    I installed the patch, launched the game, selected the toon that is bugged, checked the skill line, and well it is still BUGGED...

    To be honest and open I felt like I wanted to have a cry (crazy I know) but I was so hoping that this patch would have fixed this issue. I was disappointed and that might be the reason for my silly reaction.

    So, anyone that was hoping their own bugged out toon like mine would be fixed -- Sorry, I know how you feel. Those that did get a fix -- I am truly happy for you.

    No, it isn't crazy. Having that amount of work get flushed down the toilet and STILL no response from ZOS would make me actually cry *hugs*

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_BrianWheeler pretty trash that this has been ignored. Has to be a bug related to adding these skill lines in for purchase. Fix this crap please. Yes we're not entitled to anything, but if you keep taking dookeys all over peoples trust, they will quit for good.

    Here is an update, and I am posting it so others that have had this will save themselves the trouble.

    I am sorry to hear that you recently had issues with your Alliance Support line. I am not sure exactly why this would have happened, but I am in the process of collecting information in order to have the Studio take a look and hopefully prevent it from occurring in the future.

    In the meantime, I am not able to adjust character skill levels, but with this last patch, a new system was introduced which may give us a tool we can use to work around it. They added the ability to purchase the skill lines with Crowns, so assuming it is still unlocked for you, are you able to repurchase it? Naturally, I will provide you the Crowns. That way, you should be able to get back to Rank 10 immediately.

    If you can confirm that is unlocked for you, let me know, and I will add the Crowns.

    Otherwise, I am afraid the only option would be to rank back up naturally.

    In regards to the achievement you referenced, the reason it says 8/12/2019 is because that achievement wasn't added to the game until this last patch, so you would have received it the first time you logged in after the Scalebreaker update.

    I wrote back telling them the game will not allow that toon to buy the skill line. I asked them if they could take away the achievement for that toon to see if that will work for me? That is where it stands right now. Things look very dim!

    I have crashed many times since the release of Elsweyr. Im really thankful that this has never happened to me despite the many crashes. Hope you will get some proper help. It's not okay you have to wait so long and then when you do get an actual reply it still isn't fixed.

    Is this your only toon where you have maxed out Alliance Skill Lines?
    If it is so, then the reason you could not buy the skill line is because you don't have them leveled max yet
    in at least 1 toon.

    So worst case scenario, you have to re-level them up. Now, ask this "special team agent", how much Crowns does that translate to as purchasing the Skill Line is not an option.

    Re-leveling may seem the worst case scenario now, but I think there's even more worst than re-leveling.
    It's also possible that you might not be able to re-level because there's some sort of desync in your account state.

    I don't believe they cannot escalate this further and the "special team agent" is it.
    The dev team can certainly take a look at this!

    Back in Auriel's Bow 1.0, I have thought that the best way to handicap a faction with the HUGE pop advantage is to temporarily disable their grouping functionality and their ability to fight in 3rd person point of view! Let's see if these do not even up the odds.

    @MishMash - if you have more than one character, perhaps ask the agent if s/he is able to add the skill line to one of the others, to see if that enables the option to open your main's skill line up again. I don't have maxed anything on anyone, so I'm not sure that would help or hinder, but at least you could discuss it....

    <3 Thank you everyone for all the advice and I have put my reply together that includes the suggestions above. I am crossing my fingers a solution will come up. If I have to level it up so be it but was hoping they could just fix it. They did say they will have a higher team look into this and I sure hope they do find what caused it. I will update as soon as I hear anything.

    Man I am really sorry to hear about this issue. I really hope you get it resolved. I have just startled grinding the alliance skill line and it is daunting. I would hate to see my progress being destroyed in this fashion. All the best to you.

    Ok dayum that is messed up, they really need to do something to fix it for you. Regrinding it out should never be an acceptable response.

    You know this is a CRITICAL FLAW in their game that has a very high chance of spreading to each and every one of you reading this, and they're acting as if its just another day. Support tells you ---just go level it back up. NO! How about your fix your coding flaws and get back to me when you've done that!

    It is a sad state in a game when you lose that much progress and they tell you sorry we can't do anything.

    I usually stick up for support in this game, but this is inexcusable.

    They need to figure out a way to make this right. And if they somehow can't do it technically, then they need to reimburse you monetarily (i.e. something like a bunch of free crowns, 6 months of free ESO+, next year's chapter for free, etc.). I would ask for monetary compensation if I were you. Most companies will oblige since the bad PR of not doing it is worse (I just got $35 shaved off my internet bill last month since I didn't have internet for a few days, but I had to ask for it).

    @TheValkyn I wish I could it would sort everything out for me. However, because I have the achievement for being a master at the Alliance Skill Line for Support and Assault, it will not allow me to purchase it. They offered to give me crowns to buy it if I could... but sadly it is not an option.

    This is ridiculous. Even worse if they have to remove your AvA achievements so this work around can be used.

    My guess is the right people at Zos are not aware of this. @ZOS_BillE please get this person the right kind of help.

    Edit: Those that reply to CS are with a contracted company which his common in the industry. It is not like they are sitting in the same building as the devs and such and pretty much have limited information and tools available to them. Zos can do what is really needed for situations like this.

    The same happened to me. I reported it but, sadly, the answer was that they have no tools to return the missing skill line (alliance war).

    How in the WORLD do they have no tools to return that? They can give it to you from the crown store!
