I did check to make sure I have the achievement for that skill line and I do. I am very glad someone suggested I check that because I found something interesting.
I've been rank 10 on the Alliance Skill Line for years. The achievement date says I earned it on a Monday 8/12/2019. Is that the day we had the patch?
Then the day this happens where I lost my Alliance Skill Line -- is the same day I earned a new achievement Warlord.
Warning, you may lose rank levels if you crash. It happened to me today. I crashed while we had an active hammer. I crashed to the report tool. Logged back into character. Every Skill Line in the game came up saying I gained a skill line. I noticed skills were missing off my weapon bars. My RANK 10 Alliance assault and support went back to rank 1 and I cannot use the skills I've been using all along. I fear I lost a lot more, but have noticed it yet.
I've restarted the game 3 times and still, it has not fixed. I checked my other characters and they're fine... its just my character that crashed in-game. I am PvP rank 43 Warlord and have earned over 50 million AP. There is NO WAY I am level 2 in support and assault.
Has anyone had this happen? If so what is the fix?

@Kiyakotari many companies require staff to work on holidays. For example in an old job of mine, they would leave a small group of people to work the holiday. When the others came back to work, those that did work the holiday got their time off.
I just can't believe they left nobody at the helm, so to speak, to handle things that may arise.
What would happen if the whole server crashed? Would they say "screw it" until the holiday was over?
@Mishmash hopefully you find something else to occupy you. My experience with zos is dont plan anything.
Too bad it hasn't affected the crown store, as I'm sure they'd be right on top of that.

Edit* if you've been playing for some time you know just as well as I do that zos has been horrible with communication.
