Yes, it's a nightmare. And the worst thing is that it has been intended that way, to frustrate players into buying eso+ each month. Instead of making you want to buy something because it's good, or cool or whatever, they decided to go the "I FRUSTRATE YOU" way. I am sure many players have a love/hate relationship with the game.

I did this once - destroyed, deconstructed, sold everything. I'm happy now! I don't hoard any more.

The inventory management only becomes a problem if you have the need to pick up n keep everything you find...

log in, grab the usual junk inside the daily log in... then log off...

Now I am thinking the daily log in is a sham to toss even more trash at us...

So now I will have to stop that as well... for what? a crate that is going to give me a junk vanity pet (to force us not to turn it into gems lol)

DESTROY ******** EVERYTHING....

Breathe in, accept that you don't really need the item, deconstruct it, and never look back...

Now I have to find a way to make space to deconstruct the items...Never ending bull...

Play the space, not the game

I just subbed again. Why you ask? Crafting bag, altho its beyond me why I did it...

The way we used to do it before the crafting bag (back when there were a LOT more crafting ingredients) and the way you have to do it in other games...Bank Alts.

On active characters I have only between 40-95/205 slots used (including multiple gear setups, stacks of foods, potions, sieges etc.), in bank I have around 350/480 (mostly master writs or motif pages I plan on selling later), storage chests are almost full with master writs and seasonal drops I hold long term before selling. And besides that I have 5 auxiliary characters that hold gear I'm not currently using and another one that accumulates survey maps in stacks. The latter are not pure "mules" but are in fact fully trained crafters, most of them with 9 traits on everything, that do writs every day, just like the others. I tend to hold master writs for a couple of months because it's more convenient for me to craft them in large batches - economies of scale. But I have absolutely no storage problems since I always decide fairly quickly if I hold, deconstruct or sell stuff on guild stores.

For items in this game they should make a Collectible system, it would inspire to me to play so much more as meta changes I don't feel like it was futile. I often skip a meta cycle or two now. Still have not farmed Loki, still AY, prob won't get Loki either just get the next meta instead. I wish it was possible to have certain items stored as collectibles.

1 ) Unique quest items (Including unique items found in dungeons and overworld):
Instead of unique quest items dropping from quest givers, have them unlock similar to a style page.
You can gold them in the collectibles tab and transmute them and enchant them.
Your changes are account wide, however, for an alt to also unlock it they have to complete the quest/dungeon/wb/delve.
You can change the trait in one of two ways, either transmute it, or add a standard item with the trait you want.
EG - Argonian Muck Minder, if you add a Golded, Shock Enchanted, Precise, MSorrow Lightning Staff it will overwrite and upgrade the collectible.
As you add, or transmute additional traits you can revert back at will.

2 ) Crafted sets
Have Grand Master writs drop. They offer no writ voucher reward.
If you complete a grand master writ, CP160, Gold you will unlock that item in the collectibles.
The Grand Master Writ will require nirnhoned trait, but in the collectible tab, you can select any trait.
As Crafted sets are not BIS, this should be account wide as it may inspire people to try tanking / healing and swapping builds around.

3 ) All other items
Have all items in the game possible to move to collection tabs, but they cannot be withdrawn and are not account wide.
The cost of doing so is that the character is stuck with it, if you want to move it to an alt, you can't, you will have to refarm it.
I was thinking to further the cost this should be be account wide, but perhaps class wide. Meaning all Dragonknights can access the same library of collected items, but for every class starts to collect items in the collectibles tab it costs you 1 house chest. You can only store 1 of each item, ie no 2 daggers, no 2 rings, just 1 of each. For instance

Class 1 - 1 small chest (If your first class you do this on is Dragon Knight, all Dragon Knights will have access to any item moved to collectibles but if you want to activate the item collectible tab, it will cost a chest to do it)
Class 2 - 1 small chest
Class 3 - 1 small chest
Class 4 - 1 small chest
Class 5 - 1 large chest
Class 6 - 1 large chest

It uses the research timer to move these items to collectibles, that way it prevents people simply racking up everything in sight and never farming locations ever again. It means if you collect all the meta, but new meta is out, but you don't want to decon the old meta, you can just rack it up and start farming the new gear.

Also, make Non-Perfect and Perfect gear complete the set bonus, but not activate the Perfect bonus unless all 5 pieces are Perfect. That way Perfect can overwrite Non-Perfect rather than having two separate sets in the collection tab.

Why I am so bored of this game is I am trapped between farming the new meta, and not wanting to decon my old. Mostly because the improvement isn't all too worth it and also with recent changes there is just as much chance that what I decon will become the new meta in U25.

If I could preserve old meta without it being a burden, I would farm the new. Let me collect it.

You don't need to level any of them, just create the guild on your main account and transfer GM rights to one of the level 1 alts. (careful - you won't be able to change any GM-only guild settings once you do that, because the GM character isn't level 10 or higher!)

There is only one, and exactly ONE reason that camps can even stack in the first place: because you can never, ever stow a camp after it's been placed.

In other words, this guarantees that all camps in the inventory will always be at 100% durability, thereby allowing them to always stack.
