    Don't know if it's related in any way, but I noticed that some of my achievements have been reset too. Specifically, the housing ones. I teleported to my inn room in Vivec city, which I have owned from day 1 of Vvardenfell's release, and used many times... And I earned an achievement for visiting it for the first time. I chjecked, and most of my not-recently-visited homes are marked as unvisited, ever.

    I haven't checked for any other achievement yet, and this is pretty inconsequential since those achievements never awarded anything in the first place, but I'd hate to lose access to some colors, titles and whatnot just because the game suddenly decided to reset my progression. BTW I play on PC EU.

    Ah, I read that wrong. My bad. Yeah, the yellow zerg was traumatizing last night. I was up about 12K TV last night...went for a sigil and BAM! Yellow zerg...dumped the rest of my now halved TV, went back in and BAM! Blue zerg...

    Back on PC patch release, i crashed while logging in and when I got back online, all my settings on all my characters were back to default. I am thinking this is something similar, memory issue or something

    That happens to me every time I log out. Thank heavens for the binder addon.

    I understand they have people ahead of me that needs assistance, but I am feeling a bit selfish right now. I have set up this weekend to really put all my free time into the game and now it might be screwed up for me.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno ... it seems this is not an isolated incident... rare, but pretty bad considering. Hopeful the elevated support team is already aware and working on this (support still not answered me via support the escalated support ticket)

    This needs to get attention before the long weekend starts.

    Has anyone responded to you to fix this yet or was it just generic emailz? This is a very weird bug and I would hate this to happen to me.

    I don't know why their customer support has been worse. I remember years ago they promptly responded and had my questions sorted. Then last time I had to contact support which was months ago they responded within a week and didn't answer my questions / resolve my issue.

    I keep getting "we cannot help you at this level, we had to escalate your case to higher support and to please be patient"

    I've already supplied them with logs, screenshots, and all the steps they asked. I've been patient, but it's wearing thin right now. The first response came in at 6:30 pm EST 8/29/19. I am worried because it is Labor Day weekend and if they leave this in limbo until Tuesday, and I will get salty (a girl can't help it sometimes) -- IF they do -- they're nothing but donkey holes.

    I hope it is something as simple as rolling back that toon! Even if they cannot -- tell me so I can get back in the game and play. I've left the game alone because I fear to cause more issues. If they would just tell me it is okay to go on another toon, for the time being, I would be okay with that for now.

    WOW! That has me a bit worried... thinking they will not be able to fix it.

    I was thinking if they do not get back to me by this evening I could just buy the skill line -- but I cannot because it says I already have it. Second, I cannot use my skill points it refunded me because it says I do not know the skills. The only option that MIGHT work is to go out there and yolo around like a potato withOUT the skills needed for my build. Maybe, just maybe it will level up and let me activate the skills again.

    I think this particular housing achievement reset has to do with them updating the Permanent Tenant achievement to include the non-base game apartments (Vivec City, Alinor, and Rimmen). I also had to revisit one to get that to pop on my main again - 2.5 years after earning my first apartment. It’s like they removed the old achievement and introduced a new achievement instead of just updating it. But it’s certainly much easier to re-earn than Alliance/Support 10.

    The responses from Support on this issue remind me of those from Bethesda Support (surprise, surprise) when characters go entirely missing in Fallout 76: “Support does not have the ability to restore your characters.” What they don’t tell you is that *Support agents* can’t restore them, but there are people who can. Sometimes it’s a matter of persisting until Support gets the ticket to the right people. Sometimes, unfortunately, it’s a matter of ramming your head against the wall until you bite the bullet and regrind the skill lines/achievements.

    I've officially been waiting for 23.5 hrs for actual non-canned help on this issue, and it is 1/2 hr until the end of the day that starts a 3 day long weekend in the US. I am so disappointed in their help system.

    I do not understand how they can be so incredibly inconsiderate and lacking employees to answer my attempts to get an answer or real support.

    UPDATE: I did not notice it before as I thought it was only the skills themselves that were locked and ranked down ... but I noticed my Alliance Skill Line for both Assault and Support -- the PASSIVES are also locked!

    ESO has some serious bugs going on and they are ignoring it (yes they are because they've not responded with anything but canned replies)

    Seriously I would think twice about playing right now until they fix this -- you just might lose your skill lines and have to grind them back up!

    Do you still have the achievement for getting rank 10? If so that should be proof enough to get them restored.

    IDK, I will check next time I log in. However, they can look at the skill line on that toon and clearly see it has been maxed but locked. I did send in screenshots with my report. The checking of the achievement is a very good idea -- THANK YOU!

    I am just sad to see how terrible the response has been from support AND seeing other posts on this issue where they did not get it resolved is making me feel very ... well... hopeless!

    They definitely have the tools to restore your character. Keep responding to their emails.

    What? Did you press them hard enough? If thats true thats one of the most ridiculous and disgusting answers ive ever seen support give. And thats really saying something.. Cant return the missing skill like? So the game just removes stuff from your account and they tell you to gfys?

    There has to be more to it than that. Especially something like skill lines and pvp ranks which take such an extremely long time to get.

    I had this happen in the past. I had a high AR toon level 40+ at the time and had a crash near a gate. All my alliance skillines reverted to level 0. I had to re-level them all caltrops vigor etc. I put a ticket in but ZOS did a big fat 0.

    Since they sell the skill lines now, they should be able to restore them. Good luck and keep us updated please.

    I actually just noticed that I'm missing a mount today. No idea how long it's been gone, but I used to have one of those senches that looks like a lion - no more. Not saying it's related in any way, and probably isn't because I don't see anything that looks like it rolled back. But losing something that some people pay actual money is pretty fishy to me and kind of concerning.

    By that time, I was really disappointed also. The fact is that I got the skill line back by playing the game a couple of days. The disappointing customer service is a problem. None should lose their skill lines. Maybe I am too kind but I felt I was wasting time with them so I did what I could. Kept on playing.
