    Being a holiday weekend in the states, idk what the chances are you'll get this resolved in the next few days @MishMash.
    I think, at this point in time, I would just quit the game if this happened to me. Needless to say, I wouldn't trust another zos product again.

    I did check to make sure I have the achievement for that skill line and I do. I am very glad someone suggested I check that because I found something interesting.

    I've been rank 10 on the Alliance Skill Line for years. The achievement date says I earned it on a Monday 8/12/2019. Is that the day we had the patch?

    Then the day this happens where I lost my Alliance Skill Line -- is the same day I earned a new achievement Warlord.

    The 12th was the day of the patch and that's when that achievement was added (didn't exist before but the achievement was needed so the game could check that you were eligible to purchase the skills on other characters).

    I hope this gets resolved for you. :(

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_BillE @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_GaryA I hope you're enjoying your long Labor Day weekend so far... a weekend you planned out for weeks (likely). I planned out my weekend too! It was to play this game.

    Trust me I've been trying since Friday i.e. I've put in my support ticket, completed the tasks they required, attached all they asked for. I did it immediately.

    Sadly --- Due to the lack of interest in my support ticket I am NOT getting any help -- so I am NOT enjoying my weekend.

    My plea's for help via the correct avenue have gone ignored. Feeling super hopeless so this is my plea to you for help. Is there anything you can do?

    In my opinion, individuals who work in this industry should still receive their days off for holidays like Labor Day and the like, but they should not receive them on the same days as the majority of the population. That way, they will be available to assist players who are planning their own holiday weekends/etc around these holidays. I say this as someone who has in more than one time in my life worked in a career in which I received holiday hours equivalent to those received by others, but not necessarily on the same date as others. It was never a great burden, as long as the difference was known in advance.

    @Kiyakotari many companies require staff to work on holidays. For example in an old job of mine, they would leave a small group of people to work the holiday. When the others came back to work, those that did work the holiday got their time off.

    I just can't believe they left nobody at the helm, so to speak, to handle things that may arise.

    What would happen if the whole server crashed? Would they say "screw it" until the holiday was over?

    @Mishmash hopefully you find something else to occupy you. My experience with zos is dont plan anything.

    Too bad it hasn't affected the crown store, as I'm sure they'd be right on top of that.

    The issue is that toon says I already have it so it will not allow me to buy it. It simply is locked down and the only way that MIGHT work is if I go out and grind it back up to 10, but that might not work either. I'm afraid to do much of anything because it might screw up my chance of getting a repair.

    I would like to use another toon to test a build, but I do not know using the account will screw up a future fix. Wish they would just answer me!

    I just came across a post on ESO's FB page that someone posted 20hrs ago that their grand psijic villa went missing.

    Coincidence? I do not know.

    After my experience and reading the posts on this thread I feel confident there is an issue going on that threatens the preservation of our accounts and items within it.

    Most of the rest of the pvp community would have lost it, spammed zone with this information and the game would be deserted today.

    If it happens to a typical player then mass rage is on the cards.

    Please keep posting -especially if it's clearer what the bug was/if they are going to help... good luck to you.

    Just so you know, even when support responds they can’t do anything. It’s best to just re level it.

    I've had mixed responses on this thread saying they can get my skill line back and they some say they cannot. I am hoping they can fix it.

    The only reason I have some hope is that -- On 8/29 Support told me they do not have the ability to fix this issue, they had to escalate my report to a higher level of support to handle this specific issue. I am crossing my fingers.

    Looks like they are still ignoring you. Maybe try reddit or Twitter? I know that Gina Bruno has responded on those channels to players in the past. I've seen her respond to other players / be sassy on Reddit and clap back on their comments. Although that was a while back and I know ZOS has worse communication with players than before.

    I did get someone on their FB page, and they said they would check on the ticket #. That was 2hrs ago

    To be honest with you I am not angry, but rather annoyed now. They can try to ignore me but I will be a shard of glass in ESO's foot every hour until this is fixed! I will not give up.

    That FB "check" went to the gutter. It seems they answer your original complaint just to show on record that they answered you then just leave you hanging.

    I purchased a game where the coding glitched out and now it's my problem where I literally have to pester them to get it solved?

    The problem is they did not even say something like
    "We understand and are activity looking into it... it may take a few days, or at least a -- we didn't forget about you".

    It's relevant when you remember it's 4am here. If you think she rolls out of bed and scrolls through her notifications... no. At least, I don't think so.

    Also, do you have any idea how many people @ her, or direct message her at any time?

    Responding to issues or questions regarding the problems with the game is part of being a community manager, I'd think.
    If not I'd think she would be willing to aid in pointing somebody in the right direction or notifying somebody who can help.

    To just leave a customer hanging for 3 days now(?) Us just crap customer service.
    Imagine if your power went out and nobody from the power company responds to you for 3 days or more.

    Unfortunately, you can't quit your power company and go to another. If you aren't quick to respond to your customer base you are in danger of losing those customers to competitors.

    That's bad business.

    My point was that it is the weekend, and while I'm not sure where Jessica is, I know that Gina was working, but that she spent most of the day in the air.

    People on the boards, and elsewhere, for that matter, tend to treat Gina like an ambulatory wishing well. It's not the team doesn't care about issues like this, it's that it happened in a moment when most were out of the office, and, honestly, stuff like this is something that does need to go through the customer support system. While it might not seem like it, Gina does have her hands full with her job. From what I know, so does Jess. They're not blowing you off.

    So, I'll say it again, this is an issue for customer support, and QA. This needs to be /bugged for QA. This issue needs to be dealt with, and this will get it on their plate.

    Second, this is an issue for Customer Support. Remember, they're people too, they're employees. You can be forceful, but be polite. They have to have the tools to fix this. I've been in the situation where CS was telling me they couldn't fix an issue, and, as turns out, it was policy, not the tools themselves, and sticking with it revealed that, and got the issue dealt with. I would be truly surprised if this cannot be fixed on the back end. I'm pretty sure it requires a pair commands that, should, be open to anyone with GM permissions. Though, as I said, this also needs to be put in front of QA, because this means something can go very wrong in the database, and it needs to be looked at.

    Finally, if you have not experienced this issue personally, do not /bug it. QA needs to be able to look at accounts that were affected by this glitch. Telling them that this can happen is useless if they can't see what happened.

    I'll be honest, I'm one of the worst people to try to judge that. I know it can be frustrating. I also know it's not happening today. It's Sunday, the Community Manager and Creative Director are on a plane. We're not going to hear anything right now.

    I also remember that, just because we don't get a response, doesn't mean that what happened wasn't seen by a member of the team. They do read the boards. They just don't post as often.

    That said, this does need to get in front of the team. It's a major, if somewhat rare, issue.
