    This one thanks you for contacting us. We are aware that some adventurers are encountering this issue. We have reported this issue to the magus of the development team and we expect the issue to be addressed in an upcoming patch. We currently do not have a spell for a workaround available at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you please bear with us as we work on a resolution.

    Here again,

    ticket 140414-105533 marked as solved, but:

    - the bank is back to 60 slots - the last upgrade i have bought is the 3300 gold / 80 slot upgrade
    - the items above the limit are missing
    - the costs for the bank upgrade are not returned
    - new characters (yes i learned i now tried to create some mules) are forces to go through the complete tutorial again

    Consequence:

    I have now cancelled my subscription, giving them 20 days for either fixing the problem and reimburse my costs for the bank upgrades or at least open up a honest communcation with us players, informing us what is planned for this bug. If they do not solve the problem, i'll try to get my money for the game back - in worst case by legal means.

    "As noted by others in this thread - I've been having issues with hireling containers. I've submitted 2 bug reports so far about receiving empty containers."

    I've had that happen (as well as the Bank bug). My Enchanting hireling containers are all empty. I /bugged it and asked for email response (without receiving any response of course).

    I wonder if it is related to the "Bank bug" in some weird way?

    Anyway, I'm sure they may fix that one in about a year or two.

    This has just happened to me, my bank has reset to 60 from 100 and gold reset to zero. Initially when I opened the bank it was showing as completely empty, but after a reload 60 items reappeared. I am unsure as to what I have lost in both items and gold.

    As it is storage space is in short supply and now it appears that purchasing extra is a risk.

    Nirn appears to be having its own banking crisis.

    At this point, bugs have turned the game into a big headache that is not worth playing.

    Lol atleast you all got a response. Rather than a response I just got a survey asking how I felt about customer support, if my issue was resolved, ect.
    And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

    Hmm theory time - perhaps if it is happening when people are using the bank and swapping between alts somehow it doesn't have enough time to write what it needs to the d/base regarding the bank etc and thus when you log out quickly without it having fully saved the info properly it somehow resets it all to zero?

    When it happened to me, I was at the crafting station improving items. I saw my embroideries (which had been in the bank) disappear while in the improvement interface, then received duplicate pre-order items at the same time. The duplicate emails are a common thread. Logging in and out of the bank are not. I did go run to the bank in a panic when I saw my items disappear and got the emails, because I had heard of this bug. When I got to the bank, my fear this had happened to me was confirmed.

    Agreed. I love the game, but I too have cancelled. This is about as serious as MMO bugs get.

    If they fix it to my satisfaction before my remaining time is up, I'll probably resub. I'm not going to be unfair. If they don't have the manpower to go through the logs, they can just give me the gold spent on upgrades, plus and extra 20k or so for lost mats and wasted time.

    These major screw ups are what give organizations a chance to make or break their reputation for CS. IF they own up and make it right and then some, they'll win a lot of people's loyalty. Unfortunately, between the lackluster communication, slow ticket responses by robots, and the amount of time it's taking to fix, it's looking more and more like a "break" with each passing day.

    Not resolved yet. Missing two bank upgrades, about 3000-ish in gold that was in the bank, and items that were in the missing slots. This is the 2nd ticket I created. Didn't write the first reference number down and didn't get any kind of automated response acknowledging that the first ticket was created.

    Would be nice if we could see some place either on the web site or in-game what tickets we have submitted in the last 30-90 days.

    1:48 am. Context of message made it seem they understood what time it was, and why there were not reaching me. They invited me to call back, but didn't provide the number. I called the number on the caller ID last night and held for 3 hours until my bluetooth ran out of juice. I'm going to try again tonight via speakerphone while the phone is plugged into the wall charger.

    I'm also one of the unlucky. Happenend to me about 4 hours ago. I don't keep track on what is on my bank, so i dont know if/what is missing. Went down from 80 slots to 60 slots. Weird thing is that only 58/60 of the slots were taken while before the glitch 80/80 of the slots were occupied... Was browsing the guild store when suddenly the pages didn't refresh. After an relog the space was missing and i got all the mails from the headstart again.

    I keep seeing people on this thread referring to an announcement that this issue is slated to be fixed during maintenance on Friday. Where is this announcement, and why isn't there any reference to it in the original post?

    Unfortunately adding myself to this already massive list.

    Just made my first alt last night. Opened up bank in Auridon on the new toon, withdrew a few items to make space. Bank was at 90 slots. Switched back to main character, open up bank, and as I'm scrolling through my bank items it suddenly resets to 60 spaces. Within the next few hours I receive three different mailings with all the pre-purchase explorers pack stuff. This would be funny if it weren't so frustrating. I now have 6 pet crabs, 3 pet monkeys, 3 rituals of mara, and craploads of treasure maps. Heh, I would trade them all for my bank slots back!

    Logged a customer support ticket though in-game system and the ESO website. Received a rather automated response saying they're looking into it (no surprise there), but at the bottom of the ticket it says :

    Um, obviously, it's not solved. Is this just the default in the customer support system? Like if they respond to a complaint at all then it is solved? Dear ZOS customer support: a canned response to an issue is NOT equivalent to solving the issue!!!

    Loving this game, I can even tolerate the bugs (mostly), but this customer support system and useless canned responses is just killing things. Please please please, step up your support!

    The issue might be fixed on Friday if all goes well,
    But I wouldn't really count on that, some players suffer from this bug since the 1st April and still no fix so far.
    ZoS didn't block the purchase of bank upgrades and didn't warn players about the bug so there's more victims everyday sadly.

    Does anyone know how many skill points a lvl 6 character should have, not counting skyshards? I want to make sure that im not missing skill points like a lot of you are now that i can log back in. Im not sure if its 5, 6, or 7. I cant recall if you get an extra one at coldharbor or what... anyone know for sure?

    also it will be obvious if i had been saving a point or two if its missing and the numbers dont match up. But how do i check the skills? Will they be reset with the morphs missing? will they be totally gone?

    I was having a really fun bug free experience with ESO and loving it...until last night when I received the Explorers Pack and Imperial items again on and alt and my bank was reset to 60 slots. Now I pretty much can't play because my bank is full and the extra items sent to my main character filling her inventory...I have no idea what if anything I've lost beside the bank slots I purchased.

    Does anyone know if they planning to restore the bank slots we've lost or will we just have to bite the bullet and buy them again? As is I can't play because I have no place to deposit my items.

    Thanks, Lazarus. I would think they'd want to have that information in the OP on this thread, too, or at least a link, since I wouldn't think to look on a page about a patch that's already in the past.

    I have to say that I'm not really clear on what "not retroactive" means. Does that mean that the fix will prevent the loss of more bank slots, but I just have to kiss the ones already lost (and the gold to buy them) goodbye? Or that the fix will prevent future troubles, but they'll have to restore slots on a case by case basis (and thus we shouldn't expect our individual issues to be solved by Friday, but they will be solved)? I'm hoping it's the latter, but having our reports flagged "resolved" before they're actually resolved saps my confidence.

    This is the astonishing part. I can't believe the lack of concern or even ability to take responsibility this company has. They act like they are just a bunch of little kids. Sad.

    I have seen almost all the reason for the cause of this bug / issue and to be honest none of them detract from the fact it is still firmly the fault of Zenimax / Bethesda lets see the examples I have found the most ludicrous

    People swapping to alts to often and accessing banks:

    Maybe if you had given us anywhere near a decent sized bank (even just double the original size and double the size of upgrades or lower there cost) we wouldn't be forced to use character slots ( you know those thing that should have given the opportunity to try different starting factions and classes) as bank mules. And either way when was the last time you swapped to an alt in any other game only to find the game code was acting like a gold farming hacker.

    People double clicking character rather than hitting the play button when swapping.

    Really if this was the issue why have it as an option?

    Imperial edition owner being the majority of those effected.

    Anyone else feel their 1G horsey is now overpriced. and with the lack of inventory having all those pets and maps taking up room was a waste of money. And lets face it the receiving duplicates of them seems to be the catalyst that causes or occurs when the bug hits the bank / character.

    Addons

    I don't see how a user addon could effect the game code so badly and its been mentioned numerous times that lot of people effected have none... I was only using the one that lets your xp bar stay visible at the time.

    Suffice to say none of the above are suitable answers to the inadequate customer care they have shown by releasing the game when apparently this issue had been occurring in beta testing. My beta testing experience was pretty good (better than the live release in fact) a few bugged quest that's it now that still occurs in game and as I have said before I totally expected them and other minor issues.
    But to cripple the games monetary and storage system are unforgiveable. Your customers are now answering this lack of faith by cancelling subs in the first 2 weeks of release... That's amazing and isn't encouraging confidence in the game ability to continue and also is directly effecting the choices of people who were still considering the buying this game

    Now please please give us some real answers and support on this issue which has greatly detracted from the enjoyment I was having in this otherwise brilliant game which I hope to be playing for many years to come IF my prayers are answered and you can fix and resolve everyones accounts.


    My current unresolved tickets are:
    140413-148504 and also 140415-044578 bank bug tickets

    and

    140416-044136. Phone ticket number this was my 5th request for callback I finally started recording the tickets on 16th April 2014 first request was Monday 14th April...
    And on this subject I received a call this morning at 6 am AEST which I didn't answer as was still in bed.. I stated on all my request the fact I live in Australia to back up the part where u ask where I live in the form and confirmed the time difference asking you to call me at decent time in my home country..
