Believe it or not there were many people raging in the forums after they started it because they would forget to claim the daily or were too busy to log in so zos caved in and now the big reward is in the middle of the month instead of the end.
And it's 100% better that way too.
Better? They used to give us great rewards, but now its only pets.
That had nothing to do with that system.
The dlc was a one time thing. And they blanket removed crown crates from free resources or are you gonna blame them from them getting removed from eso+ too?

EDIT:
After my response I checked in the skills and the pick pocketing is under legerdemain.
The only thing the thieves guild helps with is cut your time when you get a bounty.
But now with the champions points there is options for that to and even options to help with your sneak on top of what you can get under the skills.
There is no reason why you can not pickpocket just be smart and careful. Stick to the common npc's not the nobles,priests etc and you should be ok.

Maelstrom. And yes I've completed 5 bgs and got the reward. I also did some dungeons and those did not progress the endeavor bar.0 -

You already completed a weekly so you can’t do another. Weeklies you can only do 1 out of 3 and dailies you can only do 3 out of 5.

✭✭✭✭✭I'm thinking we are seeing the Cyrodiil endeavors now more than we will in the future because they are trying to tie a few to the event. I'm hoping that is the case anyway. Not because I want less Cyrodiil endeavors but because that shows they are putting thought into providing us with endeavors related to what players might be doing anyway.
Next event I expect to see endeavors tied to content for that event show up more often than normal. I'm hoping that is the way it will work.
And for pickpocketing you can go to the harbor in Glenumbra and steal everything inside the ships then sell the goods to level legerdemain. Nobody to catch you stealing there. Put a couple of points into pickpocketing and next time this rolls around you will be ready to go.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."3 -

For the record -- Cyrodiil wall repair is generally done inside keeps. It's almost impossible to get killed while doing it.6 -

Me too. I've done all of the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, so I can do the endeavors for those if they come up, but the last time that one came up to complete a Black Sacrament quest, even though I still have several names on the hit list to complete for that achievement that could possibly "kill two birds with one stone," no pun intended, I just didn't bother because I just wasn't in the mood for it as I was concentrating on doing other things in the game that day.1 -

✭✭Sammy was levelling a newbie warden and to this one’s surprise, she can ‘solo’ a dungeon at level 12 with Mirri as dps and the trusty bear as tank (major achievement for this one’s gameplay!). wouldn’t have known this is possible if Sammy was so fed up with speed runners when trying to fulfil the weekly endeavours.5 -

I haven't tried using Mirri yet, but Bastian definitely makes it a little bit easier for me to solo dungeons. No speed-runners or laggards to deal with, just Bastian's helpful commentary:
"Are you stuck, or choosing to remain still?"
"You're exhausted! Pace yourself!"

They could also rotate the Gold Coast, Clockwork City, Hew's Bane, etc, boss dailies as part of the endeavors routine. But then I was in Blackwood doing quests (still need 6 on my main account main to qualify for Water's Edge), and wound up running through Doomvault Porcixid 3 times (because I couldn't figure out how to get to the skyshard to begin with, and I didn't know there was a second quest in there other than for Khud af-Hadajja - Love among the fire). So after all that, I had completed Kill 10 Bestial Daedra and Kill 4 Dangerous Foes.

Today's actually turned out to be pretty easy. The one ship in the harbor in Glenumbra (the Lydia) made the "steal 20 objects" trivial, because all the stuff in the hold - barrels of liquor, crates, food on tables, etc - counted. With no NPCs around at all.
And then one visit to that NW Morrowind delve (the one where the cultists are summoning Daedra, so you kill three dudes, then two basic Daedra are summoned, then an elite Daedra is summoned, in multiple places) cleared Bestial Daedra & 4 Dangerous Foes before I'd even gotten halfway through.
