Yeah that sounds like something only customer support could fix, but it sounds like something they could easily fix if you give them all the information, especially now that skill lines are purchaseable (they could just gift you the crowns needed to buy it at the very least, if nothing else).

You'll have to send a ticket in - remember, when you send a ticket you'll get an automated response almost immediately, you have to reply back to this response to get a customer support person to see it and reply, otherwise they'll assume the automated response solved your query.

Also, if for whatever reason they say they can't fix it, then send another ticket in but change the wording a bit. I've had cases where they said they can't do something and then I try again and someone else is able to fix it.

Still waiting on a fix. They had to escalate it to a specialized team to look into it. *I've tried everything support suggested

After searching for similar issues it seems I am the first one to experience this bug because I am not finding any recent complaints. Unsettling to think this can happen so I hope they figure it out and fix it asap.

The same happened to me. I reported it but, sadly, the answer was that they have no tools to return the missing skill line (alliance war).

The funny things is that all the passives are locked but at the same time maxed. Also the skills were locked but they were still maxed.

I had to play some time to get them all open again. My build is cleanse sorc so it was really disappointing.

In reply, yes the skill points were returned but not the passives.

Yes, but I cannot use them on the skills because it says I do not know those skills yet.

Are you sure you haven't logged into the PTS? xD

After you /bug it keep responding to the support auto-mail. They will eventually be able to restore your character. I would avoid playing on that character till they fix it

Wow, sorry it happened to you, but glad to see it was not just me. ESO truly has a bug in the game that has to be squashed quickly.

Did they escalate your issue to a "specialized team"? I am waiting to hear from them, and on the edge of my seat because it is a long weekend here in the US. I would like this fixed this morning.

If they cannot help me my choice is to go group with others in PvP with them knowing I am a hindrance to the group until I get this leveled up again. With the DoT's out there being so OP--- I really depend on having Purge.

Either way, if I do go that route, I will NOT let this slide and will continue to seek assistance on the issue to make sure it is fixed as I would hate to see others go through this.

In my case, they simply replied that they have no means to return the skills. Oh they also apologized and that was it. I wasn´t persuasive so in the end I just kept playing my toon to get the skills back. Didn´t really take long. Hope they will handle your case with more satisfying results.

ZoS generates many bugs by fixing 1 bug.
