Nerfing petsorcs is a good thing, it's an over-performing brain-dead spec.
Allow players to aim for a more difficult but more rewarding rotation instead of, "I do fine casting like 2 skills a minute and Heavy Attacking, why get better"
Sure, if you're a casual petsorc will still be good for you and able to do all content besides harder vet trials.
about damn time. I always thought that PetSorc/MagSorc was ZOS's sacred cow that they were never willing to nerf, and that they just nerfed DKs instead.

I love how people who have no clue how to play petsorc are the ones who say it's an "over-performing brain-dead spec." Petsorc is one of the more difficult rotations in the game, and isn't at all "2 skills a minute and a heavy attack." Why do you comment on things you obviously have no knowledge of?
Nerfing CLOAK is a good thing, it's an over-performing brain-dead spec.
Fixed that for you. Cloak still is god mode in PvP.Wow NBs actually need to learn how to play now instead of relying on a SKILL that requires zero thought process.

Whenever I play my NB I am bored how easy you can attack and escape.
My PetSorc at least was fun even though it meant more work. Now the fun is gone.
For better balance in this game:
When will NB Cloak see rising costs as Sorc Streak?
When will NB Cloak visibility nerfed to 40%/50% as Sorc Shields strength?
When will NB pet require two slots as Sorc pets?
Probably when we see Custom Spells with the next chapter.
Probably only when all classes can Cloak this god mod skill will be nerfed...
I would trade the costly and visible Sorc Streak for the cheap and cheesy NB Cloak anytime.Victor_Blade wrote: »Yeah slapping potatoes left and right isn't hard.
Sorc streak is an actual on demand teleport while nb cloak is an elusive escape.
I knew you never played PetSorc. You should play and enjoy all classes before giving combat feedback. Because a PetSorc has only 6 slots left for Shield, Mobility, Buff and Damage, pets had to do damage because there is not enough bar space for damage skills. Now the damage of pets is gone, PetSorcs become sitting ducks.Victor_Blade wrote: »Your pets did damage, had a huge burst heal, used as damage shield to soak enemy damage while you stand behind them.
you people like living in a zoo-
Wow sorcs actually need to learn how to play now instead of relying on a build that requires zero thought process.

Pet sorcs not just ruin my immersion in the game, but lets be honest it ruins the class identity too and balance between non and pet sorc builds. ZoS either makes a different new class that is aimed at daedric combat pet summoning or deletes these pets once and for all.
Summon Unstable Familiar:
Increased the damage per hit of this ability and its morphs’ basic attacks by 20%.
Increased the damage of the pulse attack from this morph and the Volatile Familiar morph by 20%.
Summon Winged Twilight: Increased the damage per hit of this ability and its morphs by 20%.
Daedric Curse
Daedric Prey (morph): Reduced the bonus damage for pets to 20%, down from 40%.
...sometimes I wonder if people really understand things like math or logic.
Sorc pets will be amongst the strongest "DoTs" in game after this patch and are still buffed compared to what they do on Live (in particular the burst heal on Twilight, which I managed to get up to 17,3k tooltip with zero points in Blessed...).

and you are one of the guys who makes changes "official"? mkayWow sorcs actually need to learn how to play now instead of relying on a build that requires zero thought process.
so... la>1>la>2>la>3>la>4 swap la>1>la>2>la>3>la>4
requires "though process" while la>1>la>2>la>3> swap la>1>la>2>la>3>
is a "braindead mindless rotaion"...mkay...
P.S. not a petsorc btw just laughing on all
those "sorcs now have to think" comments
