I'm a pure healer and this event has been pure hell.
Pre-mades, ganking, unbalanced battlegrounds.
Oh yeah, it's been a real hoot!
If it wasn't for the tickets, I wouldn't touch this event with a 10 foot barge pole.
For me, so far, the event has been just as boring as without double ap. The faction stacking is at a new high. One can be happy if there isn't just 2 spots on the whole map with fights, cause thats basically it. Usually one big fight at brk and another one at Ash, rest of the map: dead. Taking a resource as duo or smallscale will result in the usual abstinence of enemies UNTIL the enemy faction wins or loses at one of the 2 big spots and suddenly decides to take back said resource with 50+.
Imperial city is the same. 2 or 3 different faction zergs who don't even fight each other, just flip districts.
I don't care much about the double AP and I used to love PvP but it gets less and less entertaining, if you don't like to zerg or faction stack with the rest of your alliance.

I played exclusively solo and there were a lot of action everywhere. Basically there is farmer on each gate and crossroad and you can always fight with him if you want interesting 1v1, because farmers are usually quite skilled. XvX is fine too, burning tents and ganking siege users looks like fun if you are on defense and on offense sometimes it felt like real slaughter if there were a lot of defendersonly problem was regular kicks to login screen. Overall Cyrodiil felt more healthy then usual. Usual Cyro is zergs with cap rotation schedule, salty smallscales sitting in towers and solo players skulking around all that. I think if ESO had better performance and more PVP events and rewards + some MMR, it might become decent PVP game.

It's fun at certain hours -> If you have no job -> From 9 am until about 14:30 pm...then it just becomes frustrating or unplayable, so you log off and come back around 23pm or go to Standard Campaign where not much happens.
For the majority of players (on 30 day cp lock camapign) I can't imagine it's much fun unless they just crunch one HOT or AOE skill over and over and don't mind being sent to the login section every 30 minutes or so.
Mixed feelings.

I haven't yet ventured to IC. It's one of my favorite places in the whole game but I'd been hesitant to because of the issues with griefing in the past. Sounds like it's worth a whirl, though.
The best part, though, has been playing on my magden and actually feeling competent. One of my guilds had a dueling contest for fun a few weeks back and I was able to spend some time honing my build and skills and I've actually got something put together that's effective. I've killed, like, TEN people and haven't died, which for me is pretty huge, lol.

What platform?
Weirdly enough, i have not been crashing or kicked to login at all even at primetime. PC EU. Not trying to "whiteknight" since i am also known to say some sharp tongued feedback when it is deserved.. maybe just been lucky but only problems been couple times some "normal" (normal to ESO) lag during primetime 3 alliances stacked to 1 keep situations, even then not got disconnected, like what happened a lot to me last summer.
In any case, nice to hear people`s experiences - sad that there has been troubles especially at the most busy hours. Hope that situation improves soon(tm).
