Yeah, there's no point. I'm certainly not going to continue to engage with people who genuinely believe that slurs and sexually derogatory hate speech is acceptable just because they're so good at a video game that they have "stronger emotions" than literally anyone on the planet in any other hobby or profession.

There's also no point in trying to argue relative importance, or even professionalism, with people who don't have to pay their own bills.

Damn that sucks. It's so lame one can't have a constructive conversation on the forums without being personally attacked...

You're assuming a whole lot of things about people you know nothing about but that's ok, I forgive you.
    This you, bro?

Man, check out how black that kettle is, am I right?

That is just a factual statement.

Is there something wrong in being average or not being super good at something? So much underlying resentment here!

I'm very happy for people who live normal lives and enjoy them to the fullest. I am also very proud of what I've accomplished in mine, of all the effort I've put into something to excel at it. That brings me joy, is that wrong?

I don't have to assume anything, I know that someone who doesn't understand competitive mindset hasn't accomplished any #1s or even #2 or #3s or #300s in their life - it's pretty obvious from the way someone types and argues.

    Nice try though.

Or maybe they've accomplished so much that this level of status and achievement is meaningless to them? But this is getting very far from the topic at hand.

Also, poor sportsmanship is taking out your frustration on your opponent or not respecting your opponent after a fair game - not fuming in private afterwards, that is being human.

Assumptions, since it's not about liking him or not, but about his behavior towards other players.

And again, not a witch hunt, but reporting a serious situation that needs attention.

I agree with you, yes, that ZOS is the jury here.

Highly doubt that, you're all here jealously posting about better players wanting to get them cancelled and not understanding a word written by another human being.

Unless that sense of accomplishment is outside of the scope of competing, and this is entirely my point: there is nothing wrong with being just a normal person, living a normal life - just like there is nothing wrong with being more ambitious and dedicating your entire life to something.

Judging other people based on what they find important in life is... disgusting, to say the least.

If that player is really part of the Stream Team they should be removed immediately. The behavior in that clip is immature and hateful and not an accurate representation of this game. I hope they take action, sooner rather than later.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno

Can we close this thread? There seems to be a lot of heated debate on this subject, and does not seem necessary for the forums.

    This witch hunt is ridiculous.

Private profile, probably your first comment here, asking to close a thread on such an important matter. Sounds suspicious to me.

And it's not a witch hunt. The same way we collaborate reporting exploits, bugs, testing this and that, providing feedback, filling surveys, etc., etc., etc., we have the right to come and expose something that we understand is bad for the community and the game.

Luckily, your opinion on the matter means little on the subject. Whether I've been here for 10 years or 1 year, I have the right to have an insight on a public forum.

Going above and beyond to get this person banned because you don't like them...creating a forum, creating a poll etc, etc isn't a witch hunt? Spending days gathering support from people and attacking them.. isn't a witch hunt? The mods and devs are the ones who control these matters, not you. Report them if you wish and move on. It's not that hard of a concept.

There was no witch hunting involved. No names were even mentioned. This isn’t about personal attacks or targeting someone—it’s about pointing out bad behavior from an official ESO Stream Team member and making sure it’s addressed. Keeping things transparent and public is important, especially when someone representing the game breaks the rules.

So are you going to to this to every person that cusses, bags, calls you a name? Because I have yet to see that happen. You're holding someone to a higher standard than everyone else especially when this happened on a separate website.

I still think they should close this forum

Witch hunt?? I haven’t named them and the clips are highly edited for it not to become a witch hunt which I’m glad of.
I’ve posted to ask if the behaviour is acceptable for an Official Stream Team member, not Twitch or a personal streamer standards but one intended for new and existing players of the game and maybe those that don’t play so much anymore. More so, their behaviour seemed to be a reaction of embarrassment which enraged them somewhat. I pointed out the exploit to inform them they were exploiting and to stop them showing it to their viewers. I didn’t expect them to go into an all out rant of an explicit nature and become offensive towards me.
This is the first post of the sort from me. Ive never reported anyone in game before this weekend. I think that’s pretty telling of the situation.
@ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_GinaBruno do you have anything to add yet? The post has had moderation which was never my intention. I’m not looking to breed any toxicity, i’m simply looking for a response about if the behaviour portrayed in the clip is acceptable of streamers who represent the game in an official capacity.

I have the full vod of the stream if needed

I think there's a disconnect in understanding here. Every person in life is going to have their own interests, pursuits, vocations. Some of them will strive for, and achieve, excellence in them. But there is no obvious connection between that pursuit and having no self control.

Sure, people can be competitive. But losing it is not inherent in that, and in most sports, when someone does lose it they will get penalised in some way. In football they will be sent off, in tennis fined, and so on.

The immediate question in this thread is really whether people prone to such outbursts are really appropriate for a streamer programme officially affiliated with ESO, and whether that sends the right signal. Many streamers manage perfectly well without such behaviour and appear to be rather good at the game.

That's really a question for ZOS. But I'm really not following the line that to be successful you need to behave like an erratic volcano. It plain isn't true and I've seen it ruin more people's careers and pursuits than I've seen people helped by it.

If you didn't want to create a witch hunt or toxicity, then you could have easily just reported it and let them deal with it. Not create a public forum where the conversation creates heat.

Personally, going Into a stream and accusing someone of exploiting just creates problems as is. In addition, I have gotten pulled multiple times by that set, even after using a keep door so there's that.

It’s funny how some people in this thread keep contradicting themselves—not only shifting their stance on exploits depending on who’s involved but also complaining about others making assumptions about them while freely making assumptions about others. It’s a bad, hypocritical look, and honestly, it’s not doing their argument any favors.
