Performance is unacceptable

From.Xbox NA I can tell you right now performance has NOT improved. And from what I can see, it's only going to get worse.

I think the problem lies in the hardware, since I am fine and others not (asuming our PC gear on the same level) I would asume that it is not optimized for some GPUs or CPUs. All that while I see people in general chat saying they have 100 FPS in PvP, and I am sitting here with my 40 PvP FPS in wonder. And 40 FPS is considered good, since standard is 20-30 FPS....

The solution to this is fairly simple in my opinion, temporary solution. In system requirements add a note which hardware is supported the most, and they know which I think, since they tested it on something after all. Buuuuut, I doubt they will do it, since people with not supported hardware won't buy the game or sub, so it cuts their profits.

Questing and dungeons arent the problem...

Not to get into a PC pissing match, but I have over 7 grand in my rig. It is capable of pushing most triple A titles in ultra high settings well passed 144 frames at 3440 x 1440, and yes my monitor will hit 200 hz. We are all influenced by our own experiences, but to be candid, you have no frame of reference if you are ignorant as to how PVP performs.

It is rare that I see my FPS dip below about 90 FPS outside of 12 man trials or Cyro.

I like this game a lot, cannot actually play it because skills don't fire and the mechanics of combat don't work in this patch. There is no "tolerating" it or trying to get around it, the damn game is broken now and unless they admit that is what happened I have very little faith that it will be fixed

I have given up. I will be downloading the new CoD Warzone game tomorrow because today was the final straw. I actually managed to 1vx a few ppl today for the first time ever, and as I was about to kill them, all my abilities failed me, and I was stuttering around like I was having a seizure. This is no longer healthy for me, and just makes me constantly angry. They have until New World comes out to fix this absolute dumpster fire, otherwise I can guarantee this game will collapse harder than Wildstar.

Right now I have no issues in Trials & Dungeons. No problems picking flowers or chasing rainbows. Zero lag when farming nodes or crafting.

PVP in the less used campaigns is terribly laggy with all the fun stuff people in this thread have already mentioned. Delayed skills, unable to bar swap, etc.... it's playable but not a lot of fun.

PVP in Grey Host... is hilariously bad! I spawn in the Base & hit the button to mount up... nothing... patiently wait... try again.. nothing.. decide to walk there... go about 10 steps & teleport back to where i was but now i'm on my horse! No add-ons, only a few other players on screen & the closest fight is at Ales. The actual fights are completely unpredictable. I have run stright though massive enemy ground AOE without taking ANY damage.. normally those overlaid meatbags/ AOE skills & ultimates would melt me... did not take any damage at all. I place a meatbag & try to fire it & just get a message displayed "Meatbag catapult is busy" ... W T F !? LOL

They made performance worse with a patch that was meant to make it better...

Performance has been bad since I started but it's worse than ever right now. It doesn't even matter what time of day I try to pvp lol. It can be empty and I can be int he middle of nowhere fighting a wolf and my skills still don't go off.

Break free hardly works, all skills require multiple presses, everything (even chat and mounts lol) have a delay and all this happens while it says my ping is fine.

So not only did they make the game basically unplayable but it's also very consistant, because I haven't had a break from the lag yet, no matter what time I try to play.

Performance is *** poor. I am at a loss of words. My latency can be well within acceptable means (100 for ping) and yet it takes at least 3 tries to activate a skill, and that's not even during prime time. Skills don't activate, incoming damage isn't queued correctly with the attacks of the opponent, break free is delayed, block doesn't work half the time. This is a patch meant to be for performance and yet somehow you guys still *** it up and to boot, it's worse! How is that possible? In all honesty though, if there is a silver lining in all of this, is that the incompetence shown by ZOS has only reinforced my belief that not a single penny is deserved to give to ZOS. In addition it has allowed me to spend my time on other more productive endeavors other than playing this trash game. For that ZOS, I thank you.

This is totally terrible and as usual it punishes solo players the most. Yesterday I died 3 times with just 30 kills because of this and if you think its not very much, let me just tell that with better performance I am able to pull around 150 kills (~80 KBs) to 0 deaths in Cyrodiil! Imagine the frustration, when you not only know what to do, but also try to do it, but game sends you big "F..K YOU".

Unsubbed till it gets better.

Fact is, fixing lag is beyond ZOS programming skills. Empty promises, balance changes completly out of touch with the Community and devs that ignore PTS Feedback "cause they know better".

You know the performance in Cyrodiil is bad, when you set up a ballista to shoot the Front Door of a keep and you get a message saying "Target is immune" over and over again.

Even the keeps in this game have had enough and don't want to play anymore.

Update 25 is the worst patch ever released.
If this isn't fixed game is completely finished, and I've stayed through the worst of them.

Played and subbed on and off since day one.

Me and my whole guild are unsubbing, this patch has been the nail in the coffin.

I've spent over US$200 since update 25 was released on other games, because this patch is just so bad.
As have many of my other guildies, and lots more players in general, plus your losing subs like nothing before.
All of which could or would have been spent on crowns.

Unless this is fixed, say goodbye to millions of dollars.

I like how I have to be right on top of a crafting table to use it now, if I'm an inch away 'the target is out of range'.

I like how my abilities don't work sometimes for several key presses, and how my bar swap likes to lag now.

I like getting hit with random fps drops and giant ping spikes when standing in the middle of nowhere by myself, including in one of my own houses.

I like how textures and models still sometimes take upwards of a minute to actually load in and render fully, even though stuff like that was supposed to be fixed.

I like seeing black silhouettes running around still even though that was supposed to be fixed.

I like getting caught in numerous infinite loading screens, or long load screens, even though loading times were supposed to be improved.

I like CTD'ing or getting kicked to the login screen, sometimes repeatedly in one day, when I'm just doing normal stuff like writs, farming mats, or trying to reload the UI.

Basically I like how the performance update, for me and a lot of other people on the forums, didn't do squat to improve stuff that it was put on this pedestal to fix, and in some cases has broken things (like the whole blocking kicking people to login in). I know that there are always a slew of things that go wrong with any major update, it's practically an ESO meme at this point, but an update of this magnitude needed more extensive and intensive testing to ensure it actually did what ZOS spent months advertising it would do, and especially that it wouldn't break the stuff that it has.

I'm even getting hard freezes now, no ticket offered, just screen freezes and I have to logout of my windows account for it to close the game.

Many would sue the company for false advertisement. However, ZOS can intentionally mess the PvP up, hypothetically speaking ofcourse.

LOL you're joking right? Good luck trying to sue a company on performance issues when your connecting to a server over the internet that could have 1 of a billion issues going on at any given time. Plus, trust me on this, their contracts you agree to every time you sign in are combed through by an army of lawyers and are air tight.

Tos for the most part are not binding. They are there to fool people that think they are.

Xbox EU Cyrodiil is pretty bad, but it has its ups and downs in performance. Last night, pretty well populated, ran without flaws for me. While some days, you can't swap bars or even light/heavy attack.

We've seen PS4 players switch to Xbox here, because they think it's a bit less laggy and broken. So we have a few low level PS4 players around now. To me it seems every platform is equally broken, I can only judge from what I see/read/hear though. Hope it gets better, or people are quitting for good, and it's not just something you say anymore.

Didn't log in last night but over the weekend I was getting those shadow people (where other toons haven't properly loaded all in yet) whenever I would port to a new zone. First time I've seen em since the patch and I thought that was suppose to be one of the fixes too o.O

There have been at least three different posts from Gina in the past week (March 3, 6, and 9) stating they’re aware of the various input lag and desync issues introduced with the crash fixes. Their current fixes are still being tested to minimize the introduction of new problems. I won’t defend the state of the game, but they have acknowledged it.

PC EU here*

Gave up in Cyrodill at around 19:30 PM CET with our 5 man group as 'non apparent' lag started.
- FPS meter shows good FPS (40-100 FPS with no real significant drops, if so a restart fixes it)
- Latency meter shows between 50 - 300 ping max depending on who/how many is in front of you

Please ZOS, if you get this patch out nice and neatly and it works, then please make the next step an investment in Cyrodill, you really can't ignore your PVP aspect of the game any more.

To be clear. This is not the devs fault. Im sure they work their butts off and have great passion for the game. Whether they haven't had the resources, the manpower or w/e excuse management uses. They failed the devs and us

They removed my post about Performance Failure and where I was explaining that it was the biggest lie sold so far in ESO! Lots of promises have been made and off course as usual we as players are disappointing once again!!!!

i have a complaint about typical beginner and crafting areas (like Daggerfall) - there need to be more instances of those with less players per instance. People do all kind of nonsense there which is really a drain on performance and leads to stutter and broken sound - it is simply not acceptable and especially in a beginner area this is as well bad for the experience of new players. Just in the early morning hours for the server location it is better, but otherwise it is a pain having to do dailies there.

Ok, i could just do that in Hew's bane or at home, but I shouldn't be forced to go elsewhere just by performance reasons - this is not immersive at all.
