For powerful ultimates, it definitely makes sense. The more powerful the ability, the more difficult it should be to land one successfully.5 -

Stamina should also get some sets that benefit from cast time skills.

highkingnm✭✭✭✭NoThe reason I love ESO’s combat is the speed and cast times take that away. I don’t mind it for things like Channeled Acceleration as I do it once every thirty seconds for a good buff, but for other abilities it just slows combat and makes it dull (and makes it handle like trash).2 -

✭✭NoIntentionally making combat less responsive is bad, and I have no *** idea why people want it. Cast times have next to no place in ESO's combat system, especially with performance being as bad as it is. Good luck landing a Dizzying Swing with 300 ping while moving around a lot.1 -

I kinda like cast time on Dark Flare as well.
But, I am also glad they removed cast time from Blood Altar.
Cast time on ultimates is plain wrong IMO.

Xogath✭✭✭NoIf cast times are going to stick around on Ultimates, then every Ultimate in the game needs to have a reason for it to be slotted.
Incap, for example, got Minor Reave as a bonus for slotting it. Not terribly powerful, fits the theme of the class, etc. So give every other Ultimate a little Minor bonus like that for slotting it. Something unique to the classes, or the skill lines from which the Ultimate comes from.
Dawnbreaker - Added damage (all damage) against Daedra/Undead/etc. for having it slotted. This makes it worth slotting in situations where the majority of your targets are going to meet those types.
Berserker Strike - Since this is from a weapon skill line, maybe a small weapon damage bonus.. or an added bonus to the weapon line passives.. or anything else that fits the 2H theme.
Rend - extra critical chance on DW DoTs? I really don't know.
But you see the point I'm getting at.3 -
