Alik'r. Nobody likes the obligatory sand/desert/Egypt level that every videogame has to have for some reason. This is eso's version. Sand levels are ugly bland & boring.
I love the alkr. I like most of the zones in hammerfell to be honest
Pretty much any of the AD zones. Excluding auridon which I thought was nice. Too much swampy forest, confusing geographical layout and visually unappealing landscape for my liking. Grahtwood and greenshade are awful. Malabal Tor is meh. Not a fan of coldharbour either.. for the same aforementioned reasons.
Though I would say some of my favorite zones have confusing geographical layouts as well such as hew's bane and rivenspire, but their visual and aesthetic appeal makes up for it. I know I'm in the minority with liking rivenspire, but I enjoyed it's creepy vibe and mountainous terrain. Not to mention that shornhelm is arguably one of the best cities for general convenience all within a close proximity. And I really liked the weather cycle too.
So i suppose if I were to catagorize my general favorite to least favorite zones by faction, I'd probably go DC, EP, and AD at the bottom.
But my number one favorite zone? Wrothgar, hands down. No explanation needed.

Imperial City. There's just nothing relaxing, fun, or even visually appealing about it. From start to finish it is an unpleasant chore to rival cleaning a sick cat's litterbox.
