If you're going to continue to treat Europe like second class citizens then I would at least expect a discount on subscriptions. As it stands we have the dubious honour of paying more money for less service.

    Yep, it sucks. Unfortunately, the NA servers are down and the status was just updated to hopefully being up early this evening (NA times).

    You probably play on NA because of friends? If you played on the EU server, you'd be in game now playing. Apparently, EU can also patch with fewer complications than the NA. *sigh*

    I dont understand why you have to take servers down during the damn day. Why cant you do server maint. both NA and EU late night/early morning when the least amount of people are playing.

    They have some major problems in game so I expect them to try to get them fixed ASAP or they are going to have some real problems down the road.

    EU server had sceduled mainenance this morning, now it is coming down again.

    I really don't see any reason for this, except they patching it to 1.04 right now.

    They did say there might be another one unscheduled in order to fix the bank issues so... *crosses fingers*

    Otherwise, go make some food, have a walk to stretch your legs, watch a good movie or a podcast, maybe say hello to your family or friends you have neglected for the past two weeks and I'm sure in two or three hours you'll be happily questing away again with less bugs and a better over all game.

    Or you could post your rage on the forums about how your entire life is ruined now. :p

    They take the servers down to fix the things you would otherwise be whining about.

    So EU had a 4 hr downtime for maint and NA is getting somewhere around 8 to 10 hr for the same maint.

    Tbh any maintenance, however brief, would be offset if we were told what this 'fix' is on top of the recent patch .. again, communication rears its obvious head.

    I want normal ETAs on every damn maintances with actual server status somewhere around here and an actual announcement ingame, not that stupid "The free period is over".

    Because, well, I'm pretty cool moving around on forums and such, but it PISSES ME OFF when I can't find the proper maintence schedule so I can add it to my own.

    Two maitenances per day is little too much i think..
    If second 2 will take same 4 hours ... lol, and at least 3 quest in Rift still bugged 2nd week.

    It floors me how much people complain about this. When you sign up for a sub you know the company is going to do maintenance. WoW, Rift, GW2, SWTOR, all did/do it. As the game gets older and more established and there are less bugs I think you will find they take down the servers less often or when they do it is for shorter periods of time. Until then I am afraid the options are 1.) Deal with it like thousands of other people have to. 2.) Don't deal with it, don't pay for the game and go to a f2p.
    I guess this sounds a little mean. I am just over people bitching all the time. You aren't the only person paying and playing this game.

    The EU Maintenance is unscheduled to fix something urgent. So calm down people, do you not have other hobbies for 2 hours ?

    There would be a ton of more outrage if the patch was done at night. Most people do their gaming at night, even those without school or full time jobs. If you do your gaming during the day then you're the minority.

    Edit:
    If I do any gaming during the day for ESO, it's for a couple minutes to research a crafting trait and/or feed my horse.

    I dont have anything about maintance but they really have to improve comunication with players, no news on web site and just a message in game that EU servers are going down in 15 min :(

    Seriously, they need to let us know the approximate time period the servers will be down. Knowing WHY would also be a bonus.
