No, not everyone finds it as easy as you do to find a group of people to run content.
I'm really happy for you that you don't need the tool, but if I didn't have a group finder I'd rarely be able to play in group content.

Well there surely must be a negative reasons for that. What's hard about saying Hi, how are you, wanna do a dungeon? Maybe change your attitude a bit?
And pls don't use mental illness excuses. I have several anxieties, PTSD and ADHD and I'm doing more than fine.

Strange to make those jumps in logic tbh with you buddy.
I play on console so it's difficult to use the text chat. I also play casually so it's difficult to maintain friendships with people when I may not log-in for a week or two at a time.
I am a very polite player and I use pugs most of the time as it's easy and 9/10 requests to run content will either fall on deaf ears or take too long to arrange - I may only be on for an hour or two at a time.
I'm also fully within my rights to enjoy the LFG tool without having to be called "negative" or being asked to provide "excuses" to justify myself to some stranger on the forums.
Have a nice day

And yet you turn quite hostile right away in response. I don't think I understand what just happened, you contradict yourself. As you said, it's just a forum assumption.
As a matter of fact though my best friend and colleague happens to play on PS4, and also has no problems talking up random strangers to do dungeons. Hence my assumption that one has to be of an undesirable character to have issues with grouping up.
God I was so pleased that Group Finder was down over the weekend.
I ran a ton of dungeons. I ran them as dd, healer and tank. I had no issues finding other players. I grouped up with guildies, friends and a bunch of randoms over the course of the day. We ran the dungeons we wanted, from vFG1 (it was a pledge, honest) to vDoM. And it was an absolute pleasure.
- No yolo nutters running through the dungeons
- No angry chat whining about DPS or healing or “this tank is ***, let’s vote to kick”
- No arsey behaviour, snide comments or unfriendliness
Just good chat and helpful advice when things went wrong and we had to adapt as a group, which is kind of what group content should be about. It felt great to be playing content as a team. I haven’t enjoyed dungeons so much for ages.
I did not for 1 second miss my “toxic random dungeon”, with its XP bonus.
Please, please ZOS make the Group Finder solely for BGs, where it’s actually needed and useful.

Can sort of relate to this
but, rather, it is a sense of not bothering to play in group content without the tool
it is actually a really interesting thing to me
here in ESO, will tank a few dungeons worth of pledges over the course of the day
but Fallout 76 implemented 4 person Vault Raids a while back,
and the lack of an in-game tool to sort out the grouping for me results in my never having run through the content
of course, ESO at least has the benefit of text chat being easier to manage than the force voice comms of 76
but still, access to the tool makes a powerful difference to my general gameplay

Not sure what you're reading there as hostile dude. You seem to be the one being hostile here with all that passive aggressiveness you've got going on in these replies.
Edit to add that also just because you have a certain experience with specific mental illnesses doesn't mean it's the same for others. I have anxiety and ADHD as well, and have a lot of trouble trying to talk to people in game. I very rarely say anything in guild or zone chat because it usually gets me all panicky.
