Where do you like doing your daily crafting writs and why?

    I prefer Solitude.

Everything is right there where you need it. Grab the writs from the board, start at Blacksmith station and work your way down the line and finish right there next to the Bank should you need it, and just past the Bank is the turn in spot right there. Doesn't get much simpler from what I've seen. And at peak hours, you never feel like there are "too many" people around, because the Wayshrine and the Guild Traders, while right where you need them to be, seem to steer traffic where it's supposed to go.The name Solitude was suitably chosen.

    Vivec City
Vivec City since 2017. Before that I used to hang around Snorhelm.

Mournhold, city of light. City of magic!

I have used this area as my main hub for years. Wayshrine surrounded by guild traders surrounded by crafting stations. Everything is right there. Plus have access to master writs and undaunted if you're with the pact. The guard count and pathing is also very minimal for easy pickpocketing and murder if that's your thing.

    Alinor
Leyawiin is the fastest I believe, but I prefer Alinor, because well, that is where all the cool kids hang out!

Having said that, I'd quite happily do my writs in Necrom also.

I cannot, however, abide Vivec City.

I don't get him saying that on the character that does writs in Solitude, because that character hasn't done the zone's main quest. My main character that has done those quests does writs in another location. Every location has its slightly annoying NPCs. My orc does writs in Orsinium, and when I login to that character, which is normally parked by the consumables writ board, you can guarantee that the altmer there will be absolutely beside herself about how amazing orc architecture is. :)

    Rimmen
Vivec City is the better place to do them in terms of one-stop stuff (Bank, Stable, writ boards/stations, etc.), but I like Rimmen. It's only a bit more spread out than Vivec, but it still hits all the major notes, I've got two houses there (Sugar Bowl Suite and Hall of the Lunar Champion), and there is almost always something entertaining happening in the area around the wayshrine. The singer next to the Provisioning station is bonus goodness.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
