Thanks for the info, but that was consistent. I dont report anyone, lest ZOS CS staff get confused and mistake ME for the one who did something wrong. Yes this does happen.
I dont talk in zone chat. Whats the point? If you say something someone doesnt like, they can right click your name and report you for no reason. Maybe theres a small chance you'll get banned. But honestly why take the risk?
At this point with their heavy handedness in dealing out suspensions and bans. Its best just to play solo and shut up I think.3 -

Most other MMOs take an unwritten policy to ban the sellers and not the buyers. This game is still early/young enough that they can expect most buyers to just buy new accounts. Also, getting all the duped gold from the bank glitch out of the economy is needed due to how egregious the offenders have been.Edited by luceri84b14_ESO on April 18, 2014 1:45PM0 -

Sounds to me like you were permanently banned for Gold Spamming. I'm very happy they are doing these bans!

Seriously, not necessary. Sadly, your bitter and unjustified opinion is how their Customer Service is as well. LOTS of players are getting accidentally banned by their automated software. For all we know George Smith, you are a gold seller and power leveler from China who used the duping exploit to make millions of gold.
When it takes several emails to Customer Service, then a very sharply worded email demanding the contact information of the Department Head to even have your case moved to Appeals, something is wrong.
The email I got from Customer Service after correctly filling out the Support form said, Yeah, your account was banned. Warmest Regards.
That was it, no reason, no time, no info on who to talk to, NOTHING. That is unacceptable.

xFusionx✭Same... was minding my own business playing yesterday AM and got banned for no known reason. Let's be honest here, if they have a ban process/policy it's not public knowledge AND apparently they can't tell us WHY we're banned. I haven't duped, nor have I botted - Zenimax made a mistake plain and simple.
In their knee-jerk reaction to deal with the whole duping issue they decided to cast a wide net which means they banned dupers, botters and a certain percentage of normal players which they deem acceptable. If they're OK with punishing players that had nothing to do with the dupe - That tells me that they cannot truly identify every player that took part in it.
Overall, this experience has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and showed they don't have the administrative know-how/ ability to manage this type of issue... Seriously, if I duped - why am i running around in green gear? Zenimax, use a little common sense.
Don't seven get me started on their lack of communication...
I sent a total of 4 tickets in before getting a response just this morning and they said that I shouldn't have been banned, but my account won't be off the list until possibly 4pm EST today. So incorrectly banned for two days because of Zenimax's inability to properly assess accounts.

Actually in lotro and other games, as a buyer you get one warning saying hey, what you did is wrong, the second time you do it, bye bye.

Boting is pretty easy to detect , so complainers if you got hit with a ban for boting well that too bad for you , but the ban probly got excuted for a reason so , i saw 2 Groups of bots in the same public dungeon yester day and the day before that and its pretty easy to detect them , so im happy thease bots gettting removed , just wish it will be done faster to get the game more clean !

Totally false, those who were kicked here were in an area where there is NOTHING beneficial for botting, we were in an endgame QUEST ONLY area, Molag Bal's library on Coldharbour.
