i was just in a dungeon. For every 2 seconds i was able to move i couldnt move for 10 seconds. Took me over 10 seconds to go into sneak. at the end of the dungeon i tried to look into my inventor and all the menus were blank. Just the border, than my whole UI disappeared.

    quality stuff.

I feel i have no choice but to cancel my eso sub since why would i pay money to a game i cant play half the time.

I guess if you have been playing since the summer of 2014 the performance is, in fact, acceptable.

I hate to be that guy, but I am very fine here. Running the game on ultra and from questing to dungeons everything is fine, I updgraded my PC relatively recently, so I haven't tried PvP. But before I couldn't tell what killed me, because of lag.

I think the problem lies in the hardware, since I am fine and others not (asuming our PC gear on the same level) I would asume that it is not optimized for some GPUs or CPUs. So in my humble opinion they just need a better optimization for under performing hardware, under performing because of their engine that is.

On a side note, they have the same issue in SWTOR, only it is worse, FPS drops are attrotious there, both in dungeons and PvP, even for my upgraded PC. All that while I see people in general chat saying they have 100 FPS in PvP, and I am sitting here with my 40 PvP FPS in wonder. And 40 FPS is considered good, since standard is 20-30 FPS....

The solution to this is fairly simple in my opinion, temporary solution. In system requirements add a note which hardware is supported the most, and they know which I think, since they tested it on something after all. Buuuuut, I doubt they will do it, since people with not supported hardware won't buy the game or sub, so it cuts their profits.

Once more, I personally have seen improvements from load times to fps increase. Only time I get bad issues is pvp but that goes away when I lower my graphics from high to medium as my pc is not that great. From what I have gathered, ppl with mid range pcs seem to be seeing overall improvement where high end sees a decrease. I wonder if it's a comparability issue between the game and hardware.

Over all, update 25 has made my game run way smoother and faster. But most major updates like This come with a couple weeks of hot fixes. You never know fully how things will go till you launch live.

And I like how they spent so long messing up block cancelling to, "reduce server strain via excessive calculation." Well ZOS, you spent so much focus messing up core mechanics of the game that many new bugs have been introduced, causing a net decrease in game performance, SMH, this game should be so much more than it is!

Can’t PvP since new patch BG or Cyro due to all issues acknowledged by ESO dev team for which they presently can’t fix.

I already have adapted to subpar performance due to being an oceanic player but the recent patch just has made PvP unplayable.

The most I can do is PVE overland and housing stuff but it gets boring after awhile.

I hope you find a solution soon Dev Team.

I wonder how long people who are going "give them time it's only been x amount of time" will keep saying this. Months from now if things are still as busted or worse than they are now, will they still claim that we should just keep waiting? The game has been live for nearly 6 years now, how long should we have to keep waiting for a game that works?

And I'm sorry, but saying "oh but this was a patch that reworked all the code" and such isn't an excuse. An overhaul of this magnitude should have been in the PTS for much longer than a standard DLC update, and ZOS should have spent longer testing it, simply because of the nature of this update.

Granted a longer PTS cycle might not have done much good, seeing as most people no longer really bother with it thanks to ZOS rarely acknowledging issues that are raised during said testing. Most people don't like feeling as though their time is being wasted and the feedback they're providing is falling on deaf ears.

I used to always play PVP in Cyro, like ALWAYS. Now, I don't even bother going into a campaign because my PVP guild will no longer run groups until it's fixed and when I try to play solo the game either goes to load screen just for me to 'wake up' dead or my attacks don't work or there is a horrendous lag. I play on Xbox and I am NOT ready for the update tomorrow. Especially since it will probably only make it worse.

What a great idea! Im sure that will fix the massive ability delay, unresponsive break free, horrible targeting issues, ghost casts found in... Bgs, duels, even pve.

    This isnt a cyrodil complaint.

Many would sue the company for false advertisement. However, ZOS can intentionally mess the PvP up, hypothetically speaking ofcourse.

It's not game-breaking for me as I only solo or duo and nothing that challenging .. but there are problems. Much more invisible mounts and running on top of mounts. Sprint from the Wayrest shrine to the Undaunted camp, then wait 15 seconds to be able to talk to anyone, then another 5-10 seconds til they are actually visible. Getting stuck in a heavy attack, skills not firing, not cripplingly bad for me but definitely noticeable.

    The Good:
Frame rate increase, huge decrease in load time, generally smooth play in PvE when not having to block (...lol).
    The Bad:
Regular crashes seemingly related to block (??), many skills are broken (such as gap closers going through stealth), block dropping for seemingly no reason at times (maybe bar swap related). In Cyro, I get stuck on a single bar sometimes, sometimes huge amounts of input lag and I have no idea why. DCs are less this incremental than last but still occur, and not sure why.

ZOS should try to find ways to incentivize us playing on PTS if they can't afford to thoroughly internally test this stuff.

What I don’t get is, I’m one of those people that mostly just decorates and does writs and even I have noticed more lag than ever before.

Even doing my writs now, there’s a huge delay when picking up each quest, in between crafting each item, and turning them in. There’s delays accepting attachments from mails and depositing in banks. And there’s delays placing furnishings in housing.

Been playing for four years and have NEVER had basic functions like picking up a quest, depositing an item, or dropping a candle in a house require a few seconds of lag which really adds up when you’re doing a lot. Wtf is going on?

The sad thing for me is that i have been playing PvP since 2014 and back then when we had more campaigns, more players per side and yet it performed SO MUCH better than it has done for the past couple years. It has gotten to the point i can no longer play during prime time as a STAMDK trying to use dizzy or crit rush is bad enough with 4-5 second skill delay, but with the current patch on PC not only do i have the delay but straight up having to hit abilities multiple times just for it to fire off which half the time it does not. Pathetic.

even in dungeons mobs start moving back and forth in place without attacking, like stuck in movement.
spellqueue is awful, it forgets spells you queued to cast.
aoes don't land on first placement.
spells launch animations but don't fire.
gap closers move you to the target but the target is not hit.

Yup. I spend a majority of my time RPing or doing crafting stuff, and yet I get hit with ridiculous ping and lag. Loading times haven't been fixed on my end at all, if anything they've gotten worse, and if you're porting to and from a house to make furnishings or traveling around during RP or something, those loading screens can add up too.

I also notice that zoning into one of my houses that furnishings still take a while to load in, and in the world things still don't load in for minutes at a time (I do my writs in Summerset, and a lot of the time when I go to turn my writs in, the writ boxes haven't loaded in yet). I still see black silhouettes of other players that haven't loaded in yet, I still have issues where large patches of area are untextured and not fully rendered after being there for a while (sometimes the bank in Summerset will be untextured the entire time of me going to do and turn in writs). I know there are people not having problems, but for an update that was touted as fixing stuff like this, the fact that so many people ARE still having problems like this is really, really disheartening.
