Virtually no changes to DKs on PTS 3... Worrisome

Virtually no changes to DKs on PTS 3... Worrisome
I remember when I tried getting mDK's better pvp mechanics buy spamming the forums with bugged ability videos and slipping in raw number comparisons on average k/d ratios for different classes (mDK being bottom tier). You may as well be speaking your own language, they just don't understand.
Honestly I feel bad for you class reps sill trying to convince the devs to make the better changes. In the past 4 almost 5 years I've only ever seen 1 or 2 actually good changes for pvp purely because of feedback. The 99% of changes have basically had nothing to do with closing the ever growing gap between classes pvp kill potential.
I'm out of the loop at this point but I imagine stam builds are still flying around slapping bads for kills in 1-3 seconds. This will probably be ESO pvp until the game is done.

Yep.
Well, actually... it's worse. Tried heavy stamden meta-ish tonight. The amount of near effortless damage, ample resources and tankiness -- even for a novice is not quite what I wanted purple gear -- is astonishing. Comparing it to melee magicka is disheartening.

This is true. Same experience over here. Much less effort to play melee compared to magicka. Magicka DK resource management is a minigame of its own. Even faster staff heavy attack would be welcome at this point as sustain help.
Well, you actually tried the easiest class in the game, you should try a stamina dk or a stamplar. You guys are so delusional thinking mag vs stam while it’s class/spec vs class/spec.
@Quantum_V Thank you for trying to help us DK's out. There's only so much you can do when talking to a crumbling decrepit brick wall.
Please ask them, why nothing to help improve what little stam dk's have? Why not at least improve noxious breath hit box mechanics? I mean, Gina did post that they were aware of it in a previous class rep notes. Why gives us poison cost reduction for 2 already cheap poison abilities?
I just don't understand. What are they trying to do? Why are they making these changes? Do they even care? Or do they only make changes to the most popular classes, to keep the majority player base preoccupied?
Honestly, I'm almost positive they are persistent liars. They lie so that they can make money. They lie so they can avoid responsibility. Constantly lying will only harm yourself and your conscience in the end.
@Quantum_V
Another question for the development team: if mDK is gonna get a cost increase in the Flame Lash proc, to make it similar to Frags and Will, shouldn't in turn get a cost reduction in all the skills, or a cost redution passive, or at least a (consistent) resource recovery passive?
Because the only thing I see are nerfs and 0 compensation.
We have no cost reduction, resource increase or a skill like Dark Exchange or Siph Strikes, so imho the cost increase is not entirely justified.
Considering wee need to invest res to make the proc work, it seems fair.

Yeah, I don't know man. I told that to them in meeting. No points in reducing the cost of cheap abilities and bow skill line abilities when that's not what stamDKs need. Sustain help should ideally come from ultimates again, as the class was intentionally designed to do.
I'll do my best to bring this to them once more, and hopefully they will listen.@Quantum_V

I agree man. I really tried to emphasize the fact that mDKs really can't take another sustain nerf again. From what I've heard the development team is working on magDK sustain change, specially for PvP scenarios.

Actually I like this idea very much. Would make them unique compared to others this way. Could maybe add this to molten armaments?

If ZOS is giving mDKs a cost increase in flame lash to bring us "on par" with Crystal Frags- are they going to give us a passive execute to bring us on par as well?

Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

Oh, good one.
Also, I wish a "lava movement" skill, just like T-1000 in that old movie (or if you prefer, just like Glacius move in KI)

It is not just mDKs receiving this treatment tbf. All Mag classes are getting hit very hard. I have literally no idea how magsorcs are going to survive when targeted by a heavy armor class and Magblades just got every single one of their active PvP skills nerfed at once.
I'm guessing the Devs play heavy armor brawler classes?

Heavy armor brawlers are getting the big nerf of this patch btw. L2read
Also, stamina dk still desperately need some form of group utility

I can read but I also have some perspective. Brawlers got a little diddy nerf but it pales in comparison to the nerfs to light armor mag classes so whilst you may find yourself a little weakened, if your competition is even weaker still thats a net-buff.
Having said all that the main winners here are probably medium armor stamblades.

The winners are clearly HEAVY stamblades cause the insane mitigation they can get with major evasion and their kit being stronger vs medium users, but the nerf to expedition and roll dodge is huge for every other stamina class. Also I fail to see comparable nerfs to light armor (it even got buffed). Shielding change is a big thing if you play a shieldstacker sorc, other classes are don’t relie on shields bigger than 40% most of the time since they have access to healing
