I have yet to hear someone crying about "irresponsible pet owners" focus on the easy solution - get pets to act better in the game. Make them stay out of the way on purpose. Add a repulsive field to NPCs and turnin stations.
My pet gets in my own way many times, but unsommoning it has costs and is far from easy. (I am on the PS4.)
They could fix things, but instead many demand players do without part of what makes the game fun for them (running with a pet).

Daily? Weekly? Monthly? Once in a blue moon?
I want this pets blocking progress issue fixed.

And that loss of magic hurt you how at a crafting table

Just stop already, @Nordic__Knights.
You're asking Pet Sorcs to remember to unsummon at every specific location that you deem inappropriate (including crafting tables).
Instead of trying to micromanage another player, try moving two steps another way to access the crafting table you need.
Remember that there are quests in town that Pet Sorcs are trying to complete ... a blanket ban on combat pets in town won't work.

no I'm not trying to micromanage anybody I am asking for the use of a table within content that I paid for too as I said "on a crafting table" you tell me one need for a pet? you cannot find one other than just to be outright rude and disrespectful of other people who paid for the game requesting for them to be removed
It's actually starting to *** me off. It's happening too frequently to me now.

Your bias is showing again.
You got a part of the community asking to use what they paid for without any inconvenience (crafting tables and NPC quest givers)
Vs.
You got a part of the community asking to use what they paid for without any inconvenience (Sorc and Warden pets)
And when numerous people start asking for Sorc and Warden pets to be taken away in cities (completely ignoring that Sorcs and Wardens paid to be able to use those skills in justice system, duels, and quests), it's no surprise that players aren't happy with those suggestions.

Put a timer on the bear and sorc pets!
Put a timer on the bear and sorc pets!
Rather than a timer they could do something similar as when pets dismiss automaticall when you enter water.
This should be easy to code for town too, as they already did it for water.
Once you walk away the pet is up again automatically.
For now as some already said, the addon Petkennel is perfect. It offers options for the places you wish the pet to dismiss automatically. (Bank, vendor, crates, chest, dungeons ...)

Why should I lose my pet in water? That is quite dangerous, though I bet you don't play a pet sorc so you have no idea on this.
When my warden swim, the bear vanish by himself, no addon for that. No dismiss from me. Its automatic. Its from the game itsefl already. I just said to apply that rule to towns. As soon as you leave town, your pet comes back automatically.
And ... i have 3 sorcerers.
