The only cheating being done to secure campaign victory is the nightcapping and PvDoor squads

exactly!
well said.
CP is a crutch for people who can’t sustain and want to be "tanky" so they aren’t immediately punished for making mistakes.

Speaking of nightcapping, I know the EU server is messed up and EU can't help time zones but there sure has been a lot of EU nightcapping on the NA servers lately. But I won't call that cheating.
Oh and capturing keeps, what you call PvDoor is the object of the campaign, so show up and defend your keeps.
If you are small scale show up and fight the players taking the keep.

Objectives should give less points the lower the campaign population is, change my mind. The outcome of a campaign should be decided during "primetime" not during offhours when it's dead.
The outcry against is tiny compared to the past two years of outcry in favor, along with the mountain of evidence and reports submitted to ZoS on faction-hopping abuses.
Another report went to ZoS yesterday on PS4NA. That particular abuse falls into the 'ban' category, according to statements previously made by ZoS.
All I wanted was one locked campaign. Apparently, since Update 18 went live and ZoS stated they would monitor concerns about Alliance loyalty, the abuses are significant and pervasive enough to require the decision they made.

When 1 factions is loosing heavily..people switch chars and play for winning faction..infinitelly reducing a chance for a loosing faction to rise up...
With fac-lock you are forced to help your faction of choice rise up and win insteaad of hopping on the winners side and crushing the loosing faction even worse..
It makes for more competition and fighting chance fpr everyone..
Blood for the Pact!!
Funnily enough I think myself and most other people who don’t want faction lock, are doing so for the complete opposite reason.
We just want fun PVP. If the alliance we are on is dominating the map, we actually want to join the weak faction so we have people to fight against.
There is no fun in sieging doors and killing guards with nobody defending, it is Player Vs Player , not player vs NPC’s to gain bad rewards. And anyway rewards are useless, you get transmute stones on the losing alliance anyway.
My reasons are in your favour at least, so why not faction lock only the rewards but allow cross play. And punish scroll flipping.
I agree his catchphrase is pretty lame, but he does have a good idea. If there were some way to weight the scoring according to the population of the server, it might solve a number of issues put forward. You'd probably have to weight the scoring according to the population of the smallest faction, though. Yes, this would necessarily mean that the contributions of people playing in off-peak hours would be lessened; but I would not define that as a "screw over".TequilaFire wrote: »And that would screw over players in different time zones.
Defend your keeps instead of clique sayings like "change my mind".
