Wow, I'm almost afraid of logging in this evening after getting home from work. ZOS is screwing up badly and this is only the first couple of weeks. I keep hoping they will get their act together but it's not looking good so far.

I was at work, I came home, and now I'm banned. I was not playing at the time, so I don't think anything I was doing was related to my ban.

I'm completely dumbfounded by this.

To reiterate for any mods that might be perusing this thread: I was in Siliumm, reported 5 apparent afk botters on the boss spawn. I only participated in one boss killing and then moved on. Went to Daggerfall to sell/deconstruct my full inventory. Got kicked to character select while deconstructing at the woodworking bench. Loaded back in, continued deconstructing, then got kicked to login screen. "Account information is incorrect, please try again". Multiple attempts yielded the same results. I went to my account page to check for problems and got the "You have been suspended from the site". I then came to the forums to look for help and found this thread.

Just going to add my voice to the chorus of users who are now apparently falsely banned. After patching today, I logged in and rolled a new character to try out a Nightblade build. He made it just out of the starter area (Coldharbour) and took about 10 steps before I crashed to the login screen. Just like everyone else, I tried to login and was told my information was incorrect. Hitting F1 directed me to the ESO site, where I was informed I was suspended from the site.

As has become extremely evident at this point, none of us are cheating. I rarely even play outside of solo play, and just only recently joined a guild to run some pvp with in Cyrodiil. Also just like the others here, I hadn't even heard of the dupe problem until people started talking about it today. Heck the guild I joined I never even withdrew anything, I just deposited mats for others to use.

But yea, this doesn't bode well for the future of the company. Banning legitimate players in mass is very bad form. Bad enough that I'm sure many of us are offended enough to just not play the game.

I've enjoyed the game, it's been fun. I keep to myself, I do my quests, I play some pvp. I've endured a multitude of downtimes at the most inopportune times, I've even went so far as to 'try' to help with the spam problem by reporting most sellers I see, and I've been positive up to this point. But this kind of treatment, for me, warrants a cancellation of service and a 'lesson learned' from me. Game's good, but it's not good enough customers who play legitimately should be forced to jump through hoops in some attempt to access their accounts. I wonder, honestly, how I could cancel if I wanted to since I'm suspended from even logging in?

That happens when you respawn immediately after dying. Which I started doing. Because the *constant* screaming was annoying.

I got suspended as well. I am (was?) literally the biggest fanboy ever. I have reported dozens of goldspammers and sent numerous feedbacks and suggestions. Now I am off? For what f***ing reason???! I remember I received a message from some *** saying "reported", literally seconds after logging in yesterday. If they automatically ban people without checking the case - this will lead to a full-out campaign of former fanboys flaming this crap to the ground. Absolutely unacceptable! Or was I banned because of my repeated messages about the bank slot bug? I was hit with it 4 times and didn't get anything back. Maybe instead of fixing, they decided to get rid of demanding customer???

I just got suspended while doing a group for world bosses/dungeons somehow, just tried calling customer support but it hung up after about an hour

My husband just got wrongfully accused of this as well and banned.

We will both be leaving. I was a big fan of ESO and stood behind them even through all the mess and bugs, but we are taking our money elsewhere.

This is just wrong.

I just was in PVP with my guild, died and when I resurrected I suddenly got kicked out of the client, it said another login request has been detected.
I restarted the client, tried to logging "login information is incorrect" On the Website: "Your account has been suspended"

Whats going on?! I haven't spammed, sold or bought gold, nor shared my account information with anyone. I cannot believe this.

I usually never comment on forums, but I am just so very frustrated with the service from this game. I was also wrongfully banned. I had been having issues with the laggy servers since logging on earlier today and I had to reboot my game a few times because of it getting stuck on loading pages. I was then just playing when all of a sudden kicked and later find out I had been banned. I had been so excited for this game and was enjoying playing it solo for the most part. I am very sad that this issue is being handled so poorly and I hope they figure it out soon.

Just happened to me too about an hour ago, was just questing with some friends I know outside of the game and I just got booted from the game. It told me a login had been made to my account from another location, so I thought I had been hacked. I go to change my info and it tells me I have been suspended from the site. I haven't done anything wrong in game, unless spending most of my time collecting mass resources for crafting is a bad thing. I own the physical collector's edition of the game, I am not here to break it. I'm here to enjoy the game with my friends.

I played Wednesday night, logged out, had a fine time as I was able to get the werewolf bite. It was great! I had soccer kid stuff yesterday, so I did not log in one time yesterday. I work days, so I came home this afternoon, patched, attempted to log in and failed. Went to the account site after a few tries, tried to log in and got the Account has been suspended.

No idea what I did wrong. I was never kicked out of the game. I called support, on for 34 minutes and 37 seconds when I was disconnected. Submitted a call back ticket: 140418-062687 and I have heard nothing so far.

I am not real happy right now. I pay for two accounts (my teenager plays the game too), I am seriously wondering why I should be paying for this.

their ban script picked up people not involved with the dupe bug (I still don't know how this is done). I don't understand why people would dupe? It is a video game and as soon as you cheat the enjoyment dies. Here are my tickets I was banned as well 140418-061308 and 140418-060704.

Well ill add to the long list. I was questing along in grahtwood by the lord mundus stone and bam put me at charater select chose my character. I went to load then it disconnected me saying that someone else has logged into the account. Then tried to get in again, and tells me it was the wrong info. So went to account and it says, like everyone else here: your account is suspended.

I guess, falling in a bottomless pit/through the floor (the two are actually the same thing) just spams some /command in chat, presumably /stuck to kill the character. So that is a false positive for spamming the chat, they must have forgotten to put in a condition for it in the code.

EDIT: This is actually verified by my client, I live in Hungary, which far away from the USA, so I experience extreme lags. As a result, whenever I die because of falling in open space, I die twice, one while falling, one after respawning at the wayshrine, this is because of my latency issues.

Happened to me yesterday several times and Im in the US. Releasig immediately seems to do it.

So the question that should come up... if there is nothing found in the chat logs, how on earth were you banned in the first place? Whoever reported you should be under investigation as to why, or they need to have another look at their auto-ban system.

I think 'The Final Assault' is WAY past my level, and not really sure what you mean by that. And although there is benefit to deconstructing material, those items take up valuable inventory, but I can run around and harvest nodes and not worry about it since they stack. I just fear that one day I might run around harvesting mats and be banned for just playing the game. (side note: if repairing wasn't so expensive, I wouldn't need mats all the time to create new gear to replace my broken stuff) Sorry if derailed.

That quest is late 40s and required to get into vet content. Youre breaking into Molag Bal's crib in Coldharbour.

Tweek, I once told you that your friend who threatened to bash ESO on the youtube was to hasty. Well, I take it back. You have seen that I supported the game and tried to protect it as well I could, but now I got banned... No explanation or response. Haven't even attempted duplication, reported multiple golspammers daily, sent multiple tickets, bug reports, suggestions. Now I can't play the game. And I can't even log in to my account on the website. I had 6month subscription purchased. Now I can't cancel it. Are they just going to steal my money now? How could anyone be stupid enough to autoban people without any investigation? We all complained about goldspammers, but is banning normal players a legitimate solution to those complaints??

Did you people ever withdraw anything from a guild bank? I wonder if maybe you guys accidentally duped some things during normal gameplay and the zero tolerance policy caught you.

I think ZOS should see if they can license Warden from Blizzard.

Its also partly an autoban system, but has a much lower rate of wrongful bans. Theyve been using it since at least WC3:TFT.

I am not banned though, it just says Account suspended which I do not take to mean banned. I would think it would say ban. But I am a guild officer, so I do move items around between our guild banks for crafters to use.
