Rawl'kha, as the Sleek Creek House is my primary residence so it's as easy as just coming out of my home and getting the writs done.

    Leyawiin
Leyawiin became a bit of a hub for my toons. I would've moved them to Gonfalon Bay, but some problems with loading screens kicking me from the game got me to stick to Blackwood. No loading screens to enter the crafting area, the city's Imperial and the bank's conveniently close.

That city really became a hub. I park three of my toons at the exact same spot near the wayshrine before logging off for the day. This way it feels better whenever I switch and I get the impression that spot is a liminal space connecting each one's version of Nirn (and beyond).

I know this is not quite on topic, but: does anyone else find the positioning of the writ turn-in boxes in Gonfalon Bay a bit odd? I find that when I interact with them, my character will sometimes move up the ramp in front of the boxes a bit, or even slide sideways. Other than that, Gonfalon Bay has an ideal layout for these dailies and the horse training also.

This happens in Leyawiin as well, two boxes are set a bit further back, making my chars moonwalk a moment or two before the quest completes.

The horse trainer is indeed poorly placed.

Necrom and to lesser degree Vivec City.

It used to be Vivec for all but clothing station is far. So some toons moved to Necrom.

Location of crafting stattions and nearby turn in makes the writs a breeze. I have 11 characters and can get all 77 crafting writs done in under an hour.

Alinor, hands down, nowhere else even comes close, ya go into the crafting room, grab quests, make a U shaped lap around the stations, leave area and the hand in point is right there, in and out <60 seconds from pickup to turn in

Voted for Leyawiin, with Alinor and Rawl'kha as runners up. The latter is great for newer characters, as you can stop at the stable for your daily horse leveling while doing the crafting loop around the town square.

Leyawinn because it's so convenient to everything (except a stablemaster), but I don't bother with crafting writs unless the daily Endeavour is to complete two quests.

    Gonfalon Bay
I was Mournhold for the longest time. I still think it's not a bad spot, just the provisioning station feels a little too far away.

I really like High Isle DLC and love the aesthetic of Gonfalon Bay, so I was delighted to see I could pick writs up at one door, run through a hall and hit all stations, exit through a back door and basically land on top of the writ turn-in.

Gonfalon will take a lot of beating for me to change again.

Moved all my characters to Necrom. The stables are far less inconvenient than Leyawiin, and there is no npc pushing card games between the writ boards, craft stations and delivery crates.

For one main reason, the zone is beautiful. After all these years since Summerset was released, I still love it there. It's also quite a practical layout.

    Vivec City
Vivec and Leyawiin. I used to put my characters in towns belonging to their races, but I'm much better at doing writs fast in an area that is built for efficiency - so by the end of the first year, I'd moved them all to Vivec. Now some of them use Leyawiin too because I like it as well though the enclosed space is enough smaller than Vivec's open area that I get a bit claustrophobic after the 3rd or 4th one.

I ultimately prefer Rimmen, because all my characters are khajiit :joy: But whenever a new chapter comes out, I will spend a couple weeks doing all my writs in that zone just for fun and to mix things up.

In order of my overall preference? Rimmen cause cats. Blackwood cause super fast. Vivec cause mount training. Summerset cause pretty.

    Leyawiin
I have most of my 100 crafters in leyawiin, because of it's layout.

If you have a banker and have finished mounts, it's one of the fastest spots, but I also like the look of the area.

The rest of my crafters are in vivec waiting to finish their mount training cause its a short ride to the stables.

i generally avoid doing daily writs like the plague lol

when i have done them (because the devs feel that hiding leads in daily writs is a fun time), i usually do them in the elden root in grahtwood because thats where im normally doing bag management, but i also will do them in other zones too (high isle i felt was a pretty efficient location to do them)

I used to have my characters split between Davons Watch and Alinor but now they have al migrated to Davons Watch.

They all go to sleep in the bank, but before I log out I rob the bank and kill stupid Lornor... the bounty is cleared by the next day :)
