is one of those ideas that on paper seems cool but now you have zero class identity and everyone just running the same meta skill. You no longer get that rewarding feeling of being the healer who came in clutch and the group counted on you. Everyone is the same (more or lesS).

These never ending - massive changes - make it very irritating.

I wish they could come in and just clean the game up. Remove the bottom 30-40% of sets people don't use. Remove all the bloat in the game. Revert some of the bad game designs. Fix PvP without dumbing it down like they are with vengance (this screams of accesability like they did back in the day.. news flash pvp is supposed to be hard.. I get my ass handed to me 24/7 and it's still a blast).

What good is adventuring if you can't look good doing it? Fix the diaper butt on the Timbercrow Wanderer costume. Get rid of hip/butt/crotch flappers on light armer - attach that kind of crap to belts instead of chests. Get rid of 'socks' on short skirts.

Enrich the companions. Fix companion ranged weapons so users don't dodge-roll reset bosses - currently only the ice staff is not guilty of this. Allow me to bring my companion into my home - just like I can bring my bear into my home. When I take my companion to a pub and sit down with a glass of wine, the companion should join me. If I start dancing, my companion should play the lute. If I start playing the lute, my companion should start dancing her racial dance. Allow me to put headgear on my companion like helms or circlets and change her hairstyle - so she doesn't look like every other Mirri in the game.

Delves are too crowded. When I enter a delve, give me the option of a public instance or a solo (with group if grouped) instance. I love delves but they are not fun with other players racing through, waiting for the boss to respawn and hoping to get a couple attacks in before the boss dies. Delves are designed for one or two players for good reason - let players who agree have the option.

Arena content, ideally solo-able (still a tad miffed about Asylum Sanctorum now that it's more or less dead with participation, Dragonstar is a 4-man, so easier to make a group), and ideally the weapons sets provide unique skill interactions that make up for the skill actually being used, and bridging the gap from the opportunity cost of choosing between a 5-piece or a mythic and 3-piece if such a weapon set is to be used predominantly.

More unlockable scribing skills (with some grind, not just paying 50,000 gold, though the ability to buy on alts afterwards).

A group-finder category that lists all open groups, instead of a per-content-type basis.

The most common things I'd like to see, and which would certainly increase my playtime, would be:
    a new playable race (Maormer),
    a new class,
deeper, more meaningful, and longer quests (this year was really bad; the "main quest" in West Solstice felt like a prologue!), new housing features like gardening (no, last year's big "housing update" wasn't a new housing feature...),
    more companions with interesting stories,
and new quests and stories for our existing companions.
And then, as a new "feature," I'd be happy about something like professions, which could give a character a new flair (professions would, for example, give you better drop rates or special drops; as a geologist, you get more ore, special resources, etc.).
It would also be nice if there were more to do in the cities, especially in the new cities, where every second house is just a backdrop with a locked door. Give us a barber where we can go and change our hair color and hairstyle for gold.

We already have Maelstrom, Vateshran, and the IA (which they continue to add stuff to). The release schedule for trials and dungeons hasn't been reduced either. I'd rather they add some more less combat-focused stuff before they start releasing even more combat items.

A few things that would interest me:
-Better rewards/more reasons to run IA
-Weekly events that prioritize world events (i.e. dragons, vents, geysers, etc) that give extra xp or gold or something - just get more people to run legacy world events
-New weapon skill trees (spears, hand to hand, something like that)
    -New grimoires for scribing
-Ways to earn crates in game
-A Cyrodiil/IC PVE explorer mode (maybe when this Writhing Wall event is over?)
-Revamp endeavors - make them a little more fun

There are a lot of things this game could do to improve without breaking the foundation of what it is. I've been playing for 8 years and I keep asking myself this question.

    Secondary: Warden Bosmer AD

    • A 4x4x4 battleground queue reinstated, or, 2nd best, regularly scheduled three team bg weekends, every month.
    • An option to upgrade homes, for instance, upgrade classic to notable (100 extra slots) or notable to Grand (add 100 slots). Paywall the upgrades, guaranteed people would jump at the chance to spend 5 bucks for more furnishing slots.
•A remove structure option, where possible, in existing homes.
•More "blank" properties for custom home builds. Go crazy with the landscaping, more water, more caves, mountains, valleys.
•More houses for sale, especially notable houses. Flood the market.
•Does the crown store EVER change? New stuff is rotated in but the base crown store items haven't changed...ever? In years? The same base houses, outfits, styles, furnishing packs never change and its so boring.
•Better rewards for PvP. More PvP specific rewards. Rare drop fragments to earn a PvP house, PvP bound style pages you can only earn by playing PvP, cool ones without whatever the floppy waist thing is called or the ridiculous shoulders. Sleek deadly styles that people want. More rare gold leads, I've got 12 statues of St. Alessia, I don't need any more of her!
•Above all, if nothing else, please. Consider adding three team battlegrounds back. If they did I might never log out again.
    Thanks!

By putting the flavor of the week/month in the crown or endeavor store later on (so the cool kids get to brag for a while before us posers can get it later), but mostly adding recolorings to scribing. For example: I was really looking forward to playing a Nord ranger/hunter/opportunist character, and since I'm hailing from the north, I wanted a polar bear by my side, but alas... the polar bear recolor option was only available in crown store for a week in August. And cost a whopping 1800 crowns, I mean come on.

Fix what was broken with AwA for alts:

    1. Give us a progress tracker journal that logs key dates and individual, meaningful accomplishments that require character growth and development to achieve. Allow us to know and track, in game, which characters have done no death, speed run, trifectas, etc. Do not tie achievements to the progress tracker or make new achievements to go with it.

    2. Fix map progress for alts so that we don't have to avoid running too close to an area lest the map give us credit for content not completed on that particular character. This would likely require separating map progress from achievements.

The fact that alt progress is all smooshed together and broken has caused me to spend significantly less time in game.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.
