Thanks alot for cheering me up, I thought the same aswell (races only matter for PvE)I know this is kinda odd, but I'm playing as a DK breton pup.
Do I have any hope at all? I know breton is a magicka race, and the only benefit I see from using one is for the cheaper heal ("only" 400 less, but more sustain I guess).
The only way I thought it will be "meta", by wearing either "dragur hulk" or "bone pirate" (for more stamina), and some proc/damage set (for more weapon damage)...
Maybe one day they will change both werewolf and vampire to work off the highest stat instead of from an individual pool, but until then - can I do something to make my wolf work? or there is no chance?
I wouldn't worry about it. The differences between races arent that big as to make a werewolf useless. You will most likely be fine unless you are trying to perform in the top 0.1% group.

@Qbiken
What's the sweet spot for resists when not in Werewolf form? When not on my stamblade I tend to err on the side of tankiness so I can survive in PvP. I'm thinking I might be way over the cap when in WW form.

Do you have any tips/suggestions for a PVP breton dk werewolf? should I use the normal fury/bonepirate s&b+2h combo (as every stamdk using), or something special like a hybrid dw/bow or something?
Any breton pups over here? don't be shy to share your experience...

Pack leader vs Beserker:
Look I know that berserker is supposed to be better damage wise but as far as I saw it the bleeds did 1k more damage per tick on average and since my ww pets do 600/wolf every 0.5 seco ds so if I get my 2 pets on a target and he's not a super tank they usually put up more pressure then berserker bleed.
since as a medium wolf I rely more on my houls which because of a reduced ability cost of medium I can afford to use more often and they were critting for 11k average against the usual pvp targets(non tanks or healers).

Depends on how you plan to mitigate incoming damage. If you want to "face-tank" players then you need to invest more into physical- and spell resistance. If you rely more on kiting and dodge-roll to avoid damage, then you can get away with less. So really up to you and what playstyle you prefer. But generally speaking you can never really go wrong with sitting at or above resistance hard cap (33k) or slightly above it.Pack leader vs Beserker:

Inb4 this becomes a console roast, some of you guys are ok tho
I feel this is a console thing about Pack-Leader being more damage, not going to lie, but my combat metrics says the complete opposite. For PvE this is absolutely true but in PvP Berserker comes out ahead everytime.
but........
•All pets will now inherit your bonuses and derived stats. This means your Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Multipliers, Champion Points, and other % damage or healing amplifications will be applied to any pet you summon. Item sets that summon pets will continue to not inherent your Critical Strike Chance.
This might change things up a bit, but since Wrathstone has only been up for a day, I haven´t been able to check the difference in damage, but the wolves have a habit of wandering of quite a lot, hence the reason why I prefer berserker.since as a medium wolf I rely more on my houls which because of a reduced ability cost of medium I can afford to use more often and they were critting for 11k average against the usual pvp targets(non tanks or healers).
I don´t know about you, but only time I hit 11k howls is if my enemy is in PvE gear :P. But then again, most people on PC/EU run around with very tanky builds (not tanks by defenition but very high survivability).

Beserker bleeds: 1.973k/ second crit, 1.45k non crit vs a target with average crit resistance and resistances
Pack leader bleeds + pets(you can controll them by HA: Pets 836/ second crit x2(720 non crit/second)+ 1.3k crits(1k non crit )bleed
Target has 23k resistances and 2.7k critical resistances in heavy armor
Houl of agony: non crit 6.7k crit: 8.7k vs the mentioned target
Mind you this is on xbox where we havent had all the buffs to khajiit yet and the implosion changes so the base damage will increase by 5% with the new implosion and my mechanical aquity burst should increase by 15% isch

Well, the higher resistance and tankier targets you face, the better berserker is. Here on PC/EU even most light and medium armor setup runs 30k+ resistances, so berserker with the extra bleed damage is definitely worth it for me.

Well that must make pvp extremly boring with everyone running around as a tank^^

So people probably die quicker here then on PC.

cries in sub 20 FPS and 150+ ping as avarage
Deciding on sets. To confirm, armor procs don't work in WW form? So Bone Pirate monster set or 7th legion gear won't proc?

I wear 7th Briarheart and Bogdan
7th and Briarheart can no longer proc Bogdan.
Been running this for about 2 years
I guess I’ll just build 40k plus health now like they want us too

Sorry bud, dunno what that means. Trying to figure out if in WW form, my gear can still proc

So yeah as far as i can see for a target with those resistances if both pets are alive and attacking your target(heavy attack to fixate them on a target) the pack leader is better but; for quick targeting and putting up pressure without having to heavy attack beserker is better. On console of course many people target pets so thats an added bonus I guess.....
On the other hand im in medium and fast so i dont really need the pets as a distraction so i guess for my setup beserker with the quicker burst setup time might be better but idk tbh.
