Rantog✭✭✭✭Even w/o the bots, those who paid for imperial Still aren't getting 100% of what they paid for. The purchase page lists 6 - distinct advantages to the edition, one of them is the ability to Craft items in Imperial style.
- We never got that feature... except those who play imperial race.. but that isn't required for the similar feature of Converting items TO Imperial style, nor to ride the Imperial horse, or anything else.
They won't take it F2P yet - they have to get that first month or they'll go belly up.
But I think they are in for a Rude Awakening when they realize just how many of us are going to cancel ~ 4 days before the first payment is due.

Should just wait for 1-2 months then there will be a major purge of gold seller/spammer/buyer, botter, exploiter, etc. At least that how most new mmo launch have been so far. Seems like most people want action now for every single bot they see. Just a single stolen credit card info can net them 100s of account easily.0 -

shouteha✭Haha sound illegal but it is in their ToS. You paying to use their product aka borrowing the "account". The account is rightfully theirs and they can terminate or do whatever they like with it whenever they want. So, in short, it is legal and you can't sue them for it, but they can sue you if you pay->get ban a week later-> call cc company to deny payment.0

Everyone who has Imperial edition can make their armor into the Imperial style by right-clicking the piece of gear and selecting the option. You can only do it to certain items, such as crafted items and some of what you pick up in the world only. I've picked up items that wouldn't allow me to transmog them.

Honestly, i think ppl so worried about bots should just rein it in a bit. There will never be an end to them in MMOs. Ever. And you know why? Because some kid with too much cash from mommy and daddy or some rich dude who'd rather pay to win is always gonna be there to buy <insert ingame currency of choice>.
Yes, ZOS should do something to keep them in check, but there will never be an end to them. Its just flat ridiculous to demand a free sub over it.

b101uk✭✭✭The chances are, very few people have got to the stage for where there is no more content left thus they are up around 100% of the game done, MOST people will be with still be in the 1st faction with the remainder still in the 2nd faction stuff, while a small minority will have made it through to the 3rd faction quests, which still leaves the PvP areas.
So unless your in the very small latter minority it is TOTALLY pointless in arguing that your not getting 100% of the game you paid for IF your NOT in a position of play to use 100% of the game anyway, thus as yet you haven’t suffered ANY loss, likewise your rights (or lack of them) are set out in the ToS/EULA which you accepted in order to play the game.
You would have more of a chance of perusing legal recourse with the 3rd parties who are actually running the bots, as they are clearly in breach of the ToS/EULA (contract) and ARE the people you/many perceive as causing the problem directly, the problem would be getting the details from ZeniMax Media Inc, which would take a court order, or IF you were very lucky just starting the legal process in UK civil courts then issuing a part 18 request for further information (names and addresses of bot uses) which would obligate them to give that information within 28 days or otherwise prove it didn’t exist, else the court would order it being handed over, but court actions cost money, especially in civil matters.
