2. Coldharbour-- monotonous monochrome color scheme that's only slightly easier on the eyes than SWTOR's Hoth. Impossible to navigate and locked down via artificial story-gating. Confusing samey-same delves that will keep yiou running in circles for days while you search for the boss.
3. Vvardenfell-- cute guars and interesting architecture or no, this is a much bigger and almost-as-ugly Stonefalls. Yuck. The Ashlanders and pretty Vivec can't save it.
Similar to my thoughts. I'd add that Stonefalls literally has a "find wine casks" quest, and I believe a "kill bats" one as well.
But I dislike Murkmire even more than the ones you cited.
I'd say Greenshade for me. It just annoys me. I wish I could explain it.

For me...I DESPISE Reapers March. It’s spread out, and unlike other areas, you can’t run across map. Apparently the devs thought it smart to surround EVERY LITTLE THING by a mountain which makes this zone so hard to move around

Hew's Bane, specifically Abah's Landing.
I despise the multi level layout. You go to where your quest marker is on the map only to find it is 3 stories above you and you have to back track half the map to find the way up and then complete a maze of planks and ledges.
I actually rage quit the Thieves Guild quest line because of it and didn't go back for over a year to do the thieves guild quest line during the event.
Horrible zone design.
In general I dislike any zone where you need to go around a lot because of tall rocks, boulders or trees, which are made like this intentionally. Also I hate any invisible wall or slope that prevents you climbing or jumping such obstacles (I do not mind when it is story related or for technical reasons such as end of the map).
So, for me these are some of the AD zones like Greenshade or Malabal Tor. I also dislike Reaper's March because of the bland textures and to many wasps which seem very odd to me even for a fantasy game where you have a savanna type of land.
I also did not manage to like Stonefalls, even though some of the story quests were interesting, I always wish to finish the quests faster and go to the Rift.
My suggestion to improve the zones with difficult terrain is to add some vines or ladders that players could use in certain places, because in fact I don't dislike such terrain, just going around in circles or wasting a lot of time to get from one point to an other.
One of the zones I like most is Wrothgar because of how beautiful each area is. Also Hew's Bane and Gold Coast are very well done. Someone did not like the multi-level layout in Abah's Landing, but I like exactly that... since it is more natural, like a city like that would be. I dislike the very spaced and horizontal layout of cities typical to MMOs. Abah's Landing feels great compared to Daggerfall, but it is also a matter of preference.

Imperial City. There is no contest.
There isn't much on this game more annoying than losing Tel Var because a zerg decided to run you over. Cheap PvP deaths are annoying enough as it is. But when you add a penalty to it, it makes it intolerable.

WHAT... I know the PvP aspect can get really annoying, but it's such a cool area, both up in the districts and down in the sewers... nothing else like it in the game.
