I think half the problem is people don't read what they accept. Clearly states in the agreement that ZOS can take the servers down at any time unannounced, whenever they feel they need to.

so for those little hours i can play why is their maintenance, you can do this stuff in the morning or during daytime. why start the whole maintenance at 11 o clock O.o i may assume you start working at 8:30
even in the 5 DAY EARLY ACCES make it 3 cause half the time it was maintenance or preparing for 3 day early acces or preparing for game realease -.-* i am getting tired of not being able to play a game the i allrdy payed 110 euro's for (bought the imperial edition). i understand that you need to do the maintenance but pick better times to do it!2 -

I think they're cutting costs, like you know put everyone on us servers so they don't have to build infrastructure in europe. make maitenance in european rush hour to lower server load and electricity bills 0 -

That's not entirely true. GW2 doesn't have maintenance. When they roll out a patch, you get an ingame message saying there's a new build and that you should restart. Then your client patches and you can log right back in. Yep, there is, in fact, a better way to deploy patches than server downtimes.
That said, tho, I'd rather have maintenance than a buggy game.0 -
mikeyyyc_ESO✭✭✭Do we really need 400 different threads all about this? The first page of this subforum is literally just 10 different threads about how this maintenance sucks. Nobody is pumped, but also theres nothing you can do about it, so just entertain yourself other ways, or at the very least keep it to one thread.
Edit: I also think we need to have a forum wide discussion of what "peak hours" and "prime time" mean, because people throw those *** terms around here willy nilly, and they are almost never appropriately applied. Stop embarrassing yourself and fellow Europeans .. on second thoughts, I couldn't give a flying fig about you but stop embarrassing me.If you're going to continue to treat Europe like second class citizens then I would at least expect a discount on subscriptions. As it stands we have the dubious honour of paying more money for less service.
