Well, this is not really related to the game, but I am a computer network engineer. I travel to customer sites with the tools of my trade in a backpack.

Carrying work items to work is one thing, but I know people who bring their backpacks everywhere. Several people I work with always come in with huge backpacks and it's not to bring work related items because everything we need for work is at work.

Regardless, the last thing we need in game is a huge pack on our backs.

Whew glad it changed, after all I thought everyone in game knew that bags all have an extension charm cast on them so you can carry enormous amounts of stuff in one little bag? Bag of holding anyone? Capes on the other hand I would really like to see a cloak or cape. Somehow when I am magically traveling from the desert in my warm weather outfitt to a cold snowy area you would think I could whip out a cloak to cover up with. Purely asthetic appearance wise. I really want cloaks.

But capes lead to the same problems with the weapons on the back like backpacks.

I haven't really paid much attention to what coworkers bring to work. Even when I work a contract where I am at the same place every day, I take the laptop home with me because I get calls after hours. When I get the opportunity, and there is a shower at the office, I bring a gym bag so I can go for a run at lunch. I suppose some people bring a lunch to the office and maybe an extra jacket. Everyone's situation is different.

Get rid of big hip flaps first then add a 'hide ridiculous shoulder' option then we can talk about backpacks. I'd be more interested in extra storage slots on pets...especially the 'inventory' pets that add 5 slots that look like they should be able to carry your burdens like lydia

I can't not notice because they come in and toss these huge backpacks on the couch and chairs in our small break room, which is also where our lockers are. Or on the floor where people have to step around them.

They lug these in every day yet not once have I seen anyone open one to use something they just had to bring with them.

It's also interesting that the vast majority who bring backpacks to work are under 30. I think it's more of a conforming social statement than a necessity.

    Edna says no capes.

Not too mention all the graphic problems I forsee. Walking down the road and your feet are clipping through the cape. No thanks. Just the other day I was wearing a dress and noticed the feet clipping through the fabric as I ran.

And the overly large undies on the Timbercrow need addressed. I've noticed this feature on a few other costumes as well. There's literally no need for that wide of an underwear on anything. They could make it smaller and still cover the butt if that's the intention lol

As for inventory, I think the new companions should have a backpack of some sort on them. Also they should reference Lydia's line of 'I am sworn to carry your burdens' in some fashion.

shhhh, capes are perfect replacement in capes if all backpacks are to big and to heavy to have sense of being

I hate backpacks. I have never understood why people have to carry that much stuff around everywhere they go. The last thing I want it's to have this vile fashion accessory taunt me in game, too.

    What's next? Fanny packs?

Yes, most definitely yes. After seeing all the amazing back items in other games(allods, gw2, and now warcraft) I feel saddened each time logging into ESO with a bareback. I vehemently stand against back items that incorporate wings though.

Wings, fake cat/fox tails, flashy sparkly things like giant fire crackers on the back... eeeeuuugghhh... you're giving me horror flashbacks to RuneScape...

Solomon's store ruined the aesthetic of RS if you ask me, it was starting to get impossible to feel immersed in that world when I saw other players running past with some of the goofiest damn accessories you can imagine... Say what you will about eso, but at least most of the cosmetics look like they fit the world that they belong in... MOST, but not all... I mean, when you see a max short, max fat, pug-faced balding orc in neon pink metal armor named "TooSexy"... xD

Hmm. I wonder.... if perhaps they are carrying everything important in their lives because they have no actual secure space where they live.

I'd rather a satchel, but yeah backpacks are good to. Would love any kind of bags/packs/hip pouches.

Having such options would be very nice :)

I would love the option to hide backpacks from those costumes. This would need to be the toggle in Gameplay options, same as we can hide mount upgrades and polymorph helmets. I've just bought Dungeon Explorer costume, and I really love the sleek look of it... except for the backpack :/ It looks very nice, detailed and everything, but I would prefer to have it hidden most of time. I would enable it only for some screenshots.

Stopped playing RS in 2007 so luckily I never got to witness the decent into degeneracy. Hopefully ESO never implements stuff like that, there's lizard and cat people for that type of thing.

All that I want to see in ESO that will complete my character are rogue masks like the Red Defias Mask from WoW and a awesome back item that isn't tied to any chest item or costume.

Would metaphorically kill though for a building mode that functions similarly to Valheim using different racial themes for each construction material. That's just a wishlist option though lol.
